In all honesty it isn't your fault you had that reaction. I feel like I'd have that reaction too. Granted my husband wouldn't have the gall, THE ABSOLUTE AUDACITY to ask for a trashy ass threesome while I was pregnant with three whole humans. What's that? One for one? Urhhhh. If you want to mend your relationship you need to sit down and have a candid conversation about your wants, needs and boundaries. If you don't like the idea of threesomes then lay that out there. But also express your vulne…

Haha and that's absolutely fair enough. No one should be forced to have kids if it's not for them!

While I find personally that our marriage has become even better after, closer and more intimate after kids. I can understand the concept of it getting rockier for a lot of folks. A lot of my friends have waves of these terrible chunks in their relationships but then most tend to come out the other side stronger. It's not all doom and gloom.

I totally understand your sentiment. I hated babysitting, it's so stressful. Having your own kid is much better. I know that makes no sense but its the case for me. Granted it is a lifetime deal. Folks like to say 18 years, but you're their parent until one of you dies.

Dude depression is a fucking bitch, but you can beat it, it's unfortunately only down to you. If only we could take people's depression away! Behaviour helps the mind make changes. I know you may not feel like doing anything, or any of the things you've loved in the past, but force yourself to do 20 minutes of it. Slowly but surely the behaviour of physically doing something you loved may pull you out. That's how I beat it, I set an alarm and then a timer for me to work on a hobby even if I didn…

You're in a woe is me spiral. Get help means, get a therapist, no money? walk into a church or whatever religious establishment you grew up in. Get help means, take inventory of your life and see where you can make minor changes to improve your life/mood. Like DnD? Find a group. Enjoy Airsoft or pro-wrestling? Go to a place to shoot or learn. You can't be so hell bent on wallowing. Because your responses are definitely like that

How young are you dating?! Do women in their mid-late 30s really give a fuck about tiktok?!?

Dude you need to get some help for your mental health. This mentality is totally you looking through shit-stained glasses. If your life isn't to your liking then make moves to change it. You have agency, you have control over your own life. It may feel like you don't have power, but you can instigate positive change. I pretty much disagree with your entire post. Im the most romanced I've ever been, having the best and most frequent sex in my 30s with my husband. We have kids (not brats) and yes …

I personally think guys who have slept around loads just as unappealing as women who have slept around loads. Im a woman and I don't like promiscuity. Sex before marriage is fine, a reasonable number of monogamous relationships where sex was present is fine. But I would probably not date a serial one night stander, or someone who's been around. Just part of my personal values. If folks want to "slut it up" so to speak, they're more than welcome to and can do so. They just wouldn't be a match for…

Absolute deal breaker for me. I am incapable of accepting and engaging in polyamory. Everything about it makes my skin crawl. I mean, if you can handle it, you do you. But I wouldn't trust a sister wife with my kids.

I absolutely agree with this. It depends how much you are willing to tolerate. Personally I am not willing to tolerate "jabs" or pranks etc because it would jeopardize how secure/safe I would feel with the person. I would always be on edge. Don't get me wrong, my husband teases me and plays around which I love, but never does it feel mean spirited. We have a bit of banter, but I'm his wife not his mate down the gym.

I'm Latino and don't have the same experience growing up. Did have a lazy sibling though lol. Husband supports us financially 100% I do 90% of childcare. He will bathe and put her to bed most nights. He will stay with her (he WFH) for me to go for a run or pop to the gym. I do 75% of household cleaning. Husband likes to tidy things up, do dishes but isn't so much a cleaner. I tend to be the one to spray, scrub, vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, wipe etc We tend to split the cooking 50/50. We both enjoy …

I do not tolerate name calling and insults. It's a hard line for me. I do not call him names and he doesn't call me names. We are always respectful even when we fight.

I never really thought this through so hard like this. I just can't have sex with someone I've only just met. I need to know the person and their hygiene, values etc.

I mean... I think it's just plain bad taste to wear words on jewelry but hey, you do you. Just don't be surprised if people think you're in some sort of BDSM relationship. Which if you are, no judgement from me.

