Some people come up with out of court agreements, and the stupid people write them out themselves. 'Half of Everything' would be a legal term that could be exploited and defended with proper recorded provocation.

Unless they had an out of court agreement that stated 'half of everything' Any sensible person would have a lawyer or similar person draft it up, since they know the legal way to phrase that to protect both parties. But if someone was a dummy, and allowed the dumb way to be phrased, then taunted the other party to make them take the said action, it COULD end up being a legal agreement.

To be fair, there can be both. Gender equality would be for stuff like equal pay, or for paternal leave to be the same as maternal leave. Womens rights would be for more specific things. Abortion rights are a subject that is explicitly about women. There is some overlap between the 2, but there can exist both independently.

Eh, if she agreed to this shitty condition then she is obviously taking the calculated gold digging move. If she said no then I cant blame her (if the attraction was real) since that is a bullshit thing to do to someone you care about.

Eh, I dont particularly care about the movement that props women up, I care about the movement that tears men down so that women can have a cheap shot. Earn it or dont, I dont care, but dont break a guys legs so you can outrun him.

Eh, if the other guy lost his legs due to being on the force, i would say he deserves to be treated as a lny other member. The 2 big counters are 1- He can never go anywhere else for competitive pay, as noone else owes him the higher rate, and 2, he is incentivised to stay at a place where he encountered some form of trauma. However, the world isn't fair most of the time, and finagling a solution could be a huge endeavor for a nationwide solution.

First thought 'it sounds like a domestic abuse case, but I need more context' Then I realized OP linked to 1:14, so I checked out the minute of prior context and whooooo boy did that change my opinion really quick.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
