If it were 20 years ago I would probably agree with you. However boys are under attack by feminists (a program in Australia will be instructing boys about "toxic masculinity" and "male privilege" for example), and alarming numbers of boys have no male influences in their lives at all, so they really should have their own spaces. In my experience, both males and females who are extremely commited to preserving social segregation on the basis of sex are socially marginal individuals. A laughable claim. Eye-opening for sure. This line: Men do not owe women anything, including a smile, a conversation, a hug, a relationship, or intimacy of any kind. Would perhaps be more effective reading, "including provision, protection, or relationships of any kind." The arrogance and entitlement of the original is un-frigging-believable.
