Yes. This is the correct answer and I am in the same boat. I just had to think about how important that is to me. Am i confident enough in myself to be with someone who doesn't give me that external validation? The answer was always definitely yes because I have no other complaints. Just had to accept the fact that he does not do that type of thing.

You don't have to agree or like it, but once I started following Jesus, I fully came into my feminity. I fully felt cleaned and pure from my body count. He forgave everything I had done in my past and made me clean and new. I love myself now, I'm very slow to anger, etc. Just a suggestion.

This sounds extremely familiar. My boyfriend and I are just like this. He's a good man, introvert, doesn't show much affection, doesn't know how to be romantic, etc. We've been together 4 years and over that time I've learned he just loves me quietly. That's just how he is. Do I sometimes wish he was different in that way? Of course, but I love him for him. Sometimes I have to remind him that I'm feeling lonely and unattended, and I'll notice some more effort after that. So I know he does care. …

I feel like I had the same problem. Start trying to be more self aware of the energy you do give off. Once you find your person, and if you decide you really want this person in your life for good, I think everything will fall into place. Do you believe in God? I would pray about it

That's why you need to find a GOOD man, one who you know isn't only in it for the sex. One who is in it for a PARTNERSHIP, who you can do things for and who can do things for you.

I think you just have to find your person. Someone who you know is going to be worth it even after the honeymoon phase. Someone who you know has a future, someone who you know is worth working for. A relationship is work and long term relationships are hard for anyone. It's going to suck sometimes. But once you find that person that, at the end of the day, whether it's good or bad, you are happy coming home to them. Make sure you are happy with yourself first off. Make sure you know you are happ…

I live in Michigan kinda out in the country. Most of the men I know around here seem pretty conservative. I got lucky, I met mine on Facebook dating. We've been together almost 3 years and waited almost 3 months before hooking up. Look for a good ole boy, a county boy.

I had kind of a rocky life. However for the last 2 years I have been a full time SAHM. I have 3 step kids that live with us full time, and a bio son that I share 50/50 custody. It's tough sometimes. But it's by far the most fulfilling thing I've ever done. I was like you, I never had passion for any type of career. Ive always wanted to be a SAHM. And now that I am, I know why I've always wanted it. It fits me and I feel in my heart this is what I am meant to do. My situation as to how I got here…
