Free breakfast and lunch is offered to qualifying low income families at public schools. While most of the public views this as a necessity and a deserved convenience to struggling families, I don’t think this is beneficial. It is not a necessity because parents can and will feed their children. As everyone has experienced, when something free is offered, we take advantage of the opportunity. However, regularly taking advantage of something so basic is counter-intuitive to being a parent. Yes, I…

I'm sure your intentions were good with this post, but it comes across extremely judgmental and condescending to those who do not parent identically to you. It also reaks of privilege and someone who has never experienced financial hardship. Free breakfast and lunch is not for those who don't want to provide food- it's for those that can't. Golf clubs. My fiance taught me how to play and loves that I enjoy one of his favorite sports. Plus I think the outfits are cute (skirts, fun colors, preppy pony tails). It's a good hobby to know for business reasons too.

Let it go for today, but reaching out tomorrow and asking how it all went is perfectly fine. If no response, then time to move and keep doing you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
