I agree. I think leaving is something that should make him reconsider. Doesn't mean you need to burn the bridge, on the possibility he realizes he's been duped by redpill. But leaving him, for now, shows him that maybe he's not so right about it if people around him start leaving.

My guess would be that he probably feels victimized on the inside to some level, or insecure. And now that he's consuming this redpill media, it's sort of like bringing it out in him. Like before he was unaware, but now he's activated unconsciously because of the RP stuff. I love that you care so much that you want to get him out of it. But he needs to want it. Currently it seems to fuel his unconscious feelings. You can try giving him proofs that debunk RP, but he needs to be willing to listen.…

What turned my life around was starting a Metta, Loving Kindness meditations (example: https://youtu.be/XxJFum2RYIs?feature=shared). I started feeling warmth in my heart and also towards other people. I had some people I was scared to connect with, and I just goofed around with them. Also if you can, start a new hobby where there are more women around (theatre, arts, pottery, book club maybe). Over time, you get used to interacting with women more.

Self-empowerment isn't bad... it's gotten a bad stigma recently because of those grifters. See, the issue is that they are trying to empower themselves externally: physical fitness, pulling girls, working as much as possible. But these things aren't what leads to happiness or long-term satisfaction. True self-empowerment is internal, and once you start questioning your beliefs and feeling what is true for you, you start seeing others in a different light, as well as seeing that it's relationship…

I think he was easily influenced of the redpill, because his own insecurities came out that he wasn't aware of before. And he tried to explain your behavior through that lens. However, since it's a distorted view, it's not true. And because of his insecurities essentially, you broke up. But I'm thinking if he cried and said he loved you, maybe he really isn't as committed to redpill. Maybe it'd be best to ask which one he values more, you or the stuff he learned, and then have him choose. I feel…

I don't trust Neil Strauss. Even though he's changed (has talked about his relationship struggles on interviews), this guy was a top PUA. He might be deceptive, just pretending to be erronous in his ways.

Nice guys finish last, because they put themselves as last. The most important thing is to be your authentic self, and not listen to the bullshit conditioning redpill promotes. It becomes more and more clear just how toxic these ideas are, once you make it to the other side. Another important part is to work on your attachment issues, since that is where a lot of the relational problems come from.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
