Calibration is key. It just depends on the girl and whether you tend to say unintentionally dumb shit. But it sounds like being quieter is working for you so play around with it.

You aren't allowing yourself to have fun, and that's what is holding you back. But you control how your emotions affect your outer persona. Even if you were feeling like crap, you could've acted like you were having the best time of your life, then you could have at least danced and grinded with a couple girls, and you would've gone home in a significantly better mood. Your friends are doing better because they are allowing themselves to let loose.

It ultimately is a numbers game if you go out to chat up women for hours every night. For most of the users here, game isn't something seperated into a specific time slot. I don't decide not to approach a girl because I see her in the grocery store instead of a club. For most, they don't spend any time on specifically placing themselves in a pickup environment, they just live, and then when they see someone interesting they have the skills to successfully seduce that person. It's a numbers game …

Is it because some pickup gurus constantly prattle on about how "awesome" their lives are. I'm detecting a serious bias here. Whatever I'll try to help you understand. thereby redirecting from the fact that their achievements in life consist of meaningless sex obtained mainly by propositioning ("gaming") as many women as possible? What is meaningless sex to you exactly? Do you think it's wrong to be sexually active? Are you aware that many men have met their spouses because of "game"? sex obtain…

I never have any time to actually go out and practice. Experience is 75% of the reason for improvement in seduction. 3 years of reading and yet I still haven't done a SINGLE day approach. Never trying makes it a lot harder to succeed. You need to put seduction on the shelf for now and see a therapist. With you being well off and having less hours, you could really fix your anxiety issues for good. Find a counselor, psychologist, or psychiatrist who you can talk through your issues with. Cognitiv…

Sometimes I feel like TRP can make a few of us a little too paranoid. This is good behavior. Reward it by doing something comforting or funny back like drawing a heart around her face in dry erase marker or putting a badly photoshopped pirate lookalike picture in to replace it.

This has been answered before. Race matters some. By you can definitely still make it to the top 10% of men. I would say race probably matters the least compared to other things like height, muscularity, social skills, etc. Trust me, I have good friends who are black, half Asian, and middle eastern who get lots of quality women.

No. Absolutely not. You are in a buyer mindset, the seller mindset is for AFCs. Course of action would go like this: Does she have a less attractive friend with her? Engage both of them but flirt with the less attractive friend only. Make her jealous and she will enter that mindset of seeking your validation. Are there other guys fighting for her attention? Poke fun at them a little. Acknowledge how desperate they are. Is it a party? Open season on all of the girls who aren't getting attention! …

This is a diverse sub. People have varying goals here, there are guys who pursue long term relationships and guys that don't. Some of those guys who do it for one night stands do lead those girls on making them think it is going to lead to a relationship. I think for the most part, people come here for a specific girl, then they realize that it isn't actually a healthy outlook. Then they spend time shopping around and eventually they find someone who is a great fit for them.

Can anyone help explain the reason why some of the most happy go lucky guys I know get the most women? They are masculine and fit with a lot of TRPs ideals but they aren't stoic at all. They walk around with a smirk on their face a lot of the time and smile when they talk to people. Is it the motives behind it that are different? Or is this a topic (smiling and showing outward happiness being beta) that TRP hasn't come to a consensus on?

Get a list of polarizing, possibly offensive or self deprecating openers. Go out and open girls with these, most will take it badly. Try to come back with agree & amplify or something funny. Eventually you will have comebacks for 90% of what girls say. Insults can be surprisingly unoriginal. Also fat/ugly girls in clubs are some of the best trash talkers because of all that they have to deal with. Try doing a role reversal and see how they react. You might find some good comebacks.

If you want to debate them, act uninformed but with innocent intentions. Destroy their belief system by using the Socratic method of questioning. It's been used for millennia in philosophical contexts. Asking lots of questions will help you realize that 99% of people don't really have a real understanding of why they believe what they believe. And that you can easily make them see this by asking lots of innocent but penetrating, "why?" Kind of questions.

Slow yourself down. Move deliberately and give yourself 2 seconds extra to react to your environment. It's not so much time that you will seem strange, but other people will notice. A girl makes eye contact with you and your gaze lingers on her for 2 seconds, and you will seperate yourself from the crowd... It takes practice, but just try to actively engage in eye contact in public with everyone who is open and have a calm, warm demeanor underneath.

I think that the emotional rollercoaster is what will really bring out something memorable that she will cherish. So stacking the gift on top of another success will make it seem less great in comparison (i believe there is actually a study about how rewards are perceived as less great if they are preceded by some other positive event) You have to do that (emotional rollercoaster) without being beta. Ideally you would find a way to create some minor dread, uncertainty, and insecurity. And then j…

Being fit and muscular improves SMV, so that's a yes. In the workplace, do what you can to improve your chances of success. If doing unpaid overtime will move you closer to recognition or a promotion, then do it. Just because you aren't getting paid in $ doesn't mean you cant profit from it. You have to be smart and learn how to work the system you're in.

Look up kino escalation. My go-to when I'm 95% percent of the way into escalation and all that remains is to go for it, is this: Triangle gaze, look her in the eyes, then look at her lips, then back up to eyes. Then I say, "Wait." And maintain eye contact till she stops talking and I have her attention. And then slowly and deliberately lean in for the kiss. Works amazingly well.

