Dating is 100 years old. Far from beginning of time.

Dating is not even 100 years old. You don't need to do it period. Sick of her not paying? Do free stuff.

Didn't give up. Set a reminder to send a kind text weekly then move to daily. Something simple, "good morning, I love that you're my daughter". Slowly move to XYZ happened today and it reminded me of a time when you were little and.....I love you sweetie. Be consistent and she'll start opening up.

A different woman. Almost impossible to find nowadays. One who truly leaves her family to create their own. Doesn't have an ego and is feminine rather than masculine, which means not controlling, argumentative, nit picky, nagging, etc. One who understands the children are secondary to her relationship with her husband.

It hurts knowing someone you cared for and love is out their destroying their soul and there's nothing you can do to save/help them

Dude you improved, awesome. She hasn't changed, her comment is still putting ALL the blame on you and she knows you'll take that and feel guilty. Don't let her take your peace you found.

You need to sit down and talk to her. The way she's speaking is disrespectful You have expectations that haven't been voiced and so does she. Communicate to understand not to be understood

Dude, you had an ea BECAUSE of how you were treated by your wife. You have Stockholm's syndrome. She had this dude and this dude waited for 11+ years over promises and nothing else? Give me a break. She lied from the beginning.

Sounds like the proper way, especially considering stats showing Father's raise children better than mother's, except outliers

Thanks I was curious as it impacts and controls not only the father but the kids as well. My attorney started the same thing, statute of limitations, let it settle plan then come back when it doesn't look retaliatory

That doesn't answer my question. I only asked one simple question

That's not my question.

That's not the point. Do you have any professional capacity to diagnose anyone? If not, then you are speculating and that's not your role

I don't have first hand knowledge of what happened between them, he was a kind neighbor and helped us when we needed it. She was kind and neighborly as well. You aren't a professional, you don't know whether he is an alcoholic or not. It's not your place to diagnose nor speculate about anything

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
