I always wanted to start my own lineage. Create a genetically gifted offspring by selecting a fertile mate. After reading into the truth about marriage, divorce, and parenthood though, it just doesn't seem prudent. Sounds like you are easily brainwashed

At what stage of your life, if any, did you stop being satisfied with casual relationships/"spinning plates" etc? and want to e.g. pass on your genes? You mean by simply removing the section referred to by yourself as "the sentence should work without the example"? Oh wow you're thick. Seriously, don't breed please.

A quick glance at your post history, you actually seem like a pretty great guy. A shame that you got brainwashed into self-selecting yourself out of the gene pool, although then again there are loads of fathers after 50 nowadays (I recall reading Hugh Grant was childless at 50 and then is now a father of three at 56)!
