speaking as a current member of the armed forces, I promise you that at least 90% of servicemembers will hup-to for whoever is signing their paycheck or promising their college benefits or pension, as much as I wish it were different

if you're still single today, congratulations, you've successfully avoided another "cuffing season". you got to skip all the big spendy holidays - xmas, thanksgiving, new years, and v-day. you also didn't have to spend any of these "big, important" holidays with anyone else's relatives. you should be free and clear for the next 8 months or so until Karen in HR begins telling you about her fat friend with 2 kids who would be "so perfect for you"

I've thought about the same thing too. Start a charity for divorced men to help with their alimony and bills etc. It will have to be marketed as somehow for the children in order to get that tax exempt status. Then all donations could be tax deductible and we the taxpayers could finally have a goddamn say in how the revenue is spent

Working in the home renovation industry with entitled bored housewives hovering over me while I installed their crap was the most stressful time of my life. Too much internet is bad for you, for the same reason that too much TV is. It is important to keep up with what's going on in the world these days but watching too much of the news or even reading too much on here can result in being overwhelmed with that feeling of "everything is all fucked up in the world". The trick is to find a balance in hobbies that are enriching and enjoyable

Sanderson does a good job finishing up, but you can definitely tell that it's two different authors. Still a great ending. I started reading these as a teen back in the 90s, and it was a series I grew up with, waiting on a new book to come out every 3 years or so
/r/MGTOW27/09/19 12:40 AM

Big fan of the series too. They're currently filming for a TV series from these books, kind of like game of thrones style. I think it will air sometime in 2020.

This too. When I was in college I dated a girl who was a childhood education major. One night we were studying together. She got angry at me because she was done with her work long before I was, and was bored and I wasn't paying attention to her. I was studying calculus. Her assignment was to draw a picture of a classroom. Literally draw it with crayons. Most college degrees are barely worth the paper they're printed on these days, imo

Letters like these in the care packages were our favorite when we were in Iraq. I got one once that said something like "you're all going to die in a nuclear war so thanks for dying for us I guess" and that gave us all a good laugh. we hung it up on the wall. It's important to have a good sense of humor.

After the divorce I was majorly depressed for about a year. Couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, lost about 20 lbs. After that I decided to stop being the victim and got myself back together, started hitting the gym almost obsessively and eating right and got a rock star body. It was then I realized that's really all it took - there was literally no effort required to get laid by all sorts of women. No romance, no "game", none of that bullshit was necessary. All I had to do was just show up. Just havin…

This was a very interesting article. I'm amazed at the level of cognitive dissonance shown by her - she goes on a "man free" trip on her Prius, almost certainly built by men, driving on roads that were built by men, buying groceries that was likely grown, processed and delivered by men, and so on and so forth. What's really interesting is that this article full of anger and bitterness even exists, while at the same time we all know that when MGTOW finally hits the mainstream it will be derided a…

"I don't date co workers, nothing personal" should take care of it. This is actually a good idea altogether. If that doesn't work for some reason, go ahead and go on the date. To be a captain of some sort of vessel, you'll need to be an officer, which means you'll need to come in with a college degree (or there are programs to get one while you're enlisted but you're probably better off starting with a bachelors). The worst thing about the modern medical system is how quick they are to just throw pills at you. that's too bad, it's actually an entertaining read and a really well-written case study into the female mind, great for those of you who are curious how a mundane task like moving a box up a few flights of stairs can lead to breaking down in tears

In a relationship, you spend more money, work harder to make the money, and therefore pay more in taxes. So it benefits TPTB to push the narrative of the "happy family", even in this fucked up day and age

There's a line in the good book that says, "render unto Caesar what is Caesar's". Or to put it in more modern terms, "toe the company line". This is your chosen profession, and for your own sake it's not the best time to make a stand. You're not going to make a change this way; you'll only make things harder on yourself. Be the Grey Man at work, but when you're on your own time, never forget what you truly believe.

