Yeah #2 is spot on. I think Neil's particular issue may apply to himself a bit, but is definitely not unique. In my experience with PUA, I left the South Florida lair because it seemed a lot of guys were pursuing the abundance lifestyle for validation, which is oxymoronic. Yeah I do have to agree that most of this is how you find partners, and avoid letting yourself get down when you have a rejection or don't find women for prolonged periods of time. I do think though that a lot of people adopt these habits as part of their general ethos, which can become problematic at the point that they do choose a partner for a LTR.
