I bought five acres with a 150 year old farmhouse on it for 55k. No heat, plumbing, and the wiring was 135 years old. Put 20k in worth of materials and restored it myself (no labor cost) and now it's a gorgeous 1600 sq foot house that I'll own forever that I rebuilt exactly to my liking.

Shit, they despise me (or maybe just themselves). I'm 26 and get "dead eyes" daily from men out of the passenger seat of their wife's minivan as I cruise by in my 1970 Pontiac. That's enough to keep me on course. Never fails. Those poor bastards.

Have both. 2006 Pontiac GTO and a 1970 Pontiac Tempest. Well, I'd take a new Jeep Gladiator too, but they're just not worth the 60k they want for a rubicon.

I'm not worried about it, it's not like Reddit Karma has any tangible or intrinsic value. I can handle it. As far as a half-assed rebuttal over my morning coffee: Yes, I'm aware females bitch about "manspreading" and the like, and how ridiculous it all is. Am I going to sit in the airport, take pictures of women doing the same thing, "REEEE" a little while, resulting in no real solution or results? No. That's their game. How petty. I know it's biased, I know they really don't want equality, et…

Sorry gentlemen, but you're starting to behave a little bit like females often do. Jumping on any perceived slight and just reinforcing the knee-jerk "outrage culture". The gate looks pretty empty. Who cares if someone lounges out if there's space available and they aren't preventing others from sitting or encroaching as a result. Why waste the energy being pissed about a non-issue? Rise above. Or don't. Just a thought.

Own a farm. Enough ordinance and armor to keep it. Survival skills to operate it (the land) and keep myself alive.

Agreed. The nature and beauty are palpable, and it's so peaceful. Absolutely love it. Also, property values are very reasonable where I'm at compared to cities or more urban areas. Blows my mind when people pay an arm and a leg for a little box in the city that shares walls with a hundred other people with no yard for quadruple the price.

Be careful, that's basically a discriminatory hiring practice if you word it against females specifically.

You all love using veterans and such to reinforce arguments and illustrate what men go through and how we're treated, then post about how they're all just idiot puppets that serve Israel or the cucked government, etc. Little bit funny.

Divorce rate for active duty enlisted is like 70 percent. Don't take any baggage in with you. You'll move a lot, deploy, and she'll be at the house on base finding attention elsewhere. Seen it thousands of times. Go in stag, have fun, learn, do cool shit, save money, and if you want a family later on, go for it.

I live alone on a farm (which I paid cash for) with my black lab. Most peaceful and the happiest I've been in my life. Just about absolute freedom. 10/10 would recommend.

Actually, my income and net worth is one of the largest reasons I've stayed unmarried and never had children at 26. I'm terms of "red pills" it is constant and predictable. Whenever a female prospect has gotten an inkling or realised I'm remotely wealthy for my age, you can literally watch their behavior and tactics change and it reminds me to stay on guard and of when to cut things off. I've seen too often what happens to men and their "fortunes" when a woman gains access and children need rais…

An individual speaking in broken English advocating the removal of half the United State's Armed Forces in favor of college educated individuals because they send their members to college to get educated.... You think this through -at all-? Side note: lower enlisted individuals make around 20k a year after paying their taxes just like you. That's poverty wage just about anywhere.

Be prepared for the culture shock of your separation from whatever branch you are. Make sure you have other defining things that give you a sense of self and fulfillment if you can. Leaves a hell of a void not having that intrinsic value, sense of self and purpose that comes with military life and the mission.

Timeline of military service for men under 25: - Graduate Basic, head to Tech/A-school, end up at base where you're on your own for the first time ever. -Meet girl/stripper/barracks bunny because you're alone and lonely -year later, it's stagnated, get married and re-excited -year after marriage, bored again. Have kid one. -kid turns three, get bored, want more dependant money, have child two. -kids are 6 and 3, you've re-upped and are a lifer, get divorced.

I went into the USAF, medically retired at 23, and now live on a 5 acre farm with my dog and collection of classic pontiacs. I invest and day trade on the stock market, and am restoring and rebuilding the house on the property that was built in 1874 on my own. This is my "best life" (even though I hate that idiotic term).

Have to give credit where it's due; my mother loves cutting her lawn and has done so on her tractor for 20+ years. On the whole though... you're not wrong. Haha. She's an anomaly. Was very refreshing seeing that not all industries have turned into PC shit-holes.

Bought a 1600sq ft farmhouse on 5 acres with cash when I left the military in 2016. Single, never married, no kids. Seven people have been here since, other than myself. It's paradise. There definitely is an adjustment period, even though I'm not a full recluse/hermit in the woods. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

Sounds about right. I'm 6'6" and 270 before any gear, so I knew my whole enlistment that if I ever got injured none of my female teammates would even be able to hardly "buddy drag" me if they had to, let alone lift or move me without back up. Strength knows no gender, tho. /s

Never met a woman in the military that could remove a 37 inch beadlocked 200 pound plus UAHMMWV (Humvee) tire off of the rear hatch carrier by herself. That's an insignificant one. They have adjusted standards, tests, treatment, etc. It's all PC bullshit.

I'm setting up a trust so nobody can touch my shit. House, property, and car collection? Museum mode. Have someone secure the place, pay taxes, and mow the lawn until funds run out, then burn it down. No other person is entitled to my life's work.

Animals wouldn't approve of this, actually. 9/10 of the creatures being "stepped on" could rise whenever they chose and overpower the other, but have chosen not to. Just biology.

Beginning the 17th month of totally remodeling/restoring the farmhouse I bought that was built in 1874. Tomorrow I'll finish demo on the living room, reframe windows and doors, and hopefully get it insulated. Just been me and on occasion my father, who taught me all that I know.

Think of cattle farmers. If all cows were simply one gender, could perform both roles (producing milk, making more cows, being sold for meat, etc) and didn't need gender specific medical treatment, hygiene requirements, separate pens, and other costs, wouldn't they be cheaper to manage and easier to maintain and control? Just a thought. We're the cattle. A society with people not having genders or identities are just numbers and easier to automate and control. "I am Legion, we are many".

I mean... Not always the case. I own two houses I paid cash for and I'm twenty-six. Also had to totally remodel them on my own and restore both, which is the only reason either was possible. One was built in 1874 and the other 1910.

Bought a bottle of Glenfiddich to celebrate a fantastic week on the stock market, intending to sip that all weekend as I continue my restoration and remodel of the farmhouse I bought last year that was built in 1874. That's my branch, and it's by far the worst PC wise, and most of the females use the gender card frequently and don't work as hard. Sure, there's one of a thousand that was hardcore and went to ranger school, blah blah blah. On the whole however, that's what I saw. Lots of special treatment.

Thats a complex answer. Down south more women certainly are okay with masculinity and stoicism and traditional roles, but the movement against that is definitely everywhere, just moreso with younger females. Just depends, really. But to answer plainly: yes, it's not as bad. New York, LA, Seattle, all the cool "hip" and progressive cities here are basically dumpster fires full of SJW's.
