I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm saying the first amendment is what protects people from the government for their use of speech. Free speech itself is not limited to government silencing you. If a private university wants to ban hate speech on their campus, they can, and they are perfectly within their right to do so. But that college campus would not be defined as a place that supports and protects free speech.

In case anyone doesn't know the context of the trees. Surrounding the large, main Christmas tree in front of the white house were 50+ smaller Christmas trees, representing each state (some territories as well). Each tree was lit by lights all using different code, so their color and pattern was different. I like it all except for the last bar graph about the average prison sentence. I would change it to show the difference in sentences for the same crime, not just crime in general. Also, maybe throw in something about how women live significantly longer? Overall though, very good.

Ok. Despite no physical evidence, Grissom was convicted in 2003 of raping Ylen outside a Meijer store in St. Clair County and sentenced to at least 15 years in prison. Because birth control is still a controversial issue. Viagra has been covered by health insurance for a while, but the birth control pill still is not covered by all insurance companies. I don't know about false accusations being hard to prove...I've seen many examples of when people admit to making false rape claims, or people who's story and accusation fall apart. I don't think that people who say they were raped should go to jail because their alleged rapist was not found guilty. The most in depth study I looked at found that it wasn't 77 cents for every dollar, but 93 cents.
