Yeah I first heard about the story in another sub. In that thread a guy pointed out the gender inequality in the case and got heavily downvoted. People argued that women couldn’t vote back then as if a 13 year old boy could vote either.

So if the crime rate of one race is significantly higher than others, does it mean we should have race exclusive bus? And when I studied western family laws, I noticed when the law is not equal for father, they cited the need to maintain family and social stability as their reason to prove the reasonableness of the law; when it’s not equal for mother, suddenly human rights are placed above all else and family stability becomes nothing and the unequal law most be amended （which has already been down.)
