Nursing is an excellent return on investment. I was a mechanic for 11 years and took night classes to make a career change. Wouldn't have happened if nursing school wasn't so flexible and achievable in short term. I'm a nurse. I payed for school out of pocket while working. Almost everyone I went to school with worked while in school. It's very manageable, especially if you go to a community college.
