Yes. They’re not your friend. They just can’t handle being alone, or need something to vent, that’s why they run back then leave the second their man calls again.

Ron is no different than Ross, from Friends. The outdated Hollywood mindset, "loser gets the trophy-girl" which would be Hermione and it's the outdated, "if a boy pulls your ponytail, and treats you bad, he likes you!" (Not true.) He treats her like a twat, just downright awful and when she needs him the most, he walks out on her out of insecurity, and jealously. Which is a repeated theme in the books. He comes back later, sure, but that isn't fully redeeming because this cycle happens all the t…

He really did, J.K doesn't know how to write romances.

In the first few books, the possibility of Harry and Hermione is absolutely there. A few books after, J.K kills the potential, and even herself says years later she regretted it, in order to fulfill youth wish fulfillment. The official pairing is awful, and illogical. Ron is a crappy person. They would never even make it in the long run.

I can't remember that moment, but then again there was a lot of moments where she was really proud of him. There was also a time where she didn't like him hanging around Luna, saying he's too good for her. She seems Harry highly, and potentially wise too.

Harry should of ended up with Hermione.

It is bare minimum, and this is reason why FDS thrives, because men get away with it all with absolute ease. Once again, let me go back to my celebrity example. Justin Bieber gets away with everything. One Direction isn't even that good looking men, they're like average, to OK. Yet, they're lusted after, and can get away with everything (especially cheating on their fiancée publicly, numerously.) Men succeed easier than woman, and only have to do the bare minimum and will still be lusted as. Onc…

Yes they do, I’ve seen hundreds of pee bottles in a room cause of a fucked up man; girlfriend does everything for him. Example of the bare minimum.

It's not bullshit, because if that was the case, none of these men would have their lives taking off on YouTube with woman simping for them, and be below 5.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/21 10:15 AM

It's not the minority, it just goes to show men can look the bare minimum, and woman will go mental for them. Happens in real life too. (Non-celebs.) Even woman go mental for Pete Davidson types.

It's the same with men? Look at all those Tik-Tok boys, Vine Stars, or YouTube Stars who could be average looking, sometimes even below, and woman going mental for them.

I have attracted both genders, I don't know why. So, I don't know. Don't think I've ever attracted my type, but I don't put myself out there to begin with. There was a few grocery store occassions, but I doubt the guys were hitting on me, maybe somebody else, but they were all hot, and my type look wise. Not sure about personality but personality I like kind, respectful, smart, calm, collective and just overall fun.

I'm NOT just talking about Hollywood, the dating pool increases for people who are overweight/fat, because LOWER standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/21 03:23 AM

They are the SOURCE of fat phobia and fat-hatred. Of course they're going to be going after thin people... Ok, but you still missed the point. You RARELY see an attractive person (regular person) who IS thin, with an overweight person, OR, fat. Most attractive people are dating other attractive people, who are thin. When you're overweight/fat. The doors open to more of a dating pool, which means more options. Which makes sense for more attention, lower standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/21 03:23 AM

I still don't think so, because on Instagram, if you're thin, and pretty, you'll pull in numbers of followers easily. With tons of men thirsting over you in the comments. Even celebrities will slide in normal girls (thin girls) DM's for a hookup because easy attraction. Never a fat girl. You don't see people like Harry Styles dating fatter woman, just constant blonde skinny supermodels. If that was the case, then the thinness body trend would of died down a long time ago. It still hasn't. I don'…

If this was the case though, then why don't the top desirable celebrity men ever date fatter woman? You always seem them with either models, or super fit woman. Never fat. That's what I find intriguing, you hear people preach this, but then you see people like Leonardo Di Caprio, with his 25 and below year old, super slim models.

I didn't read any of what you said. Point is. There aren't HAES doctors unless they're employed by the snake oil movement it's self. Catered around to people like you who live in delulu land because you're too lazy to educate yourself to eat correctly, and refuse to have discipline. If you won't listen to even your doctor, then you're a lost cause.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 10:34 PM
3

Yeah I agree, it irked me too. These people have no discipline and want to be accepted because they're too neglecting of themselves, and because they get their feelings hurt, because they won't change themselves, they need to gaslight everyone into thinking the way they do in order to accept them. Anyone who questions the bubble they live in, they dismiss. Yup, fantasy world is what it is. I laughed out loud when they were like to me, "nutritionists mean NOTHING!" Yet, kept ignoring the point ab…

