Yeah, don't quit. Tell him it's just nerds being nerds but I wouldn't be drinking around these horny nerds either. They know you're married but still don't respect that boundary, as any true professional would normally do. Tread lightly at both work and home, to hopefully keep your head above the BS. Good luck!...

Well, like I always say: If something scares you, maybe you ought to try it out. NO HOMO.

With COVID still raging it's doubly tough for both sexes but you might flip that to your advantage by saying "You know with everybody being locked in/quarantined, I find myself a little isolated sometimes. Do you ever feel this way?" If he implies he does, then a "You seem like an interesting man, would you like to talk little more later?" Gauge his response and try to get his number too. Just a thought...

My girl told me this exact same thing right up front and at least for me, it didn't play a part in our relationship. She was more than willing to go the extra mile (or miles!) in other areas so no, it wasn't a deal breaker.

Glad to help. Being raised in Oklahoma, this dialect is quite common in the rural areas and the ladies that live out there are generally no-nonsense types, especially if they've been raised on farms or ranches, where the days work begin before sunrise and many times don't end till after sunset, 7 days a week.

"Whoa there, Thunder! This is a command given while riding a horse named Thunder. 'Whoa' means stop or slow down drastically. Thunder is a generic name for a horse but the name conotates an active but stormy disposition. I don't let any ol' cowboy tie his horse to my hitchin' post First, she's saying that she won't let any man visit her home for more than very brief, passing visit. and even fewer can park their boots next my bed. She's saying here that of those that are allowed longer visits (i.…

Oh, he should be laughing alright but he'd get the point that OP isn't going allow guys continued disrespect to her. This is just a way of sliding in a confrontation without seeming like one and the OP can gauge their response fairly easily. Of course, then just the phrase "moseying right on by..." can be used at other times to let them know they are crossing a boundary too.

"Who?!? That guy?!? I barely know him." "No, I don't know him but he hit on me one time." Confirmed at least one fuck with each of them. "He's not my type." "He's an asshole, I know his girlfriend." Confirmed multiple fucks.

I like the cowboy context, so maybe "Whoa there, Thunder! I don't let any ol' cowboy tie his horse to my hitchin' post and even fewer can park their boots next my bed. I've got know how healthy and well treated their pony is first. If she's been treated like a broke down ol' mare, you might as well keep moseying on by..." Just a thought...

"Because it doesn't bother me to date ugly women. Or ones that ask stupid questions." Or Look peacefully but directly into her eyes and say "I'll find the some one else to go out with." Then leave with not another word spoken but feel free to lock eyes with her but in a peaceful, knowing relaxed way.

Awesome 😎 description. Thank you, as I've been looking for as simple an explanation as this to help a few of my lost friends, both male and female, straight, bi and gay to come back to the realities of life. Also, I'm glad that this forum exists at all. I've been RP'd now for over four years and so far of what I've read, it means that I'll continually be challenged to be the best I can be.

You're correct about that mostly as I would estimate it probably is more like the 80/20 rule. 80% don't want to know and then the other 20% are going to be pedantic about it. As for me and maybe a few others, as long as there isn't an STI permanently attached to either one of us, it shouldn't matter about our past histories, unless abuse is causing deep seated issues that can derail the relationship. And actually, I hope you've had an active, varied and well populated intimate life prior to our …

I've had that same feeling for years. I'm not okay with that feeling but I remind myself that IDGAF who they're banging on the side. We don't own them and don't want to either. You can't let your emotions get caught up in whatever you think she may do. Too many what if's will make you appear weak too.

First, almost all women cheat. Read it, believe it and live by it. I've had girlfriend's and another wife who didn't but I treated them all like they do. I don't care how ugly and large they are either. My friends have ALL experienced this. Second, You have to take of you. I knew this 20 years before I'd heard of RP. I was broke from the divorce but I worked my butt off and was able to job hop through the 90s and early 00s, getting 10% to 20% raises every 18 months to 3 years. As I had more mone…

Oh hell yeah. First wife. In the military. After seven years, she flakes and wants a divorce. Was working up to three jobs to support our kids and her champagne lifestyle on our beer budget. Wasn't a complete fucking surprise but what happened next was. First I found out from her best friend, who was married and trying to get me to ball her, that one of my two best friends had been banging her for years while I was deployed. Great! Then the wife tells me the real reason for the divorce is that s…

Dude, you have been given a great response from u/bluzzkill: You tell her "my girlfriend does not waste my time by making plans, ignoring my call and saying nothing about it and making no effort to avoid me eating my time. I won't bring this up again." Don't go all touchy-feely. They don't respect that shit at all, especially when they fucked up. Edit: You have to be hard ass with them on this. Look her in the eyes when you say this. She needs to understand that YOU ARE A KING not to be fucked w…

An object in motion, you, will remain in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. Your energy and state of mind arent going anywhere without you making an effort to do so. This. Simple yet effective to my minds eye.

The first and most important, to me at least, is to listen to what they're saying and then does it match what their actions are. I don't appear to listen to too much but luckily, I have a good memory when I'm interested. I've learned very quickly that if, any woman, doesn't treat me with a modicum of respect, I will turn and find another who does, preferably right in front of them. Also, the very first shit test attempt is called out to them privately. TRP is, to me, all about keeping yourself s…

Be damn careful and tell her "I don't date girls where I work because of the problems IT WILL eventually cause me. It's really too bad we don't work at separate companies." If she changes jobs for you, you have a winner or a freak depending on how you feel about her.

Yep, it's better to be honest about those things than live with saggy tits the rest of your life. If the woman has any sense of self respect, she'll do something about them. Also, she's definitely going to hit you up for the cabbage to get the Cadillac set when she really just needs a two-year old Chevy/GMC set (albeit with new tires and maybe wheels), you'll both get better mileage out this option anyway. Disclaimer: YMMV with both your wallet and LTR.

Wow! I'm shocked that these kids would EVER try to act like they're older to much older than they truly are! Where ARE they learning this irresponsible behavior at? We MUST do something right now! Parents take all computers, tablets, televisions, radios, hand held CB's, mobile phones, smart refrigerators, smart toasters, smart toilets, smart shoes, smart underwear, hearing aids and anything that is smart (which probably includes at least one of your dogs and possibly one of your under 8 y/o chil…

If you're struggling with this little fucking dilemma, be both self-centered and a total dick all the time. That way you never have to figure out if you have to be nice/caring/understanding. You should tattoo #IDGAF on your forehead and the back of your hands.