I'm a lady who LOVES BJJ and wrestling! I would consider myself a tomboy. I find that if I were 13 years old these days someone would have made me transition or queried my gender. The issue is that it's more complex! Like as much as I like all my "manly" hobbies and don't scream/cry/squeak when someone gets me with a takedown. When I'm not in those situations I will be the most feminine version of myself who enjoys the conversation about those things. I think men really respond to women who enjo…

Granted my husband and I game super casually when a game we are excited for comes out. Then we forget we have a console until the next game we are excited about comes out. Generally I would say hobbies like Gaming and Table Top games, as well as hobbies like Netflix and social media are not productive or improvement based hobbies. I know I know, you can get AMAZING at games, and you can be the best magic the gatherer, but like social media and Netflix it doesn't improve your greater life. Gettin…

I suppose I mean, I haven't ridden public transport in years on accounts of being an adult who doesn't live in a big city. I have a car and drive haha But I don't expect MEN specifically to give up their seats for folks who are heavily pregnant. I expect that polite people who are young and mobile can see someone with impaired mobility and give up their seat in general. I've always given up my seat for the elderly, broken legged, pregnant women because it's polite. The last thing I wanted to see…

As a woman I never expect anyone to give up their seat for me. Unless I have a broken leg or I'm pregnant really. I guess even then I don't expect anyone to give up their seat, you can't really expect other people's kindness and politeness. I am thankful when it does happen though

I'm a lady and when I see women post this quote I instantly know she is a mess. Like you just KNOW this person has a mental health problem or has made a series of horrible relationships choices. It's so cringe. It's the bipolar version of live laugh love. Mega yikes.

As a woman I find that idea inherently sexist. Taking a dick isn't violence. Taking a dick feels good for a lot of people. That's my counter argument. If these ladies don't like dick that is totally fine, no need to get down to it but don't try to tarnish it for the rest of us dick-lovers.

I feel like I always walked a fine line growing up and even now I do too, but more towards a the feminine side. I did have mostly guy friends, though my closest friends growing up were girls. During university I did a degree that was very male oriented, so most of my friends from then are guys who I still talk to often. I've never been promiscuous or a heavy drinker, never really joined in on the drinking competitions and such. But I have always and still enjoy more male centered hobbies, howeve…

Girl, cut this snake out of your life. This woman is terrible. She 100% wants your life and husband. Friends don't only take.

I don't really categorise men as Alpha or Beta since to be a fully well rounded human you need both elements. Someone who is all Alpha would be a total douche and someone who is all beta would be a total wet towel and push over. I categorise men by secure vs insecure. Goal driven and ambitious Vs lazy and complacent. Smart Vs dumb. And so on. It's more of a collection of traits that build up to a whole person. The reason I don't use Alpha and Beta too is that is situational for me. A man can be …

I personally would not be able to forgive a cheater in any circumstance. Perhaps it's harsh and unforgiving of me, but I can't be vulnerable with a man I cannot trust. I'm also very careful with my body and would never have a one night stand and have never had an STD. So for those reasons I would be unable to continue the relationship.

Relationships are a two way street of effort. You both have to be making efforts to keep the spark alive. It's natural for sex to sometimes diminish, but that doesn't mean it's gone! My husband and I have been together for 11 years, married for 5 and we are still rocking the bedroom. Don't get me wrong, it's not ALWAYS like that, like all relationships its like the ocean, sometimes there are months of sexiness, and then maybe a month that has more of a dry spell. It's normal. But when it goes dr…

Don't get me wrong, I love a long Bob/Bob and on some people a pixie can look both feminine and practical. However a lot of these haircuts are lesbian/I need to talk to your manager haircuts that make me cringe. This seams like a weird ad...

I second this. I'm also working on more female friendships and boy is it hard as an adult married woman to find more lady friends. When they start a gossip maybe just change the subject when you can to something else?

You know what? Sometimes it's ok to ditch friends who no longer add to your life. I get that some friends go through tough times and need support. Some friends make poor decisions and overcome. However there is a line, and sometimes having someone in your life is way more work than just cutting your ties. Maybe I'm a heartless bitch. I would distance myself from this person. If they sort themselves out and want to reach out, I would be more than happy to hear her out. But for now, perhaps she's …

I disagree as a happily married women for 10 years. We are best friends but because we are married there is just an extra layer of respect, responsibility, trust and duty. This post does make sense for people who have a habit of picky shitty men who easily get it twisted. You can have both but you have to understand the lines of those four points above. To be honest having a "best friend" in itself is an isolating and insular act. As an adult we should have friends and close friends, but best fr…
