i used to have what i think was mild depression for about 2 years (not diagnosed but i had all the symptoms, sorry to sound like a fatass tumblr girl) , but i got out of it by thinking differently, not taking shit so personally, and not comparing myself to people. i considered suicide a few times, but it was never bad enough that i would really have done it. i think most women in that situation would've either subconsciously or intentionally used it for attention and "attempted" suicide.
