So, jokingly calling my sister a slut is now a crime?

I get what you’re saying. But without having seen the show I think context here is important. It seems like it is portraying this kids’ dreams as he is going through puberty and beginning to get those ‘feelings’. I don’t know about you but at that age I definitely had dreams very similar. Putting the scene on screen is an interesting choice, but I don’t think it’s necessarily as inappropriate as one might first think given the context.

As an uncircumcised male, I can guarantee 99% of men who come of age with a foreskin will never willingly have it removed.

Got a house by myself. Is cooking and doing the laundry feminine? Oh god guys I might be gay because I look after myself

As an uncircumcised male, I honestly can’t fathom how uncomfortable it must be. Any time I’ve had a semi and my foreskin hasn’t gone back whilst being out the house and unable to adjust is just so extremely sensitive and borderline painful with it rubbing on my underwear. But you have that all the time? I truly feel sorry for you dude.

Change the world male to another category of people. “Black”. “Asian”. “Disabled”. Then you’ll understand the discrimination at hand here.

Going for a drink with someone doesn’t have to be romantic.

I’d love to know what happened too and perhaps comfort her in her trauma. But clearly - because I’m a man - she has no interest in sharing such tales

Maybe she is, but that ain’t no manifestation of depression.

Well that’s the thing. I didn’t know she was misandristic until now

But would you declare you’d rather slit your wrists in a bathtub than spend time with a woman? I doubt it.

I can see how you see it that way, but I guess you don’t really know the history of our friendship.

I responded (for the last time, I won’t be messaging her again) “thank you for violating mine.” This was after she unfriended me on all her socials 🤷‍♂️

Pull the foreskin back and it looks as if it was circumcised, except less scarred. How on earth could they prefer a circumcised one based on aesthetics only???

Since when was ‘rape’ a P word? OP was talking about labelling her as a pedophile, which she is.

I don’t need anything to make myself feel better. I am uncircumcised if that matters. You are literally just here to troll

Either you’re a circumcised male and are trying to cope, or you are a female who cannot comprehend.

26M here, single, but doing well for myself. The only thing I believe missing from my life is a partner. There is nothing more I want than to to get married and have my own family. Turns out people are different. Even within the same gender.

Simple answer; because he’s male. Simple as that. And that’s the awareness we need to raise, because that’s not right.

I’m not saying it’s wise. But the comment I replied to suggested they were the boss of a team and would tell their team to avoid that situation. Which is wise advice, but my point is, a manager/boss has no grounds to actually stop anything happening.

But at the same time… what two people do outside the workplace is not of the bosses concern. I totally get if they are flirting during their working time and it is counter-productive as a result. But on break then managers and bosses should have no say in what goes on.

Don’t worry about what other people are doing when it cones to women, and focus on what you are doing. I’ve found it avoids feelings of envy or jealousy

Exactly. If gender doesn’t matter, the standards should be the same. You are physically capable of the role or not, regardless of your gender. If a woman has lower standards, that suggests the role can be performed by those who meet those standards, so why have higher standards for men? Absolutely disgusting and discriminatory towards men.

I absolutely despise false accusers. But how would this go through the court system? If say a sexual assault case is found not guilty in court, does that then mean you’d have to try the accuser?

The tradition is still around from when it was tradition for men to work and woken to stay home. That tradition is dead, and so too should the tradition of the man paying for everything

How about split the difference? Raise women’s and lower men’s by the same amount so that they are equal. Women lose out on 3 years of pension entitlement, but from the government’s perspective, it will cost the same as it was before because that money can go toward giving men an extra 3 years worth of pensions

This baffles me. It’s fine for people to hold their views and make their decisions on whether or not they personally want children. BUT As a man, it’s actually something I’m quite envious of women for - the god given gift of being able to make another human and giving birth. To me it really is a miracle. People like this take that gift for granted.

(In the UK at least,) women cannot rape anyone by the legal definition of the word. Which is abhorrent in my opinion. I’ve written to my MP petitioning to change the definition but it was met with the response that women are charged with sexual assault that carries the same maximum penalties. Except…. The severity of it is not communicated well to the public. Sexual assault can range from something as relatively minor as groping all the way up to forcing sex - for a women at least. Which is, to …

I was mugged when I was 14, on a very familiar road to me, just off the main road (I could see the main road but people on the main road wouldn’t necessarily see us). That life experience has definitely shaped how I perceive things today. And it has definitely had a toll on my relationship with my family, too, which may be surprising.

As a Brit, I am offended that she is being called one, too. She may have citizenship, but she clearly is not from here, and must have a dual nationality (sounds Indian), so why they can't say that she's Indian is weird.

That was exactly the point I made. It wasn't a rape case anyway. We had witnesses in our case, which doesn't always happen with rape. My main argument against her was "innocent until proven guilty". I didn't think there was enough evidence to prove, without a shadow of a doubt, that the guy touched this woman sexually. Like I said, I thought maybe something happened, but maybe not what was being claimed. If there is not enough evidence, you have to go with the not guilty verdict. That's the law …

I was on a jury one time on a trial of sexual harassment. I am a man. It was a woman claiming a man touched her. I thought something happened, but not as the witnesses described because there were very few details. When we went to the jury room to discuss, we first went round and asked who thought he was guilty and who not. Out of the 12 of us, two were undecided and I was the only one saying not guilty. I had the argument about switching sexes etc. and not to be sexist. In the end I managed to …
