Run… since you seen the texts she has been bent over etc numerous times… They forget what you did for them really fast… be it 13 years or 40 once they get another dick.

That’s good advice. I like that. Realised this also and it took a bit of time. That person doesn’t exist anymore like they did. Hard lesson.

Her friends have been in her ear bro. Always happens when one or a few of their friends are single and divorced. They all think they can do better and blow smoke up each other’s backside… finally realising years later…

Get a dog or two… once you are in your 40’s you realise they are just the best and most loyal company. Apart from that it’s “Acquaintances” at best when you start or get back into your hobbies.

It’s so you can get your life back on track and better yourself as an individual. When your wife mention’s divorce she has already checked out months or years ago.

43… Seperated 18 months now. She left me to deal with it all and two dogs. Two incomes down and one was a joint business which I had to restart from scratch and now running on my own. Moved interstate with her family and conveniently already had a job lined up. She has blown through about $100k since she left. Gave her around $65k cash upon leaving. Still have to do settlement. I am doing fine now and making more $$$ than I was before but yeah puts you back a few years that’s for sure. Get marri…

I went on a few dates 3 months later on the advice of friends. I didn’t really enjoy it but it got me out of the house etc. I took the next 6-8 months to chill and work on myself and fast forward 18 months I am actually happy being single.

Summer is the best time I think. Get in shape and get out there and meet people. I found winter to be the worst time as no hugs etc end of the day. Separated about 18 months also.

Buy a boat and go fishing… it’s cheaper. At our age you don’t want more kids. Sounds like you are a little insecure.

Why on earth would you want to have more kids if you already got some and remarry again. Sounds like you are doing well so just keep having fun etc.

Yeah bro there’s no point I’ve realised… 12 months separated and it just gets worse…. Her and her friends/family have been in her ear and she is a saint and can’t do any wrong. Meanwhile of course you are the devil and it’s all your fault. I actually smile now and think… I would have a drink with that devil and help to egg her on lol

Yeah bro… I think they call it #simp these days…

Yeah good luck… it’s all your fault and don’t think otherwise ;) Hence why they always make up or add a few allegations on their way out to make themselves feel better.

I’ve realised same boat as you… 10 years no kids together… no one cares about you being a guy. All the friends we had all took her side lol… family doesn’t care too much… just wants you to get on with it. It’s basically “you” starting a new life. It’s shit but have to get on with it..

Have to channel that anger somewhere… been smashing the gym last 6 months. Feeling and looking better than ever. Should have done it earlier to be honest… we lose ourselves as men trying to provide and be there for everyone…

Been separated 6 months now. No kids. Same as you own my own home and she left me with the two dogs. Between work, dogs, gym, looking after everything don’t have much time I’ve realised. I’ve gone out to pubs and joined bumble. Met up with a few etc but like above said amazing how you spot red flags so quickly (for long term prospects). So I’ve decided will just focus on myself and go camping, fishing etc with the dogs. All the woman I’ve met in the past that turned into relationships etc I wasn…

Gees this hit home. Separated 5 months after 10 years. Lucky no kids. This comment hit like a ton of bricks and so accurate.
