Pretty great, got a killer opportunity with my company running a crew in Texas. Really turned my life around in the past year. Might even be able to be a home owner by the end of the year.

Murder Privilege, just to get the point across

This is a very principled take, good on you. My counterpoint is if I look at the evidence presented to the public and it says ther person is guilty I will act as I see fit. Example, if I ever see my sisters ex in public I'm scrambling his noggin. He acted inappropriately with my niece and fella is a proven liar with priors for sexual assault.

Sounds like your ma is a rape apologist, and if we use today's clown world logic she's basically a rapist.

Cinnamon gum and ice water were my go to. It just kills the craving for me.

Why are you arguing this on this post in particular? I feel like ot says quite a lot about you. I'm not here for a debate I came for support. I don't care if you think my religion is nonsense. But I do think you're right my wife was good to have around I should have let her kill me in fact. Also you seem oddly hung up on something you think is fake.

Will do thanks for the info.

I know what my religion says and if followed properly everything would be fine. The human interpretations get in the way, but we all just do the best we can. She was an evil person and deeply against religion. I've never done anything nearly as cruel and I try to follow my faith the best I can. I don't think a religion would get far on the world stave if they just preached pain and violence.

It's an issue of interpretation. My faith teaches to move on and forgive the best I can. It's me who isn't there yet. My faith teaches that what was done to me was an evil act but I must choose the better path.

You're allowed your opinion but my faith isn't up for discussion.

I'm not concerned about it, there are shitters in every profession. Sadly that person could contribute to someone's death saying things like that.

In the U.S. I'll have insurance through work soon so I'm holding out for that.

I disagree. I think it's just the people that were in the group.

I've been mending things with my family, I go to church and do community stuff with them and it helps. I've been trying to get out and do stuff but most of my hobbies are solo activities, likely an effect of my experience now that I think about it.

I got clean to get this far, not going back to that hole.

It was years ago when it first started, I'm sure I would have were I not so embarrassed about the whole thing. It was a free clinic anyway not like they ever give a shit.

That's basically the only worthwhile conversations I've had about it. I DM for my group and I've considered turning her into a bbeg.

I really appreciate you sharing, alot of that sounds very familiar. I'm physically out just dealing with the emotional aftermath. I was always terrified of her going to the police as I'm a pretty big person and I felt like the police would just side with her. In the end I got out with my work computer, 3 days of clothes, and my dog.

Went to my dad, he said to just deal with it. Not much other male family and no friends thanks to the ex-wife. She isolated me so it was just her friends and family for years with occasional trips so my parents.

I'm not even mad at It, I'm mad at myself for letting it go on for as long as I did. It is the reason I carry now. Just as It is the reason I assume every female will flip at a moments notice. I cannot trust them, it's just not safe.

Going searching is a little out of my price range but I should have insurance in a couple months so I'll look into some local people.

Never thought of PTSD as a possible diagnosis.

I've gotten more clarity talking to people on the I telnet than any therapists or doctor. I don't have much faith in a branch of science that serves the same function as having a good talk.

Well at least I have some criteria now. Unfortunately with my work being less stable I've put the therapist search on the back burner so I can secure the necessities.

There are options as I'm in a large city now. Finding work has been a challenge and I'm hoping to find something with insurance so I can get on a regular mental health schedule and I'm sure that would help. I have a year to finish my degree and it's in high demand so I'll keep my fingers crossed there. I'm very sorry to hear about your struggles

It's more than I've gotten anywhere else. I just want shit to back to normal, I feel like there's so much hate in me now.

I've been through 3 therapists, 1 was a couples therapist my wife would never show up to, 2 priests, and tried a few support groups. No one seems to actually take it seriously.

What it means to be a man can be different from person to person. Just try to understand where he is coming from and make clear points where disagreements occur. He may seem harsh but I’m sure he thinks he is just trying to make you a stronger person.
/r/MensRights27/07/21 08:47 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
