It's the best and worst advice mainly because when you say "be yourself" people misinterpret it to "do what you want". It makes people rationalise their good and bad behaviour, but when you strictly word the advice as " be yourself" then it requires you to also consider personal morals and the little voice in your head telling you what is good and bad. Anyone who's grown up and can make adult decision should then be able to make a decision on something that is both a personal choice and is moral…

Good responses from this thread Her: "I have a boyfriend" You: "I have a goldfish" Her: "What?" You: "Oh, I'm sorry. I thought we were talking about shit that doesn't matter." "Are you gonna marry him?" "He's a lucky man" On second thoughts, /u/RPSigmaStigma is onto something. Her: "I've got a boyfriend" Me: "Does he treat you well?" Her: "Yes..." Me: "I wouldn't" (insert cocky smile here)

Ha, yeah that too. I like the movie as well, it just makes me think too much about my ex and other stuff is all.

Oh god. Yes I've seen it. My ex gf loves that movie. She told me how much she wished she had the main female character's "easy" relationship life, which I think helped her decide to break up with me (obviously there's more to it than that but I won't get into it). I haven't seen it in a while, but from memory I think the main moral is the expectations vs reality thing they were going for and how depressing it can be if you let your expectations get a hold of you. People can say "ugh I'm never da…

Firstly, I think it's more bravery than confidence. You've gone with the flow more than what you've initiated (such as the kiss)... which concerning your question; I think you've led her on with. If I was in your shoes and I didn't want a relationship I would have simply told her this fact the moment she laid her head on my shoulder. It's a matter of placing your feelings on the table just like she did by putting her head on your shoulder. Groping and kissing her only secures her thoughts that y…

Nice. The other thing to add to this metaphor is the fact that people also like fishing because of the scene. They go out and watch the sun rise/set, feel the river softly bop their dingy about like a rocking chair, listen to the birds, drink a few, generally enjoy life. And if you don't catch a fish it's doesn't matter because you were enjoying other things. Sometimes it could even rain which might suck, but sometimes this is one of the best time to catch fish! There's a reason they call it "fi…

In Australia, we sometimes call trolling "shit-stirring" or "taking the piss". As an Aussie I can say that most of us like to speak to others who are in our good books like this because our intention is not to make others feel bad, but just to have some fun/lighten the mood/look on the bright side/etc. I think that when you change your perspective and intention of something that is so natural to you, it might work in your favour. Look up "Push & Pull", it's a pua method based around who you seem…

Game=Pick-up method (routine) Gameboy= boy with game FR=field report (first thread) Neg=negative compliments (fun tasteful shit stir) DHV= demonstrate high value (looking alpha) F close= fuck/full close (he's so good at the game she gets the dick/relationship) Hope that helps instead of getting "HURR DURR READ THE FORUMS 24/7"

Nice try, Neil Strauss Only joking. But seriously it was good to hear a viewpoint of a female (if this isn't a troll) who could spot PUA techniques like white on rice at a paper plat party, and still tell our community that it was still successful for Gameboy. So, thanks for your pov :)

I would have added, just as tip for negging, to only do it to the girls who are a 9 or 10 to drop their 'Bitch Shield'. For people who are confused on Who to do it to and why: It's basically just to make you seem you aren't lusted for their appearance to the 'bitchy' girls who are babes, when in reality, you are and you are just placing yourself equal with them in their eyes.

Yeah but your family's job is to help people. I think he pretty much ment not to be a psychiatrist unless it's your job. If you're trying to improve your mental/physical health then work on yourself, not others. You wouldn't fly a airplane if you were a personal instructor for a gym, would you?

Exactly. The whole 20 things was giving ideas to help fix yourself, not others. Fixing (or 'helping') others is a whole new ball game. That's why he said the 20th point.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