The difference between Grey's Anatomy is that it's fictional, while as, 1,000 lb sisters, is non-fictional and live in the same mindset as you do and they are an example of why the 'positivity' movement is gaslighting, and harmful. That's why one refuses to lose weight and lives in delulu land believing she is perfectly healthy, and acceptable, because she is told she is. Just like you are spewing the same nonsense, because you're delusional also. There aren't HAES doctors UNLESS, they are worki…

/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 10:16 PM

She/he is definitely a lost cause. They live in delulu world. Judging by their defensive nature regarding the subject, you can absolutely tell they back the "fat positivity" movement. This is why people can't lose weight, instead of education, and common sense, they listen to the crap like HAES. They're a lost cause because they allow themselves to be a loss cause because they're too stubborn, or happy being unhealthy to change.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 10:12 PM

The dude lives in delulu. All he does is change the subject, or makes excuses because he's so far up the "fat positivity" ass. There's no arguing with him, he's too far gone.

Nope, I'm getting my medical knowledge from how it actually works, and considering plenty of my friends work in hospitals, and one is literally a dietician. The TV show is another example for you, because you live in a fairytale world. Do you think the 1,000 lb sisters are being told "let's do the HAES method?" Especially if it has that great of an outcome? All you do is change the subject, it's actually amusing. You can't even stay on your own argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/21 10:08 PM

I do support hand holding. Yeah, and that's why your argument is part of the problem, and numerous people called you out for it. Not just me in the replies. While they were cussing at you; I wasn't. You refuse to listen, you steer the argument away like a mindless child, and obviously have comprehensive issues. Your partner doesn't respect you, because your personalities clearly aren't compatible. You shouldn't have to treat somebody like shit. Just for them to be interested in you enough that they don't want you to walk away. That means they're just tolerating you, because you're only OK enough for them, but not what they genuinely like, or care about truly. You're just filler. If that's the mindset TRP is giving you, then this is just unnecessary advice that easily could be prevented if one, or both …

Uh, when woman get married they tend to become fat too. You don't have to be married to get fat. Studies have shown people in 'happy' relationships generally gain weight and that's due to two reasons. Comfort, and security. You're not an incel if you have a partner and getting sex. You're an incel if you're shitting on woman, and having high expectations while screaming that you can't have sex, or find a partner. It has nothing to do with marriage.

A nutritionist could understand nutrition, or they could be a grifter. There’s no accredation for that term. Once again, it's not clicking for you. Then chiropractors can be considered a grifter then based on your argument. You’re a mean dude. If I was a doctor I wouldn’t want to spend time holding your hand either. No doctor has held my hand, buddy. I'm not a "dude" either. Like I just said, I lost weight myself, sitting here physically fit, abs, and all. Kept it off for 3-years now. My doctor …

They aren't really an incel if they're married to somebody. Because they're actually having sex with their partner, and have a relationship. Incels I'm talking about are the ones who don't get any sex, woman don't look their way. They're the ones bitching about wanting perfect models, with a perfect body, etc. That's why they can't get in a relationship, because they live in delulu.

I have never seen FDS encourage cheating. I have only seen FDS encourage woman to find a nice guy, not an asshole that treats them like jack shit, who genuinely sees a future with them. They don't wan ta bum boy, who uses them for sex, and changes the topic when they ask about future plans (like marriage) which every couple naturally should be able to see that. The post you linked isn't cheating at all. "Don't put labels" and being a FWB, doesn't mean you're actually dating them.

It's true. Well, I'm not a guy, and I ghosted somebody I really cared about. Was a friend of mine I considered family because we knew each other our entire lives, and were always doing everything together. I regret ghosting her almost every single day, and all I do is miss her. If I were to post about it on any other sub like the relationship sub, even if it's purely platonic, or, Am I The Asshole. The people on dating subs are children, or well teenagers. Who don't have any experience themselves. Like the top comment said, the harsh truth matters. People these days don't like hearing the truth, and society has become shittier by attacking anyone who offers the truth, because apparently, "it's not positive." Positive movement is part of the problem. You want actual advice; then listen to somebody who tells you straight.

