And maybe do one of those time period locks where they need to be a member for 3 days before they can post/comment? They have that on the guitar forum and it’s annoying, I nearly forgot to come back and post my guitar questions.

I want one of those headsets where you sit in my ear during dates and tell me what to do. You sound like you have it down, in the most rational and scientific way possible. Have feelings, do things, enjoy it but be aware of his limitations and your own.

Hmm, don’t go on my opinion above too much. I’ve been out of the dating game for a long while, and recovering from a period of depression and anxiety. Most things make me depressed and anxious. I see a puppy and think about how long his breed’s average life span is. 😂 And I do love the messages and personal experiences and I think filtering that is a disservice to people that do post as they should be allowed vent and speak freely without worrying they’ll be too depressing if they are too real a…

Yeah, I can see that too, for sure. Part of me agrees wholeheartedly, and wants to be more educated so I can’t be surprised but the other part of me knows that the more I know, the more nervous I get. As a chronic over thinker, it’s harder to overthink the things I haven’t thought of yet, or don’t know about. It never occurred to me that a guy would date a girl for a bet or a joke, but then I saw a movie where it happened and now I just presume all men are doing this when they show interest. So …

Oh sorry, I don’t mean that as an insult. It’s normal to be calculated and strategic when you’re experienced and you’ve been disappointed. It would be stupid to not be. And not all of the posts are bitter. Some are honest observations and advice. But I do think “some” are and when I read too many in a row I start to think dating is pointless and more trouble than it is worth and depressing. And I don’t have time to go through and highlight the helpful safe-for-the-uninitiated posts from the depr…

If you’re new to dating, I wouldn’t come here personally. Or do a brief read of the safety posts please please please, but don’t read too many comments. These are all personal experiences and some are bitter and jaded, which is allowed because they’re based on personal experience. But I don’t think you should go into dating already bitter and jaded based on other people’s experiences. Just meet new people, do whatever you’re comfortable doing, and if you don’t like it then don’t do it. That appl…

Their mom and dad could take pictures, like a graduation. Pose with the grandparents. Photo of them throwing their favourite fuckboy toy into the air, now forgotten much like their college education/courses? (I’m thinking gaming controllers but will also accept unconventional suggestions from the audience.) Then, when they did pull that whole, “that was the boy, this is the man” crap, you could be like “I HAVE SEEN THE PHOTOS. YOUR CAP SAYS CLASS OF 2019. YOU WENT THROUGH THE CHANGE IN FEBRUARY …

I don’t think we should label anyone as a ‘dumb bitch’ for choosing their partner earlier than we feel is correct? Kind of goes against your username? Maybe you’re just being flippant but it’s a bit cruel and patronising to women who probably fully believe they are making the right decision. Though I do agree that marriage at 20 is silly, especially considering males haven’t really matured yet and females are so busy being held back by society they probably haven’t even realised all their option…
