Just a matter of perspective. My half sister, when she was in the Army, when the PT test came and she failed it, she would ask the ranking officer overseeing the test if when his wife goes into labor, will it matter to him if she was able to get over the wall or do however many sit-ups, pull-ups, ect. Yep, she was an obstetrician. Always passed the test after that. Just saying.

Last I checked, having sex, involves two consenting adults. If a female believes that sex with a male places her in a subordinate role, she has the choice not to consent. She could also choose to consent and not be subordinate, but rather equal or dominate. Funny how you never hear a gay male bottom complaining that sex with another male makes him feel subordinate. As long as single mother's continue to sign off to have their newborn male children, it's is unlikely. Women do not perceive circumcision as genital mutilation. A former co-worker of mine form another country where circumcision is not the norm, told me that when his son was born he had to repeatedly make it clear that absolutely no circumcision was to occur without his signature, which he had no intention of providing.

Interesting case and not all to surprising that the women on the jury were quick to assume guilt, I'm guessing that they probably tuned out through most of the trial and thus didn't hear what the male jurors heard. Understood however by suggesting rape/sexual assault, you are projecting. In my experience, when feeling distressed/confused, it's best to find and learn the lesson in the experience, in his case, drinking to the point of blackout out and inviting someone over, is not going to end well. Not to trivialize his state of mind but the sooner he learns the lesson and moves on, and avoids the whole chick 'I'm a victim' mentality, the better.
