All I can really say is what has worked for me. I don’t seek belonging with my world or political views. They just are what they are and I don’t need to worry about anyone else’s.

I’m a wordy one.

Let’s just be real here. Many young men have been raised by single moms or uninterested dads and have never had another dude speak truth to them. They grow up playing video games and doing nothing much with their time, and get resentful of the assholes who are pulling chicks left and right, so they will never listen to those guys because they don’t want to be “like that”. They’re good guys after all. It isn’t their fault. It doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with them. They simply haven’t lea…

I think it’s like anything. There’s some truth to it. But as people glom onto the idea, it loses its main message and gets ridiculous

I half think that the whole rise of the alt-right bullshit is borne out of the crisis that men are in right now. I may hate these rednecks with a passion, but they aren't exactly the cream of the crop. Men are lesser educated, have worse mental health issues, and no one gives a fuck. They instead focus on imaginary things like a gender pay gap or how oppressed they are, regardless of the fact that men have very real, substantive issues that not only need to be addressed, but need to be acknowled…

I think we agree.

I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, and I’m always very doubtful when I hear about these stories and ask lots of questions. I’ve heard countless stories of bona fide sexual harassment from women.

Sure. I’m just saying... while I don’t typically befriend females, I tend to keep a number of fuck buddies around who have told me some stories that would make you cringe at the level of thirsty bullshit that women put up with. It’s purely anecdotal, and admittedly not data based in any way, but fuck... when you have a little game and hear about these awkward simps who act all weird and shit to get female attention... it suddenly doesn’t become hard to believe stats like this.

Idk, dude. Just because you or I wouldn’t cross a line into harassment doesn’t mean there aren’t a ton of thirsty ass creepy dudes out there who would.

I don’t know. I don’t personally care much about this. I only care about the double standard being on full display. If genders were reversed, this person would not be employed

Yes. I have known for some time. My username is supposed to be mocking of misandrists, but often isn’t understood.

What a load of shit. It would be logical taht they should oppose violence against anyone, not just women.

I love this post, man. I'm 20 years your junior, but feel like I went through the same exact process just a few years ago.

Yep. Pathetic is really the only word I could think of when she left. I was thinking that it would be good for us to do some reconciliation and try to be friendly for the kids' sake. What I learned was that she was so desperate for attention and resources (and her former life) that she was willing to embarrass herself to the point of criminality. To your point about better waiting for you... yep. Actually minutes after the ex left, the neighbor girl (and former coworker) texted me, asking why …

Took a looooong time, but this and the other RP sub were invaluable in helping me finally get it.

There is nothing sweeter than denying her when she comes crawling back after her affair. I hit the gym hard, got a new job making about 40k more a year, had a new house of my own, stopped drinking, lifting daily, was running marathons, and banging girls 15 years younger than me, when my ex tried to weasel her way back into my life, saying she wanted to hang out as friends one night. She sat on my sofa, and within one beer, started trying to get on top of me, taking her shirt off, stuff like that…

Wait. The fact that your wife is cheap and you get sex whenever you want is what led to you having an affair? I’m confused

I don’t understand some of the hate for this post. If your woman is fucking you well and often, you should also provide the feeling of security offered by cuddling.

Working out, applying myself at work, being a kick ass dad, dressing well, making good money, having hobbies that interest me.

No. That we need a body positivity movement for men... I could give a fuck about a fuck with respect to what any woman (or man) thinks about my body. I generate my own approval.

This feels an awful lot like feminizing of men.

I love how the first thing she does when shoved is to act like a man is supposed to stick up for her. Apparently not enough thirsty betas around at the time.

Word. I don’t need an argument. You do. You make vapid generalizations and provide zero substantive evidence to prove your point, other than your own prejudices, and act like your point is made. It isn’t. I would be amazed if you went to college. I would also seriously question the validity of your credentials.

There’s no arguing with your absolute and complete wild conjecture. You offer zero evidence to back it up. It’s just your fucking opinion, dipshit.

Dude, if I have to explain to you why women should have an equal voice in our government, then I am probably in the wrong sub.

Dude, just because we believe in a positive identity for men doesn’t mean we have the right to be morons. This is moronic and should be deleted.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
