And let's not forget the countless other women who have also alleged being assaulted by him. I know you are inclined to dismiss their claims as fraudulent but I believe the sheer number of them indicates a particular problem on Cosby's part. Either way, for now he is out of jail. The woman does experience the consequences if she chooses to go through with the pregnancy. That is a given. Those that fail can turn toxic, and when they do, it's generally awful for one party more than another. I really wish people would use birth control every single time they have sex if they don't want to have a child. It would cut unwanted pregnancies massively. If a man doesn't want to be a father, he won't be, in any meaningful sense. This will be unpopular but in my opinion, being a father doesn't equate to paying child support. And let's face it, for both men and women, there are a range of reasons either "abandonment" or abortion occur. Some of those reasons are far more selfish than others. If a man chooses to leave and not take part in their future child's life, there are natural consequences for him - he doesn't get to know the person he had a part in creating.
