Legitimate collectors... unlike myself? There are a lot of fake slabbed coins especially since you cannot weigh them or properly xrf them. It’s your right to take it out of the case if you wish. Might be scratched or you may want to resubmit the coin if it wasn’t graded appropriately in opinion. People do this regularly, especially dealers. Just something to be aware of. FYI : You can make good money on slabbed coins buy buying them on the border of grades (like au58, au55 etc) and break them out. Then simply list them on eBay for more, as these will command far less than MS (mint state) coins T0 BUY but can be very difficult for your average collector to grade themselve, and are often just as beautiful and lustrous. As a father of a 2 year old boy all I can say is that that ship has sailed my friend. It’s something you should have thought about when she started watching it. Try some baking soda/bicarb and sprinkle it on then spray the vinegar on the rust.