Yes. I am saying the label "nutritionist" has no meaning. Not that nutrition doesn't exist. You still missed the point though. A certificate doesn't mean jack shit, because these people have educated themselves on nutrition and how to eat right, and educating other people who never educated them on basic nutrition. The terminology "nutritionist" wouldn't even exist in general if people understood how to eat right which is basic common sense. I'd love to see a source that people who saw personal …

That's probably because she feels comfortable with you, and doesn't have to compete. People keep up with their appearance to attract as many possible people as they can for a suitable partner. It's the same with relationships, why do you think both couples tend to gain more weight, and are labelled "happy" in studies, or at least the weight gain is? Because they're comfortable with one another; and aren't needing to compete for a match. Don't have to be married for that.

Do you know that "nutritionist" has no meaning? There's no certification to call yourself a nutritionist. Ok, firstly, there is a lot wrong with this. Our bodies need specific staples, and nutrition is one of them. Not just physical exercise. We need the right fats, the right amount of carbs, etc. They all have a job. Now, unfortunately though. Why would doctors approve of HAES, when there are literally nutritionists, and dietitians they can refer their clinics to, or will most like will? Most doctors will also be straight forward, "lose weight, you're unhealthy." Then do the referral. Most people who are going to their doctor because of harsh medical problems stemmed by their weight too are told a straight forward answer quickly because the time is ticking because of their quickly declining health. I just don't understand why they wou…

Honestly, it is true. I don't think people should make snide remarks though, like, for example; "you look disgusting, you're ugly, you'll never be loved. You gross land whale." That's what gives this movement fuel, because they connect it with bullying. If it was more so commentary like, normal commentary in the way you can make it most respectful in order to motivate somebody to get healthy, then they wouldn't have that fuel to play victim. And I agree, it quite is gross because it is promoting…

Go look at Zac Efron's interviews, or videos. Good guy if you want to hear some body positivity. He had to stay fit for the industry, it got so bad he wasn't even allowed carbs and got pretty emotional about having carbs on his show, and sick of Hollywood's load of crud. But on Ellen, he saw a structure of himself, and he rejected that type of mindset, and body image, and said it's just healthy at all, or worth it, and not to be like that. I don't think the OP is commenting that it is wrong that people won't date them, more so the hate towards people that are fat. Back then, Reddit had, "Fat People Hate" but it's now ban, that would be an e.g of the strong hatred on here towards fat people.

Because you're on Reddit where the incels run wild, and expect to have a 5'9 model, all toned, with abs. But, they on the other hand, can be as fat as they'd like while they demand. Anyways, there is nothing wrong with someone who is fatter. Some guys even like woman thick, so.

I don't think FDS is trying to be toxic though. I'll use an example, FDS doesn't like "long term girlfriend" tales. They explain why. I wrote a post about here on the subject not to long ago. None of that is toxic. Being in a relationship for 10-years, and your partner unwilling to propose to you, is a huge red flag. Shows only one of you feel the same way, and the other person is willing to take a step further, while the other doesn't want commitment, and wasting a time because they have cold f…

For the most part, it's just telling woman to better themselves, and not get taken advantage of men who treat them like shit (that's when they comment on men.) See, this is what I see. Why do you find it toxic? I posted about it once, it was the topic of marriage; and the length of it indicating the future of where a relationship will officially be. I used Taylor Swift as an example too. Using their point of views, which actually connects with psychological articles, and statics as well. So what they're spewing is correct. Most of the woman on FDS are young, wanting a good future, instead of an abusive one like before, it isn't a bad thing. I think people hate FDS because they…

I wouldn't. If I was hot, it's said that people who are hot have it easier in life, and more is handed to them. Some don't even realize that, they just assume life is that way. Instead of objectifying myself, I would pursue whatever I want to pursue and land a high field, and make big money doing it. Not, whoring myself out. Well, the article writer decides it's true, because of the propaganda he's allowed to spew, out of their own bias garbage. I mean, it's quite true. We all get old and ugly anyways, so at the end of the day, personality matters. I think there are two types of attraction, there is attraction that fits your needs, where you're drawn to a person (stranger), which makes you interested in them, and that attraction gets more increasingly hotter if their personality works, so then love takes over, not lust. Then there's ridiculously hot attraction, where everyone wants that person because they are conveniently attractive (t…

If you don't want that person securely with you, then let them go; break up with them, and find someone else that you can see yourself with. You're just wasting their time then. Disagree, fun fact marriages that are healthier, and happier are because of men pursuing the woman, and normally because the woman is more attractive then the man, and the man feels satisfied. Taylor Swift is a pick-me, let that sink in. If following FDS mindset correctly, that means you're the desirable asset (not the pick-me) and the man who wants to lock it down with you, is the simp.

