How to tell me you've never been intimate with a woman without telling me you've never been intimate with a woman.

They aren't struggling to get into relationship now. Everyone struggle to find the one to some degree. Always has.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 12:44 PM

There is only a difference of one hour a day between men and women, so why that wouldn't be true for men too?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 12:41 PM

The original question wasn't if it was worse or not a lot but just if the majority was struggling. The majority is doing fine.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 12:40 PM

40% of men in relationships + <10% of men don't want to have a relationship = <50% of men not struggling in dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 12:31 PM

No, if 60 % of men are single, that means that you only need 10% of them to not be interested in being in a relationship for it to means that most men aren't struggling. Or do you believe more than 90% of men want to be in a relationship? Now you're making an assumption.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 12:28 PM

The claim is that we can't make a claim about male struggle with that figure and that OP article is sound. Most men aren't struggling with dating. Men who are feels like the majority is experiencing what they are experiencing. I never had trouble to find a girlfriend and every male I know either. But I keep reading on reddit that it's impossible.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 12:09 PM

I think some part struggle and some part don't want a relationship. The figure of 60 % single don't include people who have sex and are dating. You can have sex every week without being in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 12:03 PM

What does actually means though. Does that means that most men stuggle with dating? No. That a significant part does? Yes.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 12:03 PM

No, the assumptions are made by those that believe that means that majority of mens are struggling in the dating world. The fact that almost half are in a relationship pretty clear means that only a minority is struggling.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 11:44 AM

Being single don't mean you're struggling. Among those 63% who are single, how many want to remain single? How many had dates and hookups in the past year? How many have FwB? Etc

Natural is such a useless category. Plenty of very natural behaviors are harmful. And natural for what ? Procreation? Is it what DiCaprio is doing?

Lmao , first sentence of the abstract: "Women living at the edge of poverty often find themselves attracted to ‘dangerous’ men." Mmh real smoking gun here. Move along

I've read it when you shared it and it was irrelevant. "Women love violent men" ≠ "Women from low social economical background shows preference for risk taker".

It's absolutely not an innate preference. If you're going to make some grand claim, back it up. It's funny how you add "attractive" BPD when talking about men preference but just leave "violent" when talking about women preference. Broken men and women do both of those things, normal human are not attracted to either BPD or violent behavior, they are repulsive.

I never saw a blue pillers claim that wanting a masculine man was defective. Except if by masculine you mean bad, violent or anything of the sort. But wanting a protective, kind, strong and tall man is pretty much widespreadly accepted as the mainstream ideal masculine figure.

So their argument is that wanting a serial killer is just "normal human nature" ? It's hell of a circular non sensical argument: "women really don't care about nice guys! Looks at the serial killer fandom, it really reveal how evil women really are" => "this is not a normal woman behavior" => "Uhhhh the misoginy !!!"

The biggest one is that women are "essentially materialistic and not driven by romantic love"... while they are all getting scammed by pick up artist boot camp that sell them the sex doll / maid / mom they dream about.

What are you stats about people leaving the apps ? Because it's user base is constantly growing and the number of people in relationship thanks to app is constantly growing (it's 10% in the US https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2023/02/02/key-findings-about-online-dating-in-the-u-s/)

Sorry I mixed you up with another convo on the same topic. To answer your previous question, it's half half I know men and women that found relationship on there. But both struggled on the app for different reason. For women, it look like an ocean of match but with no filter at all. Imagine connecting and having one hundred people spamming you constantly, most of them being weird AF or just not answering at all. And for men, yes it's a desert but usually the one you match with are actually inter…

So you believe I'm lying about the app working for millions of people every months and me knowing actual people that married out of those ?

bro i'm not your coach but i would look into accountability because you first blamed the app, then me, than the users of said apps.

It's ok if you can't manage success on those. It's not for everyone, no need to be sour about it :)

That's like, your experience. It still don't change the facts that it works for the majority of users and it's why it's so popular. I know multiple people that married from there.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 07:12 PM

Because men spam like bots. It doesn't change the fact that millions of relationship happen thank to those apps every months. It's hard for women too because they are spammed by men who are not really interested, or just want sex.

Dating apps are one hundred time better and more likely to give you a relationship than going to a bar/club. There are millions of relationship/marriage that happen in apps every months. I know people who married from the apps but I don't know anyone who met their wife at the club

I found a source about it, according to that survey about Americans, only 37% kept a friendship with ANY of their exes. So it means the default mode is to not keep the friendship, regardless of reason (https://today.yougov.com/society/articles/44073-do-americans-stay-friends-with-their-exes-poll) But of course a healthy relationship ended on common ground is more likely to end in subsequent friendship, but even though I wouldn't want it.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 03:21 PM
3

You have your anecdotal evidences and I have mine. The people I know who kept their ex as friends tend to keep everyone, including the one who cheat on them. And the vast majority don't keep any ex in their lives at all, because they cannot make a friend out of an ex partner. And vice versa. I'm like that 🤷
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 03:12 PM
5

Not at all. The default mode for most people is to not stay friends, regardless of why the relationship ended.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 03:01 PM
3

I never said it was, but it's part of it
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 03:00 PM
3

Nope, I just consider a life partner a superior kind of connection than friendship. I couldn't be a partner to any of my friends and I wouldn't want a friendship from my partner. There is a reason why people usually don't stay friends with their exes. Stop making ad hominem attack and focus on the arguments. It's grating.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 01:49 PM
3

Because the life partner role is more important and valuable than friendship. I wouldn't want my partner to be my friend. It's too less for her.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/25 01:37 PM
4

Mmh no. It's the romantic / life partner part. The friendship part is only an aspect. Not the biggest one imo. And even then I'm not even sure we could call it a friendship since it's so different from it.

