Okay so now you and her show massive bias worthy of immediate dismissal, well done, your her, only male and on the other side of the fence, just as much of a problem, just as toxic to every side.

There's no reason to judge the child's needs as more important than the mother or father. More important no, more urgent certainly, people can live on a reduced salary, a child can't grow properly without substantial food. It is someones problem and the way things are now are better then anyway I can think of them. The only reason people do, is because of moralizing that children are somehow more special. Unable to walk or talk or lift their head up, not special. There is a biological basis for …

I took a look the study (http://people.terry.uga.edu/mustard/sentencing.pdf) cited on the image and "First, after controlling for extensive crimino- logical, demographic, and socioeconomic variables" would give hope that included in that are convictions of the same type rather the differing. This is not surprising, people do tend to go easier on woman. Also, the system is full of interesting statistics, there is a 15% difference in conviction rate of rapists depending on whether the judge is mal…

Well let me give you a few hints: I'm going to fucking love this. She was endorsed by Gloria Steinem and has called herself a feminist trailblazer. I'll take your word on that. So I highly doubt she went into her research with a neutral mind here. If you think she is biased beyond what is acceptable then okay, she reads like she is. But what does that have to do with the fact that it isn't proper to accuse someone without evidence and doing so is doing exactly what she is accused of doing, ignor…

Why should that be obvious, though? A baby is less potential in a society than a ready to work adult man or woman. They're a loss until they start producing something of value, which takes ages. I guess you could call them investments, but what if they get in a car accident, get cancer, or otherwise become a drain on the system? I don't think the legal system takes into account the contribution to society potential that a 1 month old baby makes, rather, who is the victim(s) in all this and what …

You suggest that I accuse her of either lying or doing an extremely bad job? I don't know who else is working for her or who helped her with the research, I wouldn't say either of of things about people I don't know. It doesn't take incorrect research to come to this result, if indeed there was any research at all, it would just take men and women wording things differently and someone thinking that two categories should come from that. Bullshit conclusion of course but we don't know whether the…

You'd have to be a fucking self-loathing masochist to be a 'male ally' to feminism. Not really, you'd just need to pick up a dictionary and have a broader experience of whether [most people on the street] agree with the dictionary definition of feminism and equality or not. It really isn't that hard, people who claim to be feminists who aren't interested in equal rights are feminists, by definition.

All the comments in this thread fail to mention the reason things are the way they are. The court has three people to consider, the mother, the father, and a new born baby. Hopefully it should be obvious that the court rules in favour of what is in the best interests of the new born baby. You can't satisfy everyone, and I don't say that snarkily, I mean it you really can't have an outcome that everyone is happy with, the one that should be considered most though is the baby that had even less sa…

I think it would be based on collecting as many written experiences as possible by men and creating an average or field from that, then comparing that with the same done for women. Edit: Anyone mind explaining the the dislike? The question was how can someone hold that kind of opinion about men and women experiencing something like this differently? The only logical answer would be canvas as many victims both men and women that you can and see how they respond differently to questions. I don't k…

you're allowing someone that has proven they'll knowingly have sex with a child to remain free to do so You make it sound like nothing happened to her. She has been added to the sex offenders registry, that is quite a life ruiner, it is illegal for her to approach or interact with young boys in anyway. The sentence was suspended in light of her IQ. She certainly deserves all she got and jail time too, but you make it sound like much different then it really is.

Add to the list of people who shouldn't be silenced, Tori who also claims sexual assault, and he lost his job after the editor received multiple claims from other women. That is the editors decision. It is the editors decision and it won't be based on evidence, because rape and sexual assault rarely leaves any evidence, especially in the porn industry. Not saying that is then okay, I'm saying there is no okay in this situation.

It is more then perfectly understandable that if someone was raped, they don't want to be constantly told what an awesome person he is to their face whilst keeping their mouth shut about the truth. Everyone seems to be gushing over one unconfirmed womans report that it didn't happen, but when they hear another womans report that it did happen suddenly it must be a lie. We don't know the truth. Neither of those women, nor the man involved should be silenced.

There is no point in going to the police when you know there is no evidence, it wouldn't even make it to the prosecutor let alone judge. The reasons she gave for saying what she said was that she didn't want fans to gush about how great this guy is to her face. Of course we won't know the truth either way, but the explanation is fine.

My experiences of people are the polar opposite of this, and I guess we both have statistics and evidence we've seen. Nothing to do about that I guess. universities and other institutions do have batshit rules about this kind of thing, I'd argue they are against women as much as men, no one on mensrights talks about the same thing happening but the other way around, that is how tribes of people are. And I'm been conservative for the sake of been agreeable.

All the top comments are supportive, there is no problem here. News at ten, some people are crazy, some of those crazy people are women.

It's like asking how do you walk alone if someone might mug you at any moment. Any interaction with another human carries risk. The number of people who are crazy are extremely low and this is very rare. People die in cars in the tens of thousands every year, and who knows how many more injured. Sometimes people pick out a particular thing, like here being falsely accused of rape, or over their, been raped and worry over it so much it grows out of all proportion. Don't be like the women who refu…

Most of them pushing 'regret as rape' should be changed to a small minority of them. In the same way a small minority of feminists are delusional and label every third man a rapist or some other overblown nonsense some people label 'most' feminists as delusional in the opposite direction, the amount of these people on both sides is actually quite small. Crazy people talk more, and talk louder.

You are making a conclusion, I wasn't. I was pointing out that the statement In the US, at least, men have no civil rights when it comes to sexual assault situations. If not in the letter of the law, then in the practice of it. Is something I'd like to contest. But you said you could just as easily say that 88% to 94% of cases are false reports (not only attempts at conviction because that isn't what we are talking about) but reports without attempt at prosecution are falsely made. How would you…

Perhaps so, I find the idea of entities outside the Government setting up anything like courts or 'procedures' to be very worrying. *However, the point is; is In the US, at least, men have no civil rights when it comes to sexual assault situations. If not in the letter of the law, then in the practice of it. True or false, and I claim false. There are incidents of injustice, plenty of them, including Women getting expelled for filing reports of rape, to say it is so one sided I claim is bs.

I believe the number of reported rape cases ending in conviction is somewhere like 6%-12%. This does not sound like a 'men have no civil rights' situation.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
