7	How much will sharing a room in residence prevent one from getting laid? I literally talked to him about it twice a week. I never once yelled, or asserted myself anymore than just "Yo, dude. It's fucking loud and I'm sleeping." or "Stop being a fuck, it's like 2AM and I've got shit to do tomorrow" in a friendly enough tone. Make sure you stay on good terms with your roomate, or he will become an impenetrable cockblocking forcefield. My roomate plays full volume battlefield while I sleep, and eventually I got sick of it.
