Here's the thing-- people are meant to learn their own lessons in life and they either could take the advice of others or not. It seems like your friend will learn all these things on her own when she comes to her own epiphanies. You cannot force her to "wake up." Your concerns are valid but there's nothing you could do to break them up. It's up to you whether you want to stay in this friendship. I don't think you should go the "extreme" by cutting her off completely without explanation (IMO tha…

What you’re saying about all these women trying to “fit in with the crowd” is human nature in general. There are people of both genders who desire a sense of belonging and aren’t “leaders” in that aspect. There are also people who have an individualized set of interests and sense of self. It seems like you’re attracted to girls who have that “instagram look.” How are you different from most guys? I’m a woman (27F) and I have zero thirst traps on my private IG, and neither do my other female frie…

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I don’t think it’s a red flag as long as the guy has at least 1-2 good friends. When I mean “good friends”, I’m talking genuine, close fulfilling friendships (which get harder to come by!). Quality > quantity. I do think it’s a red flag if a guy has no friends or sense of community. But 1 genuine friend is way better than a group of guys who are just drinking or hang out buddies.

I remember reading an interview with Asa Akira where she mentioned her exes thought it was cool to date a pornstar (her) until they fell in love. After real feelings were involved, they couldn’t handle her being a pornstar

Not as many desperate men as you think… guys I know that rarely have options draw a hard line when it comes to dating sex workers.

There’s a difference between hedonism and the ability to attain a woman of a particular caliber. It is disgusting if a man has a high body count yet most of those women are obese or unattractive. It almost “doesn’t count.” It’s funny how you’re almost parroting the exact talking points of Myron and Rollo. I know plenty of women who could sleep with a man without any emotions involved. What you said about inexperienced men applies to inexperienced women, as well. Again, I know many woman who chea…

I do believe in both doctrines. That’s the key— BOTH. Not just one. To parrot one doctrine as if it’s the Bible is the main issue/criticism.

It seems like you’re not liking the honest answers women are giving. Contrary to the red pill doctrine, there are many women who do care about body count in a man, especially the women with low body counts.

Hmm I’d give him a chance but only if he’s gone through a long period of self-growth and had time in between casual sex versus pursuing a serious, monogamous relationship. I’d also only give him a chance if he has broken ties with his past (ex: Not friends with exes or past hookups, doesn’t club/party anymore, isn’t close friends with players). However, I’d still be very cautious and look for signs of wandering eyes, flirtation with women and how he approaches his boundaries with the opposite se…

Yes. Because you cannot solely blame one gender on the state of the apps, as both genders play a part in perpetuating the negative stereotypes. I won’t stoop to your level with your ad hominem attacks. Hope you find some happiness in your life!

Hahaha thanks for the upvote. And honestly, it depends on the type of sexual attention because if it’s fetish-y, predatory, downright creepy or in the wrong context (like work) then that isn’t as flattering (ex: getting stalked, having pick up artists follow you, someone showing up to your house, etc). But compliments on an app designed for dating where you’re not in physical danger and it’s not what I listed above? It is validating to know you are wanted and desired, especially if it’s somethin…

I see what you’re saying (at least I think lol). To be candid, yes, I could do that if I were single but what gives the high is getting the match and receiving tons of messages a day with compliments. You see, even though I don’t respond to men who want to use me as a free prostitute, it is a high to see then start off with compliments of them telling me I’m beautiful (even though I know it’s to smash lol). So that’s why girls stay on tinder, whether they want to admit it or not ☠️. I will say, …

I mean, I wasn’t really annoyed and I don’t understand where that perspective comes from? I was sharing my perspective to OP since he’s upset women don’t respond to him. But I never spent any of my waking hours feeling annoyed, I have better things to do and plenty of attention from men who wanted my attention😂. I was basically stating to OP that I just honored my own personal boundaries and stopped responding to guys that weren’t looking for something genuine. I didn’t shame them, cuss them out…

I was on Tinder for attention and validation, plus I did get a few nice dates from guys looking for something serious. And nah, it ain’t on me because I still met a few wonderful guys and one even developed into a long term relationship on tinder. Instead of getting angry and ranting about these men on Tinder, I just avoided the guys who were only looking for casual sex. Most women get 15+ new messages a day if they’re actively swiping. Do you think anyone has time to read all those messages?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/23 06:04 AM

What is your intention of using tinder? Because when I was single, 95% of guys would message me and eventually ask me to come over and have sex with them or hint to a fwb/casual relationship. I wasn’t for that. If these men are willing to just see me as a sex object and expect me to be intimate with them without wanting to commit to a relationship eventually (let alone try to get to know me as a person), then of course I’ll be choosy with who I respond to. Because most men are looking for sex on…

Attraction is one thing, yes. It’s a normal human feeling. Unfortunately, like you said, the guy friends who were attracted would violate my personal space and ask to hookup multiple times despite me having a boyfriend. I had to cut them loose since it was disrespectful to my partner

Hmm true. Most women in my circle have the same issue, so i was speaking on that. Happy for you though! It’s nice to have friends of both genders :)

Yes, although it’s rare. I’m a 26F and only have one genuine and platonic guy friend. The reason it works is because he’s not attracted to me at all and I’m not his type. He’s also very picky when it comes to women he’s romantically interested in and doesn’t like hookups, which is how he could have many female friends. Other guys either have wanted to date or sleep with me, which is unfortunate. I tried to be friends with my current partner and he ended up falling in love with me so 🤣