Be affectionate on your own time, and don't do it because you are trying make up for some screw-up or argument you had. An alpha gives his validation and affection when he wants to. To someone who deserves it. If she's been good, there's nothing wrong with mailing her a package or calling her up on your own time. Edit: Also, remember the 2/3 rule, give back 2/3 of whatever positive validation she gives you, and she will feel safe but still wanting more.

Doing something you love and enjoy while being able to make a decent living is a huge blessing. 40-50k is decent money especially in your 20s. There are engineers starting there careers at barely more than that per year. Your career honestly sounds pretty alpha to me. You do what you love, don't get stressed out, and likely have a freer schedule to have fun more than most people. You're fine, but you could look into investing and passive income streams if you want more money.

You gain nothing by taking it seriously. It can be frustrating at first to give up control, but it gets better as you go along. Que sera, sera. Whatever will be will be. If she wants to cheat you can't stop her. You can minimize the situation by not reacting and showing her that you're value is high enough that cheating is too much of a risk. The point of doing loads of cold approaches is so it will become routine and you won't show outward signs of nervousness, and so you will be outcome independent (meaning the rejections have minimal affect on you). You will be more successful with complete cold approaches if you don't immediately open by asking for a number or instadate. You have a chance to build attraction before putting her on the spot. The reasons for doing them (at least for me) is because it kills the scariness for me, and …

The problem was you were putting her on the spot on front of her friends. Even if she was interested, she doesn't want to seem easy in front of them. Thus she rejected you. You needed to find a way to isolate her more or ask for her number less conspicuously.

Do you mean getting in state? I had a friend who was an average, slightly social guy, but he would be the life of the party when it mattered. Anytime there was a big event like a concert, house party, or art gallery opening he would kill it. It's amazing what you can accomplish when you start to care about the results instead of what people who dont matter think of you. Sure the average AFC will cringe and say "Wow, what a douchebag/creepo." But he's the one who hates his life because he's not getting any results.

I'm a big fan of Draper. I think they mainly show that side of him for character depth. Its more interesting to explore the life of a self made man with a dark, mysterious past, coming from nothing, and becoming one of the most successful and admired men in New York. His first wife is hotter, true. But I think Don disliked that she was a lackluster mother to his children. His second wife was much better with kids. Don Draper. Mad Men has had 7 seasons so they've broken down the character a bit and shown his emotional side for the sake of keeping people interested, but he is still an awesome example. He crushes tons of shit tests (and AMOGing, like that hippy dude from season 1) with slightly snarky, blunt replies that are good for inspiration. With this particular girl, I would just leave it alone. Move on and don't hold out for her. With the high school girls, it has been a few years so I think it would be fine to start over like you just met them. People can change a lot in 3 years.

It matters. But it's far from a be-all-end-all. Being short may make some girls reject you from the get go, but a 5'6 guy can still pull in the 8-10 range just like someone who's 6'0. Focus on bolstering your SMV in other areas (fitness, being charismatic, Having a good career, interacting with a wide social circle, etc) and you will do better than the 90% of men who wait for their unicorn to come instead of taking a proactive approach to dating and relationships.

My first breakup in my younger teens was a melt down. I was begging her not to leave me, then i went and badmouthed her to her friends, then I begged some more. It was awful. There are lots of pickup artists who are in particularly average shape. With that said, it's not an either or thing. You couldn't possibly be out gaming so much that you have literally ZERO time to workout. That would be upwards of 6-8 hours a day, 7 days a week. Is flaking on plans a shit test, Yes. is this something most attractive girls under 28 or so naturally do? Yes. They are not mutually exclusive. Every girl shit tests at least a little bit. What you're noticing is that the attractive girls react more harshely to shit tests that have been failed. If you asked for a strangers number and got it, you have to text first since they won't have yours. If you are talking about texting within a casual dating relationship where you know them then most people would say you only text first 25% of the time. For me I text first maybe 10% of the time after that initial hook.

The infield footage that I've seen is all at night, although not always inside or near clubs. That's probably because the footage is boring in comparison, it's not socially acceptable to start a make out in the middle of a coffee shop, so it's number closes mainly. Approach, approach, approach. The reason the mystery method sounds so idiotic and dated is because they didnt really have anyone to learn from or read. This may sound a bit canned and I'm not sure it's what you're looking for. but sometimes when a girl holds eye contact with me for a long time I walk up and say, "Staring contest. 1, 2, 3, go!" Either they immediately smile and break eye contact, or they will continue to hold eye contact (Prolonged eye contact builds attraction in opposite sex interactions according to a few studies) you can introduce yourself either way.

There is such a thing as LTR game. SoftHarem specifically mentioned TRP's goal to have LTR focused posts in 2014 in his new years post. I agree with another poster who said dating a fat chick can be like dating a smoker. I'd be forced to deal with a person who can't keep up with my physical activity, will probably die before me, and will cause even more health problems for themselves, plus me because they will probably want me to adapt to their lifestyle. In my opinion that makes it easier for betas to show interest indirectly, whereas alphas would approach you in person.
