No trust me they suck even if you're attractive as OP explained. Women always respond like a magic 8 ball while men are writing messages on par with Shakespearian sonnets.

Can't really improve without feedback though. It's just trial and error
/r/PurplePillDebate28/03/26 07:54 PM

Completely agree. I get about one match every 1 or 2 days and I always get ghosted. I've tried every style of conversation: Funny, confident, stoic, mysterious, open, emotional, insane, uninterested etc. Literally nothing is working which is incredibly frustrating. And even if every 50th conversation gets me a date, the dates go nowhere either.

Can you guys stop putting words in my mouth and maybe make an actual attempt to understand what I said? I am just asking for proof of a claim made by OP.
/r/MensRights03/03/26 10:17 AM

You made a claim, I'm asking you to back it up. That's lightyears away from making a morally prescriptive claim like that. Not like I expected you to be logically coherent though, so it's fine.

You should talk to the women in your life and ask them about their experiences. The stat is most likely true.

Can you give an example of a woman that has beaten a man into the hospital like that without facing any backlash?
/r/MensRights27/02/26 06:30 PM

That must be why all the leaders of all the countries and companies are male. It's a huge conspiracy by a secret cabal of evil women to conceal who's really in charge!

I consider myself a feminist as well as a mans rights activist. I'm sad to see both sides ao divided. I wish there was a place where men and women worked together towards equality instead of waging this gender war. Nobody wins in war.

MGTOW guys love to pretend it's just about not dating but I've seen a lot of misogyny there. I mean I know where it comes from, I've personally strugged with these thoughts when I gave up on dating. But it's just unproductive.
/r/MensRights25/02/26 06:01 PM

I'm so glad you found a husband like that! A lot of my struggles in dating are related to my ADHD symptoms as well, so I know how difficult it can be to find someone who is willing to put up with our antics. I think the most important thing for people like us is to understand our minds and bahaviours as well as we can, so we can clearly communicate what we need and what the other person should be aware of. And obviously also how to deal with our disorders in the healthiest way.

Do you think all women believe that men are incapable of deeper connection? Have you ever met a woman?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/10/25 04:39 PM

Yeah, this is proven by statistics. People with more casual experience tend to be more unfaithful later on and their LTR's tend to be shorter.

This alpha-beta bullshit is such a sad way to view the world. I'm sorry for you guys

Depends on what you mean by this. The women on the apps are obviously also present in real life. But if we're speaking personality types then yeah, I do think the type of women to use a dating app tends to differ from those who don't. First of all women on apps are more likely to be frequently online than the average girl. You will often see them link their socials by putting their insta in their bio. This may also mean they're more brainwashed by the current cultural dynamics surrounding dating…

As I said, if it works for you and others, they should have to freedom to live in that manner. Just like how I support the right for poly people to marry. Also, “deep” isn’t a monopoly of monogamy. Depth comes from honesty, self-knowledge and mutual respect — things that can exist in a low-attachment arrangement just as much as in a marriage. I don't disagree but FWB implies to me a lack of love. I simply do not think this is the style of connection for most people, especially not in our current…

I really think more men simply want women to take some more initiative. It's so tiring to never feel desired and I think a lot of that is simply because women are so passive and because men are rarely seen as the object of pursuit/desire.

Female feminists love equality, when women get elevated. When men have to get elevated it's often "It's not my responsibility to do that!". Okay then why should it me my responsibility to care about womens rights? I obviously still do but it's hypocritical. If feminists actually actively incorporated mens liberation, they would have so much more success, because men could finally get on board with it. Resentment is what's holding back the movement.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/09/25 08:58 AM

Yes in many ways patriarchy and capitalism are intertwined. But by changing how we think about these concepts a lot of the social dynamics can be corrected. This is how feminism historically changed society

My issue with this is that when your friends asks you "am I attractive?" they usually mean attractive to people in general, not just to you. So when you lie to them it can give them a false expectation of what other people will think. And what people think of someones does in fact matter in social situations.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/25 10:52 PM

I think this "who cares if I find someone attractive" statement is interesting. Do you believe there are certain aspects that can be objectively or at least conventionally attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/25 11:41 AM

Depends on the situation
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/25 11:27 AM

We've done a lot to liberate women from gendered expectations but very little to liberate men. There are a TON of unfair gendered expectations which create this very narrow view of an ideal man. Women however don't admit this because they don't understand what expectations there are and how they harm men. So they just blame it on individual men and don't understand that it's a societal issue that reinforces patriarchy. This is why I also claim that incels aren't bad individuals, they're victims …
/r/PurplePillDebate09/09/25 11:17 AM

As a man I would add shame into the mix. Make fun of them, make him cringe over his grape joke, tell him how pathetic his behaviour is if he's actively making women uncomfortable. Just make sure to keep it on the low, you don't wanna seem like an annoying triggered moralist. Not laughing about these jokes and looking annoyed can often be enough.