Where are people getting that men are likely to stay more often? It's the other way around, women are more forgiving, and because emotional, tend to get brainwashed into giving the guy another chance. Men will stay, but still continue to cheat. Then it ends up in divorce. They don't have the BALLS, to divorce, or breakup with their partner that's why they CHEAT to begin with, so what makes you think they have the BALLS, to leave? Cheating is for losers.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/21 10:40 PM

It's both; woman don't cheat as much as men, and are willing to stay with an unfaithful partner. Women are more emotional too, so I'm guessing that plays a big role, and willingness to give a partner a second chance. Marriage benefits the man too; remember that. So, a lot of woman probably feel stuck, and don't know how to walk away from a relationship when they built their life around that person, or accommodating their husband. I'll use a celebrity example. Not flat out marriage, but there was…

If you’re taking about now, I’m simply just debunking your original commentary. So that would a yes. There are many marriages that happen out of pressure and wanting to reap benefits (which shows, the third world argument is completely false). Seeing as people are getting married for support, or having a partner which ends up being long term because of financial security, not …

See, that’s why you guys are successfully married, and work perfectly together. You were always on the same page. That is what I agree with, and totally acknowledge. This is why I have such strong curiosity, about the hesitancy of relationships of when people aren’t on the same page. It does seem like if one person isn’t, then it’s a dead zone. The man (woman, too during some scenarios) doesn’t seem themselves with that person and panic at the thought of forever while with girlfriend and boyfrie…

To your first paragraph is because the answer is simple for two reasons. Woman believe they have a “biological clock” for starters. They are pressured into thinking that they must have a baby or they will lose the chance and live in regret. They also are taught that there eggs are running dry, and it’s embedded in them naturally. All which is unfortunately untrue, which is bogus made up by men during a miserable time for men. Secondly, it just proves woman are marrying out of love for the most p…

Absolutely. 4 years after age 26 is more than enough time whether to decide if you want to (as Beyoncé says) put a ring on it.

Justin Bieber went off and married Hailey Baldwin, who’s dad claimed bankruptcy and she, herself didn’t have much of a dazzling networth at the time. No prenup. What you said would be a completely new discussion for another day. Basically, if you can’t trust a person enough to take that risk, (that proves you believe they’re a gold digger) then, you probably shouldn’t be in that relationship with them anyway. Prenups also exist. Taylor has way too much money. That sounds horrific, it just sounds…

It’s not a “whoosh” making a woman wait in her 30s and stripping her 10 years of her life has nothing to do with respect because he can’t make a decision

The ring was mostly figure of speech. Then again, once you have a ring that means you’re gonna remain off the market and people publicly will be left known. See though, you didn’t pop the question, but you realize from the past that it would of been a big mistake. That’s the type of thinking I believe where people know whether or not they want to marry someone. That’s why I ask this question, it seems when the question doesn’t get popped there is a reason why someone doesn’t see themselves with …

See I agree with this completely. Marriage at under age 26? No way, that’s not where I would ever consider concern. But after age 26 that’s where it seems to get more complex and concerning.

I wouldn’t necessarily say this true. Seeing the studies show that men benefit in marriage. Which means most woman are marrying out of love, rather than “money.” If you believe it’s all about gold digging then this logic doesn’t work in commonwealth countries.

Scrolled down and perfect description. This is how I see it too, high school, or college boy type. Not the movie stereotypes where "he has his hair slicked back, smokes cigarettes, barely talks, and has sex with everyone while he rides on his motorcycle with his leather jacket flowing." No. It's that obnoxious guy in class that commands everyone's attention, jumps from girl to girl, because he has all eyes on him, and is loud and annoying. That's the "bad" boy. If you're meeting a bad boy outsid…

If you hold the mindset of "alpha male" you're already setting yourself up for failure, embarrassment and mockery. No woman likes a man who refers to himself as an 'alpha male' and most men who label themselves that terminology tend to be men who are incel minded, or low-self esteem which is why woman tend to be put off to them. Harsh reality, but be yourself. If a woman doesn't like you for you, then keep on walking, you will find someone that clicks with you and your "vibe."

