I broadly agree with this except I don’t think anyone is ever the finished article. What is exciting though is to meet someone who can help you continue on a positive trajectory going forward. If you just mean though taking care of yourself and being comfortable in your own skin and being single then yeah 1 million percent.

Yeah pretty clearly from a woman. There does exist some men who will be intimidated by a successful woman while as others have mentioned below, I’ve never heard the reverse said. Plus I think men wouldn’t really put that sort of bio on their profile anyway

Lol yes respectfully trying to approach a woman and getting rejected = jumping on that grenade
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 12:37 PM

What dyou mean? There’s lots of different types of women who drink or go to bars?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/24 12:33 PM

I’m not denying it’s fairly unsuccessful most of the time. I’m just saying I don’t think it’s as demonised or viewed as creepy as you believe it is.

Its not that bad man come on. You can approach women still in places like bars or clubs and as long as you’re respectful the worst that’ll happen is you get a slightly damaged ego.

Yeah this. I enjoy scrolling through the sub but think there’s a tendency for people to overanalyse a lot of this stuff. Like you said sometimes people just meet and have a connection and it flies in the face of any formulas or broad theories about dating ‘levels’ etc.

I take your point but I’m sure you’d agree theres couples you see whereby one person is quite clearly a lot more attractive?

This is a great comment, couldn’t have put it better myself. It’s one of those feelings you can’t really appreciate until you experience it first hand, but your second paragraph kinda sums it up nicely for me. Up until my first relationship I thought just having casual sex was great fun. But then since having a gf it all feels kinda a bit hollow and empty really. You really can’t beat that feeling of knowing that there’s someone that basically worships the ground you walk on, and has your back.

Well yeah. Same principle applies to us as guys. The difference between a hot girl giving me a compliment on a dating app or real life vs a girl below our perceived level is big.

Speaking personally it was kinda luck yeah. She was at least a 9/10 and I think valued a lot of personality shit, ie humour and charisma etc. She also I think at a deeper level wanted the stability of a relationship and all that comes with it.

This seems broadly accurate to me. Women are generally better at maintaining and having friends, and reaching out to them when they are feeling down or isolated etc. I’d even go so far as to say a lot of the red pilled/incel men just need friends and companionship as much as they need a gf. I’m kinda lucky that even though i’m single i’ve got a small but close knit group of friends I speak to. If I had no friends i’d probably feel a lot more bleak about it all.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/04/24 02:55 PM

I wouldn’t say this is necessarily true. I’ve got a high body count and wouldn’t say I’m very attractive. In my case I’ve almost always been single so there’s that. Then also, after getting used to dating new women there’s a kinda confidence and familiarity you get with it all, which probably does come across to the woman. Also if you’re average-ish looking and just waiting for a hot enough gf, you can go on a lot of dates with girls which may lead to sex, or just have casual sex (although thats…

Yeah this essentially describes my experience. Some of my earlier lays were pretty bad looks wise, like I’d have probably described some of them as like a 4/10 back then, but sex was this super rare novelty thing to me. Now though I would rather just jack off than fuck some girl I’m not even into who I’m gonna regret as soon as I nut. I still find sex exciting but not that exciting to completely drop my standards and self respect

Nah to be honest I was just thinking with my dick and sorta instantly regretted it as soon as it was over. Didn’t really have the mental energy to pretend I still wanted to be there afterwards. Not proud to admit that but I try not to hook up these days if i’m not really into them.

Not my experience at all no. Women normally seem to enjoy sleeping together afterwards and the one time i did leave straight after sex I think she was kinda insulted

I guess that’s fair yeah. If it’s a healthy relationship you’re probably gonna be in a net positive position with it, where even if new issues do emerge, you’ll still be happier overall.

This is true to an extent, although I’d argue they can then open up new issues you never even knew about. You can easily go through life with shit communication skills etc and not be particularly aware of them until you’re in a relationship. Then you’re gonna be called out on them and have to find ways to deal with it or address it which can cause further problems

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
