But if I just act fun and tell her I'm hanging out with a friend and I have to go, then she won't understand that her behavior is bad. She will just assume that I'm actually busy and not cutting the convo short because I'm losing interest

he moment you start to entertain her and listen to her talk about this, you enter her desired frame, the one of her being this in demand prize. Again, ignore. This. I like this. Don't acknowledge, say little as possible. Because reacting would mean entering her frame. thanks Each time she says these things to you, she risks loosing you. How do I make her realize this? That there's risk in losing me if she continues to communicate with other men who are clearly interested in her (even though she …

Then what you're suggesting is that there is no good action to take.

Ok, so next time she tells me about it (usually on the phone) i'll cut the convo short and say I need to get some sleep, then pull back attention. She should be able to put two and two together if i do that

But how can she associate my withdrawal of attention with her replying to these guys? She could interpret it as anything: me losing interest, or punishing her for something unrelated

since you allowed her to secure your commitment (even if only in her mind) so quickly without having to earn it. Yes that was a mistake. I even went into dating her with the thought that I'm going to make her earn it. But pillow talk makes me weak. Lesson learned.

She's immature and wants to have her cake and eat it too. You're right. Perhaps if she mentions her ex texting her again then I'll straight up ask her: "Why are you still communicating with your ex who clearly wants you back?".

Think I should even comment on her continuing to reply to these guys or express disapproval? Would that show weakness? She is telling them that I am in the picture, but still replies.

Is this typical BPD behavior? She hasn't love bombed yet. But she does talk about the future a lot already: about how we'll spend next year's xmas together, traveling to her home country, moving in together eventually, about being willing to have kids if it's what I want etc.. All within 3 weeks. And she asked if it's okay to call me every night before bed, every night. I'm not familiar with BPD signs..

This sounds about right. She did express that she liked how I handled it when she told me about it, and was surprised. But it's annoying that she's not ghosting these guys or telling them to gtfo.

Problem is if I tell her to stop telling me, then it doesn't change much. Her orbiters and ex will continue to pursue and text even though she told them she's dating someone, and I'll never know what's going on. Last girl I dated acted the same way, and I responded with a bit of insecurity which I think I learned from.. Is it reasonable to expect her to stop replying to these guys? Even though she sees the guy in her gym class there often, and the hair stylist in her hair salon. I'd expect her t…