Genetics aren't like 1+1 = 2. Genetics are very complex. Just because you have traits, doesn't mean your kids will inherit them. For all you know your kids will inherit characteristics that your great-great-great-great whatever the fuck, grandma or grandpa had. Genetics can skip generations. Secondly, if you ever worked with models, a lot of the time parents who aren't seen as traditionally attractive tend to successfully have gorgeous children, that go on to become supermodels. Same goes with c…

Stop with the victim mentality for god sake. Do you even know what that means? None of what I said to you is, "victim" mentality? Genuine and respectful question, because I don't think you understand what "playing the victim" means. Disagreeing with you, doesn't mean I'm "playing the victim" and, even if I 'was' it would be impossible, this is a debate? About a conversation not about myself? If anyone presents you logic, facts, or whatnot, and they disagree with you, that means they're playing t…

If the couple explicity talks about the woman wants to marry, but the man conceals that he doesn't, then it's his fault. That means he's leading her on. He remains in a relationship with a person he doesn't see himself spending his future with, but makes her believe there will be. He is the one who doesn't understand what he wants, or at least feels comfortable, but not enough to develop further. If a woman wants marriage but doesn't want to communicate, then it's her fault for assuming. Every c…

No one is forcing a woman to get married unless of course you're living in a conservative third world country. You can keep brining ''studies'' but for men living in the west marriage is a bad deal. but I take it that you aren't a big fan of marriage? Right? You don't have to be in a third-world country and feel "forced" to get married. There are expensive countries, Canadian cities, Australian cities, I can go on where people are pressured to find a spouse because they cannot afford to live in …

The question is, did you both always see eye-to-eye on marriage, because it sounds like you were both on the page. That's why it worked out for you both.

Not getting married in a hurry isn't a bad thing, that isn't what I'm debating or really asking. If they're not in a hurry that means marriage is still on the table *that's if, both of the individuals spoke together, and still see eye-to-eye which in your case "if" I would assume they are. Not in a hurry could mean a lot of things, some simple examples would be, not being in the right position financially, most people want a wedding for example. They rather wait. Some people want kids right away…

If you respected them, you wouldn't waste their time whether to decide if this particular person is the one you see yourself in the future with, 20-30 years down the line. It isn't that hard to make the decision whether you like this person enough to keep going, or end it, and move on. Making them wait, while you can't come up with a decision means you probably aren't in love with them like you think you are.

No, there's been studies showing that it's actually men who benefit from marriage, not the woman. Ironically, there is also writeups about a how columnist back after the war came up with the "biological clock" labelling on woman which acted in pressure for woman to settle. War jobs gave woman freedom, led woman to jumpstart and chase their dreams and careers. Men were frustrated with this, and then the "biological clock" social pressure label begun. Which brought back woman stress to get married…

I agree with age, and stage in life. I'm mostly referring to maybe couples aging 26, and upwards. Not anything below 26. I find it more noticeable in couples passed the 26 year bracket.

Nowadays men are really wary of marriage in general. And that's because they're smart about it: No there not. There are studies that show that marriage is actually beneficial to men only, you could still argue for both, but in the end the woman is still losing, and aren't as happy. Studies have also shown that men are more happier married, then they are Bachelors. You can read up more about it if you'd like. Your whole perspective needs to change. You shouldn't ask yourself when a partner will m…

The thing is, what is the point of the relationship then, if it scares a person that they're making a "lifetime vow" which if you think about it, that means you're basically realizing you have to spend forever with this person. That pretty much solidifies that people don't want to get marry because they do not want to be locked in. If they stay boyfriend and girlfriend, they can have the door on the out, not just in. Another important thing to think about is, if you're truly worried about the th…

In other countries you do not need to have a ring, living together is enough to "symbolize" the divorce payout which you are remarking on. If you love a woman, then there isn't hesitation to put a ring on it. Now, this brings me back to my question once again; why? Answer? Men don't want commit, unless it is on their terms. They may date a woman for far too long, but as soon as they break off that relationship, they remarry with absolute ease. Take a minute to think why. Because they do not want…

It absolutely is an issue, considering she without a doubt has numerously hinted that she wants to marry him, and he still hasn't popped the question. Just because Taylor has money, doesn't mean she's in control. If she was the one who was in control, she wouldn't be afraid to lose him, judging by her song lyrics. Sorry but I disagree with you, celebrity or not, this doesn't take away the general argument and question I am asking. Relevant, or not relevant to her.

If this was a communication problem, then why is there psychological commentary behind it? Why don't the men exit the relationship sooner and call it quits, especially him being aware they're not on the same page? Why does he chose to remarry less than a year with the next woman? If it was that easy and you're making it out to be, then this wouldn't be a debate, or conversation. Psychologists wouldn't be studying it either.
