|The trick Illusions, Michael, illusions! In all seriousness though, this does feel like an illusion. I don't really understand it. I've had about a 70% flake rate since the beginning of the year, whether it's for dates, hanging out with friends, it doesn't matter. I haven't met a reliable friend since high school, none of which live near me anymore. It baffles me because my old friends and I are always incredibly inclusive and rarely say no to other people if we get invited to something. Yet, i…

To an extent. I never like to judge people when I interact with them, but a lot of fake people do come across as presenting themselves in the typical plastic persona and I tend to stay away from them but it may be because it's a big turn off to me. As for self-esteem levels, Lanai probably addressed it better than I can since I don't pay attention to it as much as a lot of girls have "issues" about all sorts of random things.

I actually picked it up without any training as the skill set just came naturally to me. If you have any specific questions I'd be more than happy to answer them.

I'm a very analytical person and I've used cold reading to great success in the past. I feel like the article portrays the whole thing as more of a gimmick than it really is since reading people has uses outside of PUA. Surely you can use it as a gimmick, but it's not really necessary most of the time. If you do, I feel like it's more to be funny and not serious than actually reading people. But I just thought I'd highlight some things they mention in there that have helped me the most when I do…

I think in general, we're nowhere near as receptive to it Someone in a different askreddit thread like 2 months ago or so proposed why this is, and I tend to agree for the most part. But the way some girls "flirt" is just the way another girl normally acts, whether they're the touchy-freely type of person or just acting nice. Guys don't wanna feel like they were strung along and then get "friend-zoned" when there's really nothing there, so they never assume that subtle touch on the arm means any…

As a trumpet player I HATE how they say use your chest voice. Breathing with your chest and your diaphragm are pretty much opposites. At least they described it properly.

It's extremely difficult to find one well made. They either taste extremely alcoholic or like half of it is syrup. I've been lucky enough to have a couple good ones in my college days, but I'm not sure if that's mostly because I was really drunk. Nowadays they just taste like a syrupy overload.

I dunno if I agree with his. USUALLY (not always) it's used as a substitute for stupid. My gay cousin absolutely hates it when people use it this way as it makes an association between being gay and being stupid. You can make analogies to words like how people use Jewish, but those are more stereotypes and thus aren't really a direct analogy. At least in my experience those words are also spoken directly to someone of that race and thus it's more of a poking fun at them as they're fulfilling the…

I'm going to use that drop acid line this weekend at least once. That shits too good to not give it a try. I'm going to a Pretty Lights concert on Saturday. Gonna use it, but I'm afraid I might actually get a yes.

After you've had them over for a while, people have been drinking and having a good time, and you wanna make your move, create some excuse to isolate whichever girl you are trying to hook up with. It can be something as simple as "you haven't heard this new song by insert some random band here? Lemme show it to you on my computer!" When you isolate, you don't have to worry about what you're doing in front of the other two and you can work your game at your pace and make your move. So can your bu…

In my limited experience, I've had the almost the same experience. I'd appreciate insight on this as well.
