1	Any advice on not getting too drunk? If you're problem is that you always need to have a drink in your hand, like an oral fixation type of issue where you would feel awkward just standing there, thats a problem - a crutch. You shouldn't be just standing there, you should be doing something, being actively involved in a conversation. But that part is probably obvious. Its a hard habit to break, but you can do it. 2	A tip for anyone trying to pull on public transport Find an alternative that works for you, but allows the same opportunity for conversation/attention/whatever. You dont go on pretending. If you are actually still seeing a girl that you randomly picked up on the subway/bus two weeks after your first encounter, she probably likes you well enough to not give a shit about it.
