Look: life sucks sometimes. You get up, then work only to get knocked down again. But death sucks more, because you lose the ability to get up again. Maybe involve yourself in community work? How do you think men have it rough? Maybe do something to fix it?

Equality of priviledge was great... but they didnt want equality of responsibility. During good times they got to boss men around, once the bombs fell they left to continue the party while men die.

When I dont have much to do at work I spend my time putting on the dishwasher and chatting. When I do my actual job I do less. If anything this reflects poorly on women in the office.

She is right though. Manipulating people by withholding what they need actually works. What she neglects to mention is that it only works as long as the person has no other options once options appear they will leave. This is the eqiuivalent of companies hiring trainees for peanuts- its very effective at getting bodies through the door, but once these trainees get some experience on their resume and get better options they will leave.

If you suck as a person no one will want to hang with you. That only applies to men. Men need something about them to make people enjoy their company. This person has lived their whole life as a woman so as a man they dont know the ropes.

Sex in itself doesnt matter that much. Yes there is stigma to virginity but to most people loving relationships are more important. If he is deeply depressed prostitutes cant really help and relationships will be hard to find in his situation and even if he did its less likely to be healthy. Instead of paying for a prostitute it might be better to pay for a psychologist. Then invite him to social events, because social loneliness sucks too and if your gf invites some of her female friends too th…

I think its a combination of confirmation bias and bad luck. The way I see it we have 3 main groups. 1 There are women who genuinely experience harassment at some point. 2 There are also a lot of women who believe they will be exposed to harassment, so they look for it more carefully and may imagine it even when it doesnt actually happen. 3 Then there are some women who will go out of their way to find things that offends them for attention. All three groups exist, there are also many women like…

Stop and think dude... Why would she consider alimony and prenups bad? Because she already considers your money hers. Then why should you pay for her if she decides to leave you?

This is your lizard brain, yes. There is a potential, but its tiny and you shouldnt live with that fear. Given her promiscuity she probably uses protection, so shes has a 0.1% risk to you. Lets assume she has had 10 partners last period. Thats now a 0.01% risk to you. You wore protection, so now its a 0.0001% chance. There will always be a risk, but Id consider that risk tolerable.

Your advice might work for some, but in general I wouldnt recommend feminist hatesubs to people struggling to understand women. It would be like me going to a nascar race to understand americans- It doesnt give a good overview, it only shows you a tiny extreme part of the society. If you want to understand someone discourse is a far better tool.

The issue is that our biological instincts are far older than our modern views on marriage. Even today we see in other parts of the world hypergamy being common. Osama bin laden had 22 wives as an example. Even in the west we have the much villanized "fuckboys" who are really only recreatibg these old patterns. The reality is that for every man procreating there has been around 4 women, meaning that only 1 out of 4 men has spread their genes to our times. So when we are fighting for equal rights…

The reason rape convictions are so common is that the regular innocent untill proven guilty and that it needs to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt doesnt apply. Many cases are he said she said, and the fact that she said it happened is enough. Because we have to #believeallwomen

I am torn on the issue. Because on one hand you are spot on: trolling posts are a great way to get information across to third party readers. But on the other hand we have to reckognize that we are a moderately sized sub. If we suddenly get in the target of a womens sub we can easily be drowned out, and people will leave the sub as a result. Or on the other extreme if we suddenly get discovered by an extreme incel group this sub will be closed down very swiftly. Open dialogue is great, but it on…

I think one of the biggest issues in society is how many people want increased priviledges, but are unwilling to shoulder increased responsibilities. Voting rights should be kept wide, but we have to realize the duties associated with it too. The issue we have is that women get a majority of rights, but leave a majority of obligations for men. Its easy to say that more needs to be done when they dont need to do it themselves

