Totally awesome. One nitpick. When you mention women's past restrictive gender roles, it would have been better to mention that men were also forced into much worse gender roles. To me, the most damaging aspect of "Patriarchy" mythology is that it glosses over the fact that most men were expected to be greviously wounded or die on command, either in war or in deadly jobs. When I refer to Feminists, I refer to persons who identify as Feminists. I'm not sure what other basis to identify them on, because Feminism is a word that currently has about 1.5 bazillion definitions that depend on the mood of the Feminist one asks at that particular time of day. I totally hear what you're saying. However, I'm going to celebrate the fact they arrived at the party, rather than criticize the car they used to get there. Sometimes, the first steps to major shifts in one's worldview sound like weak sauce.