I do care about a man’s body count. Similar to women (but maybe not as frequent), if the amount of sexual partners they have are abnormally high then there’s a higher likelihood of a wandering eye and inability to pair bond. Every guy I’ve known with 20+ bodies was not fully loyal when they got into committed relationships. They would flirt with other women or their past hookups while in relationships. Even though I am wary of virgins because they may want to “try something else”, I’ve had the m…

I don’t know if I’m the exception, but if my partner is ever sad or upset about something (doesn’t happen too often), my first instinct is to comfort him and love him to pieces. I have never felt turned off by a man being vulnerable in itself— it’s been a turn off in the past when they lacked self sufficiency and were totally codependent on me, but if they were independent people that had external issues then I wanted to come in and help. My ex would complain a lot and he was super stressed for …

I see what you mean, where the attractiveness gets you in the door. But I think women are way more complex outside a dating app environment. I think short or “unattractive” men would do better meeting women IRL. I would never have swiped right on my partner if it was hinge or tinder back then and he knows it. I had other suiters taller, richer and more “conventionally attractive” than him but I cut all of them off to pursue him because he was that much of an amazing man. I was not attracted to m…

I actually dated a tall, attractive autistic guy (he has Aspergers) and it was a very difficult experience as we got more serious. He was committed and faithful but really couldn’t meet my emotional needs. He had a hard time empathizing or understanding the social cues to help me feel better when I was sad or make ‘me feel loved. I met him on a dating app so the initial meeting was based on physical attraction. Ironically, I’m now dating a short guy (he’s 5’4 and I’m 5’7). We met at a remote wor…

I’ve had guy friends tell me (and asked me to keep it confidential) that they would sleep with “fat girls” because they were “easier” and they were super horny. But of course they would never tell anyone nor want to actually commit/date a “fat girl” because it’s not their ideal preference.

I think they’re abrasive and one-dimensional thinkers. Their drive and ambition is admirable, but they are very set on their perspective of men and women because Myron even said it’s easier to navigate the world through black and white thinking. Also I find them to be rude and patronizing to their guests. They have a perception of women as if they’re bears or cats that will behave one way all the time rather than recognizing that human beings are complex creatures.

I’ll give my perspective as a woman who’s slept with 10+ men (I had casual relationships in college). I do admit that it caused me to detach quickly with men, not focus on one person at a time and caused me to have a wandering eye. I realized how unhealthy these behaviors were and decided to be celibate for a bit until I met my ex. I was able to reprogram myself to be monogamous not just tangibly, but mentally and with my energy. I was committed to my ex for 1.5 years (it was a serious relations…

I agree. They like to claim they’re not sexist because they “appreciate women” (I’ve watched his and Tristan Tate’s interviews extensively), but it’s based on what a woman can provide to them from an image standpoint. They’re so set on the idea that all women are meant to be submissive, demure, affectionate, monogamous and maternal and that women who aren’t like this are the extreme exception or overly traumatized. They defend their one-sided relationship bullshit by backing men and women outdat…

The Tate mindset isn’t JUST about going to the gym, achieving financial successful and having a strong masculine protector/provider energy. The Tate mindset also includes preferring a girl who’s younger, preferably a virgin who doesn’t have a ton of life experience/need to work, and occasionally cheating on your partner yet expecting loyalty from the woman after achieving financial status. I’ve watched a LOT of Tate content out of cursorily so I know what I’m talking about. Good job trying to ma…

So sorry to hear that. I know some people think it’s chill for their partners to keep in touch with exes or past flings, but there is still a history/energy there that is difficult to revert from. Kind of messed up how the women didn’t care, says a lot about them 😳. I do not sleep with guy friends or go in the non-platonic because I wouldn’t want their future gfs to feel uncomfortable and would want to be their friend too. You hit the nail on the head. They’re obviously using the quantity of their sexual partners to fuel their ego or self-worth, which is an unhealthy subconscious framework to have whilst in a monogamous relationship. What happens when you can’t validate yourself through women anymore? Ugh and the whole sleeping with female friends thing is a 🚩. My cousin dated a guy with a 200+ body count and he was a serial cheater with a wandering eye. 200+ is excessive and shows hedonistic tendencies which are hard to shake off. If you want to decrease the likelihood of infidelity, I would run. I understand 30 or even 50 bodies, but 200 is a lot.

I have PCOS and used to be overweight. To combat this, I started counting every single calorie for 5 years (from 18 to 23) and lost around 10 lbs every year. I have been down to 125 lbs at 5’7 for the past 3 years. I’m also a vegan. Point is, it’s possible. I had hormonal issues that were causing me to be overweight but fixed it through trial and error. People can do it through effort. Sometimes the right foods can heal your body.

To be frank, a lot of men will have sex with most women. But when it comes to relationships, many successful men have specific standards. Maybe she’s coming across “too easy”, or she’s just in the category of women to sleep with. Why does it matter what her past is if: 1) She’s not in touch with anyone she’s slept with, had romantic feelings for or dated. 2) She’s a faithful partner now that doesn’t seek out validation and attention from men. Believe it or not, it’s possible for people to change. Your post reeks of insecurity, obsessiveness and the desire to control.