well, i'd recommend finding out what you truly enjoy. if you did an activity like write music or go to the gym, or studying, reading classics, or working hard to make money, and your true goal was just to impress women, then that thing wasn't really for you. find out what it is that drives you and holds your interest. or, you know, just keep playing video games if that's what you really want, it's your life

Congrats on living within your means and making more than you spend - I seriously mean that. I read somewhere that 50% of people in the US have a negative net worth. The next step for you to be wealthy is to take all that money you have sitting in the bank doing nothing, and invest it. Mutual funds are good if you don't want to be constantly managing a stock portfolio

It may not be that bad in Bumblefuck, Nebraska, but if you head to a major metropolitan area you definitely get the feeling of overpopulation, just through simple things like standing in line at a bar or trying to find a parking spot.

7 billion people on planet Earth is not sustainable. The social ramifications of the conscious or subconscious realization of that, I can't speak to. But I'm just saying. One day we'll run out of easy to burn energy (oil/coal) and then shit will become a LOT different

Our "software" (cultural consciousness, societal mores, and so forth) are constantly evolving to adapt to our environments (this community is a prime example of this!) But.. Our hardware (biology) is still the same as it was 50,000 years ago.

It's amazing how free you really are once you've gotten away from the trap of "gotta have more stuff". It's really surprising how far $25k/yr can get you when you're not a slave to society's definition of the latest and greatest doohickey that you gotta have. Congrats on figuring that out.

sounds to me like not much you can do about this going forward, but next time, never, ever mix alcohol and women. A good general rule that I follow is never get drunk in public - I only drink at home or someone's house around people whom I trust completely.

honestly, no. I'm not an activist. I'm not here to "raise awareness" or convert anyone else to my way of thinking. And I don't want the negative attention that this would bring in the event someone does know what it means.

I think what's worse about it is the pretty transparent cuckold and incest agendas that are being pushed from porn these days. Load up a porn site now and just browse through the default selection, take a note of how many "Wifey BBC" and "Stepmom/sister" videos there are out there. I never thought I'd be the one to say this but it's true, porn is for degenerates now.

I've never been a big fan of the youtubers anyway. But that's because I would much prefer to read something than have it read...to...me....very...slowly in a monotone or even worse, a synthesized voice. I wasn't even aware of the people asking for donations for their videos. I suppose that's their prerogative to pass around the hat if they choose, but it's not anything worth getting too worked up over in my opinion.

Hell yeah. For me, the main reason I don't date is not because I'm afraid of a woman stealing all of my money in a divorce, getting me thrown in jail on a rape or DV accusation, or giving me an "oops" baby (although I am aware of all of these possibilities), but moreso because honestly, all of that shit that goes along with a relationship is a hassle, and I'm a busy man. I don't want to plan dates. I don't want to entertain her or watch retarded TV shows. I don't want to stay out at some shithol…

De-gloving is the term for this that I'm familiar with. I used to work as a mechanic and it was always a fight with my then-wife about why I would take off my wedding ring at work. I had to show her pictures on the internet to make her understand.

The secret to skipping all the aggravation at the grocery store is to go early in the morning, like 7-8 am. There's practically no one there, you'll pretty much have the store to yourself. At this time of day the working folks are all off at work or getting ready for work, and the welfare folks rarely make it out of the house before 10-11 am.

I went through AIT four years ago. Shit was exactly the same back then, female trainees would flirt with the Sergeants there and get away with all kinds of horseshit that a man would get nailed to the wall for. You are on the right path. Women in the Army are big time trouble, because the Army has been, for for a long time now, on a massive witch-hunt to find and prosecute anything remotely related to sexual harassment. So all that stuff you've read about "guilty until proven innocent" in regard…

The defendants were cops. There's a different legal system for them vs. the rest of us. That's the only reason they walked. Or do you think this would have been the same if they were 3 fast food workers?
