I hate them because they're usually so loud I can't even order a drink, much less strike up a conversation.

It depends on how you define successful. On the one extreme end, there's the guy who is laser-precise, knows exactly who his target is, what to say to them, how to escalate, and will go home with his intended target 90% of the time. A friend of mine back home was like this, and he had perfected his talent over many years. The only time he didn't go home with a girl was when he was bored of that and wanted to hang out with me. Then at the other end of the spectrum is the guy who will just approac…

Yea, being 6'1, finding a woman naturally taller than I am is kinda scary.

If she turns the bitch-knob up to 11, just pull the ripcord. After 2 or 3 back-to-back shit tests I'd have said something like "Damn, do you start every conversation like this? Have a good night." And then walk away. Not only is it one of my personal turn offs, so dropping her is a good thing for me at that point, but if she's trying to shit test you that hard, the only winning move is not to play. It tells her that you're not interested in her bullshit and that you can find someone better. Then…

Alcohol is magic in that everyone responds to it differently. Some people get tired, loopy, mellow, violent, etc. One thing it does universally is that it lowers inhibitions, so whatever that fun stuff you're doing is, it's basically you when you're not giving a shit about what happens. And ironically enough, that's the kind of attitude that is typically successful at attracting women. I'm not sure if the problem you're having is entirely about how you act while sober or if you just don't know o…

The way I was taught, and this was from a seasoned veteran who could have any woman in a bar as if he were doing a math problem, the conversation goes in 3 stages: Funny, emotional, sexual. Funny people are never turned away from a conversation, and it breaks any tension of you potentially being a creeper. Stopping there, or staying too long in funny mode, makes you a cool guy that she'd like to know, but not the guy she wants to take home with her. After that comes emotional. Talk about things …

Guys experience EXACTLY the same thing, and is possibly the number one reason why men have a hard time talking to women. Your focus is on the future. You're thinking about what it would be like to wake up next to this person every day, what kind of house you're going to live in, what your children's names will be, and when you realize that you've yet to actually get to the first step, it's panic time. The toughest, yet most productive practice I was taught when I first started practicing pickup …

There's an exercise in martial arts, the name of which I forget, where two people will repeatedly knock their forearms together in order to accomplish 2 things. First, they deaden the nerves so that they don't feel pain when they block, and second they create tiny chips in their bones that get stronger when they heal. What you need to do is to go up to really hot women that are WAY out of your league and just start talking about shit that will cause them to walk away. Assume that they are ready …

It's kind of a paradox. The attitude that you do not care whether or not a woman is interested in you is attractive to them, because it signals to them that you have enough going for you that you don't need their attention. It's a challenge, and a great deal of women (though admittedly not all) are drawn to them like a flame. The first lesson my mentor taught me was to not give a single fuck about what a woman thought of you. Accomplishing that, you are then able to converse with them more natur…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