I can tell you where, it was on twitter a few years ago. It was just a bunch of chonically online feminists who mainly used it as a joke. But weirdly a few annoying twitter users weren't enough to kill all men. Husbands still kill far more wives than vice versa.

It's not only female teachers. I had a male IT teacher who obviously had pedophilic tendencies and graded all the girls better than even the best boy. But I do agree. Boys are treated like broken girls in schools. I think it's because people seem to think that boys are easiert to raise or something? Which is obviously not the case. Boys aren't taught how to communicate their emotions and their troubles and are taught to repress them by peers, parents and teachers. Which then leads to emotional s…

Because it's the traditional gender role. Women only seem to see the parts of traditional gender roles that hurt them, but when it hurts men it's okay.

Because it doesn't get us anywhere. Rejection after rejection, even if I see myself as attractive, intelligent and emotionally mature, yet it's still never enough. Women have more options, and high expectations. They also tell men that they want them to emotionally open up but punish men when they do so. We are still not allowed to express negative emotion, no matter how emotionally intelligent we go about doing so. And I'm a sensitive person who feels intensely, which seems to be a no-go for wo…

You're not being very coherent. Paying women the same money for the same work is not socialist, it's just fair. Socialism would be nationalizing companies in order to funnel the profit back to the workers. Also note that not all nationalizing of companies is socialist. When Trump nationalized Intel it was to funnel the money to the state, which is state capitalism. Much like what Stalin and Hitler did and then called socialism as propaganda. It is only socialism when it benefits the worker.

No. Incels are a group that needs help, compassion and people to listen to them. They are not demons. Social darwinism is extremely dangerous and has historically been used by nazis. This hatred and neglect is exactly what creates incels. These are men who have not been loved as boys and have been neglected and socially isolated since childhood. They are then told that their anger is morally wrong and that they have to man up and repress it. If there is a large group of people with the same prob…
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 12:23 PM

It is an ideology. It is how you frame, twist, cherrypick and categorize facts in order to fuel your wider worldview. The most dangerous aspect of ideology is thinking you don't have one.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 12:08 PM

I made my point. You can choose to believe whatever you want. If you want to believe in the black pill ideology, which intentionally spreads hatred of women and hopelessness in order to radicallize young men, I won't stop you. Just be aware that it's a suicide cult based on the same logic that founded eugenics. The study also is only meaningful in the dating app context. It shows that, yes in a dating app environment, both genders select largely based on appearence. It does nothing to contribute…

I haven't done research on the subreddits origin. But my point is still correct. What I see posted on there seems authentically interested in creating a world that's fair to men and women. MRA's do address some of the same issues but always with an underlying commitment to traditional gender roles, which is what inequality roots in. For example women usually get custody of children because they are traditionally seen as the caretakers.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/25 10:45 AM

Are you not aware that face and hair make up a huge part of the aesthetic? These two things are so important. Also you entirely ignore fashion, which is something 90% of men don't give a single fuck about. Of course men look unattractive when they wear skinny jeans and an ill fitting T-shirt. How attractive someones race is, is also very subjective. Like in some parts of Africa the neck ring and plate lip body modifications are considered super attractive. These people see blonde, blue eyed euro…

The women you describe are very common I agree. But your mistake is that they are not feminist. The definition of feminism includes fighting for equality and thus women who don't support something like r/MensLib are not feminist. The feminists I know all do acknowledge these things

I don't understand why love doesn't ever seem to find a place in these discussions. Do people not care about being loved anymore?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 12:19 PM

That may be a small part of it but it's mostly that the alt-right has waged a war on truth, funded by billionaires and the tech elite which made social media. We can clearly see how social media and the death of fact checking lead to people spreading unscientific lies on social, evironmental and economic issues. Conspiracy theories have also thrived over the last decade and especially since covid. This is why Trump used the term "fake news" so much. It was part of their attept to kill truth. And…

To be fair, most men do not take proper care of their looks (apart from working out). Women are taught to do so from the day they're born. And yet I personally still only find a minority of women attractive. Most are just not my type.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 12:09 PM

I agree with all of your points. My problem with this is that it signals to me yet again that love is less important to women. Which I guess is fair in the patriarchy, it's just depressing as someone who really just wants to be loved someday.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 12:07 PM

The question is what do they see as attractive? Why does it have to be a super masculine athletic guy and not a twink with an attractive face and a good style?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/09/25 11:32 AM

Yes it is. And if you don't want to understand this, I'm sorry but you wont be able to adapt to what's in store for humanity either.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/09/25 07:27 PM

I'm not red pill but I want to answer anyway: Yes it's changed in some ways but it mainly reinforced my beliefs which are largely informed by feminism and in part in disagreement with some contemporary feminist opinions. The thing is that a ton of the takes spread here are absolutely stupid and fail to take a lot of social factors into consideration. I study philosophy so I cast a very wide net over these issues to understand these dynamics as good as I can. And it's simply a fact that a lot of …

The point was that women have different tastes and not all women ho for the same small amount of men. The red pill frames it as women only going for "high value males" which is a bullshit propaganda lie told to you by rich people to spread their capitalist ideology. They want you to become a slave of hustle culture and take advantage of young mens loneliness to do so.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/25 08:53 AM

Seems so. There are a ton of these situations in day to day life that women simply cannot avoid, especially when trying to find a relationship. I am aware of this as a guy, so this dude really lacks awareness of what women deal with.

