That's shit is certainly bad, but since hateful people tend to use this as justification to hate on women, seems this sub is becoming a beacon for extreme sexist (regardless of if you think it was sexist before) .

And do they speak for all feminists? Do most feminist marches exclude men, or is this a minority case? And what do you mean largely excluded, were men not allowed? The feminist marches in America during the civil rights movement were pretty much only women too. Was that feminism worse?

People are also a bit tired of people attacking feminism, a movement with likely tens of millions, by pointing to a single person in Mexico throwing a firebomb (without context too, who knows if it was justified or not). Edit: and other commenters are pointing out that the police in Mexico are very corrupt. So my point is made.

Some people do indeed find hatred sickening.

It could be he is just making it sound like that. I'm sure it's just a regular fwb, and he's being a jerk and acting as if he's above her worth.

Do you even realise how you sound when you say 'I offer nothing but dinner and dick and her life is better for it'? You're not Jesus Christ you know. I'm sure you wouldn't like her talking as if you were god's gift to her.

That's literally classical gender roles in our society. The man is the breadwinner and the woman stays home. If you don't think that's gender roles, that's because feminism has changed societal perceptions of the role of women in the past couple of decades. It's good for men that men can stay at home and look after kids now if they so choose. That right there is one benefit.

Ah okay, well that shit is bad and unhealthy. I can agree with RP on that, self-empowerment and self-value is important.

I always thought blue pill was everything but red pill. Red pill is the 'truth' so everything else must be false no? If not, are red pillers fine with people that don't hold most RP values, but are open to casual sex? Because that's basically all of new-wave feminism, which they seem to have big gripes with.

I don't think OP means prostitutes, just casual sex in general. I think the point they are making is that the most attractive guys are hot, genuinely caring and genuine to themselves, and hence are blue pilled. I don't necessarily agree with that argument, I know that a lot of guys that pursue casual sex have relatively red pill views. I'm not experienced with those that are masters of the casual sex life, but I think that in order to be a master with that, you have to make a good first impressi…

I'm not sure I'd call it pedestalizing, but monogamy does involve an elevated view of your partner. Ideally it goes both ways. Relationships where the man pedestalizes the woman, and it's only one way, is obviously unhealthy. I also don't think it's common, while you probably do. Again, cars aren't people. I would like lots of cars, but if I had to choose between furbishing a crappy car, or ten crappy cars including that one, I'd choose the former. This is operating under the assumption that rel…

Firstly, I wanna clarify, I think we are getting our wires crossed on gender roles. If it is a 'gender role' to be respectful to women, then yes women will be all for that. However I think that being respectful to others in a relationship should be something both genders do. Now, I have rape fantasies, but doesn't mean I want to rape women lol. I'm feminist as fuck, just because I have fantasies that r/incels verbalises doesn't mean I want to enact those fantasies. Clearly, this could be accompl…

By women's rights, I'm including the idea of not wanting to be confined to a gender role. It was badly phrased you're right. But what I mean is, if a woman doesn't think she should be confined to the kitchen, she isn't going to prefer a guy that wants her confined to the kitchen.

These studies, of all the ones I checked, are focusing on initial interactions, or amount of sex people are getting. Newsflash, 'bad' guys are going to be more likely to be risk-takers. They're going to be more likely to get sex just by virtue of that. It doesn't mean women are attracted to all the bad traits that go along with the confidence and risk-taking. They're also going to be more experienced in making a good first impression, by virtue of their risk-taking. If they're narcissistic, you …

I mean, duh, men that are 'bad' are more likely to take risks and so are going to be getting more sex. They'll also be better at making first impressions by virtue of their experience, and if they're narcissistic they'll look their best too. If you think sex is the only thing in life, then by all means put on a false bravado and act dickish. But making conclusions any further than that, that women prefer to have relationships with bad people, that they are all denying it because for some reason …

You don't think some men would rather be genuinely kind than get more sex? I for one would rather be a good person than bang all the women I like. There's more to life than sex. Regardless, these studies aren't saying much. Risk-taking is associated with 'bad' traits. Thus bad boys are going to be getting more sex, more experience, and thus making better first impressions. If they're narcissistic, you can bet they're going to look their best too.

