1	An interesting reply to "So what do you do?" when you can't tell them what job you do due to confidentiality, government...ect Don't get techinical or long-winded. Instead of, "I'm a cinematographer," say, "I make films." Easy. Easy easy. I'm a radio dj, so that usually speaks for itself. EDIT: This isn't really directed at you. I'm more addressing it to the general populace of Seddit. Boring job? Give a general description of what you do. 1	College kid here needs advice You're overthinking it. You're in college - it will never be easier to meet people at any other time in your life. Seriously, I've made friends from just wandering up the hall, looking for people to drink with. I get that you aren't where you want to be socially, but you aren't going to get there by sitting in your dorm room not "relating" to the people you live with.