I was the one who started commenting on the 4 plate and 16 partners. I was responding only about this. I'm a regular gym goers and it's hard to not notice the improvement of attractivness and how people react. It's obvious that it make you more attractive. Also more sex ≠ more partners.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 01:50 AM
1

I spoke about gym rat, not gym goer. the original comment i was replying to was about a correlation between being able to lift extremely heavy weight and having more than 16 partners during their lifetime. Try to read carefully before commenting. Going to the gym and trying to improve your apparence is normal and everyone should do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/10/25 12:48 AM

Of course there is a correlation. If you spend most of your free time trying to look good and "max looking" there is a chance that you're more superficial than baseline. You're the only one using derogatory words like "sluttier". I don't believe male in average would sleep to +16 people but they don't just because lack of opportunities. Most male still search for romantic love, they don't "setttle for it".
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 04:09 PM

There is no data of the same men before they got muscular vs after. My point is that men that are gym rat tend to be more into hookup and superficial than the rest. Most men are not looking for the maximum amount of hookup that they can get, most people (men and women) don't enjoy hookup really. It's like saying that going to the nightclub make you more attractive because people who go to the nightclub tend to have more hookups than people that go to the library. My objection is not about the da…
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 03:19 PM

You go below your own attractivness range. Anyone can do it. You're always attractive for many people, the issue is that you're usually not attracted to them because men tend to have an inflated sense of their own attractiveness.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/10/25 03:55 AM

You can't really measure attraction by the number of partners you had. Anyone can easily have 16 partners in a year. The important part is to actually attract the partner you want. It might also be that guys focused on their muscle tend to have a player lifestyle rather than real success. But you're right, women love muscle. But it won't save a man ugly face or ugly personality, hence the difference of rating accross gender.

You told it yourself: it told you what you need to know about this person. You don't need to have everyone to like you because not everyone is. You just have to find the one person that you will love and that will love you. Similarly with friends. You can be truly happy with 1 love partner and 3 friends out of 7 billion people. Most people don't care about virginity seriously but the most common reaction in front of anomaly is curiosity or fear. You have entire societies where being virgin in yo…

I'm almost 40, and I never considered the sex life of my friends to be relevant to my friendship to them. I literally never heard someone thinking a person was a bad friend for not getting laid. I also know virgins in their 30s that have tons of friends. Litteraly nobody cares, and nobody ought to know your sex life anyway. If anything, a fair number of people don't like very promiscuous people. I suggest therapy because you clearly have something else going on. You

Look up rape statistics and let me know if you would feel comfortable in their shoes, walking around people who want to rape you and have two time your muscular strength. If anything, I think they tend to downplay it. The amount of things they normalized on a daily basis is staggering, and we don't see 10% of it because most men harass only women when they are alone

Any source for women "emotionally cheating more than men"? Because we have gendered source and men cheat more than woman pretty much consistently.

It's normally a conversation that you have before starting a relationship, if one of is asexual. It's like being against having kids. It's not "holding something against your partner", it's about having boundaries and knowing what you want out of a relationship. If holding hands and cuddle satisfy you romantically, great, but for the vast majority of us, it ain't.

Wanting to have a fulfilling and happy sex life is not a lack of self-control. Lack of self-control would be accepting such a situation without wanting it in the first place.

There are prenuptial agreements.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/07/25 04:49 AM

I think ideally women would want a man like that that would also be nice. What redpill fails to understand is that there is no dichotomy. They believe that women don't want nice because they want tall and handsome, who can also be asshole, while them (not tall and not handsome) are nice but cannot find a girlfriend. Nice is enough for friendship, but the whole package is necessary for a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 11:40 AM

My point is precisely that sexual fantasies don't have the implication that op is trying to make. It's not because women have sexual fantasies about dominant men that they want a dominant boyfriend or husband. In the same way, many men fantasies about women being promiscuous and hypersexual but usually looks for the exact opposite for relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/07/25 08:33 AM

So? What's the point? It's mostly the guys who are sour about not being picked that believe that just "being nice" is enough. Are you attracted by a "nice" chubby and ugly girl? Why it would be different for them? And also sexual fantasies are not really relevant for mate selection. Even in the bsdm community, they don't really want danger. They want the thrill of controlled danger that give you the right amount of adrenaline. Or do you believe that people who enjoy roller-coaster have suicidal …
