Brother i am so glad you got out of it. I seriously am. When my ex wife went to another country to study, i felt so fucking happy. And then the reality soon hit me that she will be back soon. That's when i decided it was time to divorce her. I was walking on eggshells all the time with her and she never apologized for countless times she belittled me or made me suffer. Dude I took my wife on a trip four-five months after the honeymoon. Last month I went on a trip with my friends and every time we talked over phone, it felt like I was talking to a corpse. She said she missed me a lot but she couldn't understand that I was going to come back in 4 days. The entire trip was ruined and the funny part is that I didn't even tell her that because I knew it would start a fight.

Thank you so much for taking out some time to write all this. You're right. She says that she loves me a lot and i know this is draining me, but then whenever i think about divorcing her the thought come,that maybe i should give her chance or that she loves me a lot she might do something bad to herself after hearing the news.

Ever since we got married, she used to get mad or have a mood off due to small reasons, things that didn't matter. But i still tried my best to make her feel happy. Like i have explained in my comments as well, mental peace matters the most to me and for that, i always try to make her happy so that she doesn't get mad to destory my mental peace. And no, i dont think so she feels pressure to keep me happy.

Yes we have talked about it but i don't see it working. It's been a year since we got married, i took her on a beautiful honeymoon and 5 months later i took to another hilly area for a vacation. But then last month i had plans of going on a trips with my close friends, she didnt talk to me the entire time. Even when i was there and tried talking with her over the phone, it felt like i was talking to a dead person. No emotions.

I hope things work out for you, sir. And yes, this is something that has crossed my mind. Not having kids can make things easier for now. The problem is that she hates it when i spend some time with my friends. We fought several times at first and then she was "fine i can go". But the problem is that i feel scared whenever go out and check the time always because i know if i go over 2 hours, we might have a fight. It is 2 hours at max daily. Since i am a freelancer, i devote my time to her as well. We watch movies, eat food together and do other stuff. I have told her that i don't go to office, but me being a social person, it is important i go out. Even after fights, i started spending about 1 hour with friends before coming back home.