Social dominance is internalized out of fear of powerlessness. Most people don't have power over you, even if they get what they want ( and you don't ) . It's just a bad feeling. The people who have power over her and other women are far more likely to be men. Like husbands, employers or politicians. This isn't "just a bad feeling". These are real material, social and political dynamics. Women never have an issue about being approached by someone they already like. The issue for men is trying to…

Showing off (fore)arms. Tight t-shits. Tank tops. Tight white dress shirts. These slutty suits. Straps. The right pants. The list goes on and while I do agree that men have less options, that is because we view fashion as feminine due to historical reasons, as I outlined in another comment. This makes male fashion insanely restrictive

Bro about the vast majority of your body is covered with clothes. Of course it makes it a huge part of the overall aesthetic. You just don't want to dress well, because you've been conditioned to think that this isn't important for men, when it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 07:07 AM

This isn't how it works really and I think analysing it as a market is sorta dehumanizing. Dating apps already make us advertize ourselves like products, I think we need much less of this degrading commodification logic. Yes women are the gatekeepers to intimacy and it feels like they are choosers to you, because they hold the power over PHYSICAL intimacy. While men hold the power over EMOTIONAL intimacy, which you identify as commitment. While yes commitment is part of emotional intimacy, it's …

You didn't really contradict my argument here. Fashion does so much. You ever seen a woman without makeup or good clothes compared to when she's dressed up for a date? Much bigger difference between those looks than for guys and it's largely in the fashion. If we lived in an ideal world I'd even say that guys should do makeup but unfortunately you're instantly seen as gay if you do so. But that's why face care and nutrition is important. But it's honestly just not even as big a deal for guys as …

This is because society started viewing fashion a feminine thing around the victorian era. Before that it was a class divider, even kings wore very fancy chlothes we would now consider to be feminine. But back then tights and delicate shapes were as manly as it got for nobility. Now caring about your looks is something we think women have to do while men should dress in only what's necessary for the occasion. And even better when their clothing is functional such as cargo or work pants. This is …

The problem is the male fashion subreddit is unironically fucking useless. If you want to see actual good fashion you go to instagram or something. Look up hudsonstuffy or wisdomkaye. Also you can do a ton of stuff to look less ugly, like face care, working out, eating healthy and getting a good haircut. Fashion is much higher on the list of things that make you attractive. The point is that it's not part of their identity because men are not socialized to like fashion.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 06:21 AM

Oh men can definetely sexualize themselves with clothing. This just shows you have no clue about fashion because you never bothered to interact with it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 06:20 AM
3

As a guy who is into fashion, I agree. Most guys think a blue jeans and a white T shirt is a great fit. Men literally look like NPC's most the time. When a guy dresses well it adds so much to their aura. This is part of the reason so many think women are the more beautiful gender. It's simply because they take more care of their looks. However, I think this is difficult to do without raising the expectations for men even higher
/r/PurplePillDebate30/08/25 06:19 AM
1

It's so dumb, it's like you always have to maintain a sort of ambivalence in your behaviour towards them. They have to be unsure whether the guy likes her or not. Which is something I'd usually attribute to trauma but unfortunately all women I've dated have been like this. As soon as it's obvious that I have romantic feelings they stop being interested.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/25 03:29 PM

Your last sentence especially hit home for me. I try to be a feminist as best I can but I can also not be blind to the truth of the matter. Just today I wrecked my mind about how to actually get from meeting a woman to a relationship. And every scenario ended in a contradiction when I used womens advice. They say that they want to get to know a guy before they feel the spark. But then complain about guys who befriend them first and later on shows feelings for them. "I thought he was interested i…

As a man, yes we should all expect everyone to be good. This is a basic human trait and you should not expect to be rewarded with sex or love. Why in the world are your examples contexts in which people are AGAINST each other? I think most people only open up to friends or romantic partners. And in a friendship or a loving relationship both people should bring out the best in each other by working TOGETHER and for that you have to open up about weaknesses and insecurities. Love is not a competition, it is a cooperation. I would think this is quite obvious.

It's literally in the title that she wants to hear more male perspectives. You're just reading this in bad faith from the outset because she's a woman and you're a red pill dude.