You can develop a relationship with a car. Some people tend to prefer one strong relationship over lots of sexual ones. Also, they are arguing about values, not monogamy vs polygamy. You can have blue pill values and not be monogamous.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 07:14 AM
1

Some people think monogamy has its own value. It's like choosing one car to become a talking car. You don't think the idea of having one person to spend your life with has value?

It's good to identify that there aren't absolutes. Some people prefer casual sex and some prefer monogamy. It's not like there's a hard truth. I don't think OP was claiming there was though, they were claiming that the values of people who pursue casual sex match with the blue pill. If you believe the blue pill has to involve monogamy, then obviously this argument fails. but I think they were talking about blue pill as in 'everyone that isn't red pilled'
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 07:07 AM

You can define blue pill like that if you want. But most progressive non red pillers are all to happy to pursue casual sex. You yourself are imparting assumptions by claiming that casual sex is better. Also, I can't find where else you mentioned it. But you said something about the fact it only takes one example to disprove this post. This post obviously is not saying all men who have casual sex often are blue pilled. It's saying they tend to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 07:05 AM

Just because RP thinks that's what everyone else does doesn't mean they do that. Progressive thought has become very much against the idea of nuclear family being best. And progressives tend to advocate for positive views of non monogamy.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 07:04 AM

Well that's certainly a claim. Also, misogynistic men do tend to do better in misogynistic societies that support misogynistic men.

Firstly, even if what you say is true, it is not exactly relevant. This post is about being successful with women on a casual basis, not with relationships. Being genuine and true to yourself does not mean you have to seek friendship with all your sexual partners. And some women clearly do want relationships. Your proposition that relationships aren't worth it won't change whether women think they are. Now as to what you are arguing, do you not think emotional closeness combined with sexual inti…

Firstly: there is more to life than sex. Even if your assumption is true, freeing men from gender roles can still help men. Not being confined to a gender role means greater freedom in your self-growth and life. Secondly: That's a huge assumption. Many would argue that women desire genuineness. But it's my word against yours. I know I personally prefer a woman who is true to herself and confident. Rather than wanting to be in the kitchen to satisfy societal norms (the latter meaning there is les…

Women and men can display backbone, as can effeminate and masculine men. So no.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 06:39 AM

Wait what? What does that even mean? Obviously gender roles have some basis in biology, but why are you lumping it on women and not just humans in general?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 06:38 AM

Exactly, red pill is an ideology. It's not whether someone is muscly or not. He can represent the ideal figure of the red pill, but that doesn't mean he subscribes to the ideology. Heck, a lot of blue pillers probably want to be buff too. That doesn't make them red pilled.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 06:37 AM

Apparently being masculine is automatically red pill now?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/09/19 06:35 AM

Incels and 'niceguys' are a product of the red pill. They believe if they can act a certain way women will fall for them. Blue pillers realise that you have to be your genuine self, that there is more to life than sex, and not to fake your niceness. Soy boys is just a useless insult applied to any feminist man, white knighting is usually just a useless insult too against a man that is just standing up for a woman.

One way I haven't seen mentioned here: The blue pill, or more specifically feminist activism, helps men by targeting what is seen as toxic masculinity. One of these effects (others have already been mentioned) is that if there's less toxic masculinity, women are going to feel less need to be cautious of men. Currently, women need to be extremely cautious of men. They are usually physically stronger, and every experience with a creep leads them to be more likely to view awkward behaviour from guy…

This is one article lol. It doesn't exactly prove that the premise is faulty. It's pretty obvious that women who care about women's rights are going to be less attracted to a partner who doesn't care about their rights.