Exactly. I also couldn't care less about seeming masculine, because i don't yee it as a value in and of itself. But when the expectation to not be vulnerable or sad is there I get socially punished for not following that expectation. And it is because I'm a man. Just in the past few weeks I've been yelled at by a male friend for crying and I've been rejected by a girl for being too open about my insecurities.

I am usually for second chances but cutting into an already deep wound for your own benefit to me is a no second chances kind of thing.

I have not heard about that. The usual feminist perspective is that traditional gender roles push everyone into boxes, thus behaving in a very feminine way is the expectation for a woman. There may be exceptions for individual qualities though. I do not think that masc women see femininity as inferior. Just like how gay people do not see being straight as inferior just because they themselves aren't straight. To me that seems a bit like you yourself may see masculinity as superior, because you v…

How does it imply they hate themselves? Feminists do not hate masculinity, they hate patriarchal, traditional masculinity which is different. There are "feminists" who are like that though, but they usually also hate trans people with a passion and I do not consider them actual feminists. To me a real feminist has to be for gender equality and gender liberation.

What exactly have you experienced? My therapist has never once inserted anything about masculinity or patriarchy and she's female

I study philosophy and I'm not even a big stoicism fan, because I think there are better philosophies, but I still love him and his great wisdoms

Sacrifice yourself for others for nothing, have less boundaries, serve others and expect nothing. What you get to do is cry about it (but only in approved ways. Also never expect empathy from anyone. Get an expensive therapist that is trained to believe that mascilinity is a mental illness). So first off, no therapist believes masculinity is a mental illness, you've been told that by red pill guys I'm guessing. Second point I have for you is that sacrificing yourself for others is not what peopl…

That is not what I said, sorry my mistake I edited the comment. I study philosophy and had philosophical anthropology class. Human nature is formed by culture and also culture is human nature. Human nature is NOT inherently selfish.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/25 05:54 PM

It is much more complicated than that. You should read philosophy and science on this. Anthorpology in particular. Also culture IS human nature so that makes it much more complex

I don't know, there are quite a few women nowadays who are more masculine and in a good way too. Like have you seen some of the muscular girls out there?

No OP, men just have to stop makig women the center of their lives and life their own life. That's what women tend to do and it's pretty healthy. Idk why you feel the need to completely stop interacting with them unless you're into men, which you don't seem to be.

I rarely find myself agreeing with redpill guys but this is actually unironically the truth of the matter. As a man we are still expected to conform to traditional roles and expectations. This is what they actually mean when they say it's the mans fault. It's because he doesn't fit into the highly specific gender expectations that women have of him. This is how women are also in part responsible for reinforcing traditional patriarchal dynamics. They expect men to be better but as soon that means…

Men need to re-learn how to do tasteful advances instead of calling girls "yummy" like bro come on

For real. This is such an uneducated take and doesn't understand objectification, ra*e or sexual expoitation at all. A lot of these actually actively harm women. Except the digital objectification, that's pretty indirect but still bad. I say this as a man. Btw OP; objectification of women is also shit for men, because it positions women as the OBJECT of desire instead of men. It thus makes men the subject who experiences said desire. And by taking that subjectivity from women it makes men feel m…

So if I find a hollywood actress or even a fictional character attractive, she's an option to me? This makes no sense to me, I'm sorry. An option is something or in this case someone you can chose. I simply cannot chose to date someone like that. Women are culturally seen as the object of desire and can simply choose from a larger pool of people that would go out with her. The only thing stopping her is internal. Not saying it's easy to change ones standards or even that women should, but that's…

That's not how a relationship works, you can't just outsource emotional work to a therapist. Also call me crazy but I don't think the prerequisite for love is to be 100% mentally healthy in an age where almost everyone struggles with mental health.

Legal ≠ Moral Yes men's immoral acts are far more likely to be physically violent like the ones you mentioned. Those tend to be illegal of course. Women's immoral actions are more likely to be verbal, social and subtle. That being said, I still don't think women do as much immoral stuff as men on average. However you would even quantify that.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/07/25 06:37 PM

Don't even get me started. They will think men who are a little too emotionally vulnerable are weak for having emotions like insecurity (ew) or for showing some mental instability. While a lot of men do not care about the womans psychological condition as a red flag (unless it's BPD or avoidant attachment which are more stigmatized in women). Most women want a man who is emotionally intelligent enough to take care of them when they feel bad, can regulate his emotions enough to not overstep bound…

Just today I saw an instagram post quoting feminist literature and it went something like this: "Straight men do not actually ever love women, they love other men for being friends, mentors, heroes etc.. Women are only there for giving them children and to take care of them." And every single comment was agreeing with it. I mean sure instagram shows you the stuff that makes you most likely to engage but it was horrible. Like this is so incredibly untrue at least in my case. And it is really inva…