Im not particularly smart. So I struggled through my degree. I chose to live miserly so I could spend less time working a paid job and more time doing unpaid internships. You should have discretly started an audio recording. Then you should have told her you are not interested in her that way and gone to sleep. If she hadnt accepted that you should have asked her to leave. The issue in this situation was that she was probably too drunk to realize you werent interested. You cant view it as either you get a relationship or you rot away. If you do you will never find anyone. In my 20ies practically the only women talking to me were family. So I started living life for myself. This made me happier, which is attractive. Wealthier, which is attractive. And most importantly I was no longer desperate, which is so important to women. Cultures change, but its not a magic fix. I had a coworker in your shoes, a bit awkward and as he was closing on 40 he looked to more traditional places of the world. He found a seemingly nice woman. The issue is that incels arent really useful to women. They are also a group without a strong representative that can front their case- to do so would be social suicide. So they have become a group that is easy to use as an insult both to incels and to any man who dares to front mens rights.

The issues is that so many sees mens worth tied to what we can give to women. Feminists may have freed women from gender roles, but men are as tied to them as ever. When the average person talks to you they evaluate your worth. The first question most people ask is "what do you do for a living", because a highly paid lawyer or executive is far more valuable than your average John Doe. To me dating apps are designed to hook you in by lessening your self worth and tying it to likes. The bar scene is instant gratification and shallow. Maybe im just old, but these modern ways I dislike because they dont allow for serious connections. Meeting through common friends, bonding over shared experiences and being vulnerable not giving behind a screen or alcohol thats the way to date. Id not date on apps.

Not having kids is a choice women are free to make, but they should be aware that it is a choice. Too often it seems like a game of how you can blame men for womens problems. Feminists wants to be both empowered and the victim, but those two are opposites. I agree, we should have realistic conversations about expectations for women (just like we have with men) but in the end people must choose for themselves if they are happier single. I think this is particularly true for women who might get a lot of flings with men that ticks a boxes in their 20ies. After that it might be hard to adjust when its time to settle down. Comparison destroys happiness.

I will agree that standards for a lot of women are too high, and that most are not that good at communicating what they need and like. Not womens fault. They are not required to explain themselves to anybody. But if we had older people tell us these things then it might not be as much frustration. I just want to add why: If you let someone be rude to you then A- they will learn that its accepted and B- you will learn to accept it. You are what you do, and if you let yourself be mistreated this will continue. Act like the person you want to be.

Why bother going out into a hostile environment to find a job and a girlfriend when the need for a sense of achievement, along with sexual desire, can be sated in your childhood bedroom, however artificially? Why indeed? Im so happy im a bit older, because I feel sorry for the youths of today.

"Feminists wants the authority of a man, the priviledge of a woman, the accountability of a child and the freedom of a wild animal". Spot on. Equality isnt a pick'n'mix. But feminists doesnt want equality, they want to pick the parts they like.

Its definetely possible, to lose weight, but it is far easier to just not gain that weight to begin with. I cant speak of hard it is because I have never done it, but I have several colleagues who struggle. These are hardworking and successful people, they just struggle with weight.

Yeah, men generally score far lower on agreeableness than women, which creates the issues in unity. There are many mens rights people with physical presences, but whereas more agreeable women usually put differences aside men focus on those differences. In the womens rights marches they might disagree on some issues but they march together regardless, men are far harder to mobilize. To give an extreme example: Coco Chanel was a fucking nazi, yet feminists still stand behind her feminist ideals. …

What feminists have done so well is sticking together. By creating a "sisterhood" you get allies that help each other simply based on sex. This is extremely efficient at getting a point across, the issue is that it removes nuance. Its the same thing military tries to do. Mens rights doesnt have a "brotherhood". We are all different people with vastly different goals and expectations. This hinders unity and stops us from getting one message across.

Preteen: You are valuable. Dont get involved in drama. Work hard, what you work on doesnt matter but the habits you form now lasts a lifetime. Teen: do well in school. Get into a decent to high paying field, not what fulfills you. Ally yourself with good friends and dont drink with strangers. 20ies. This is just the start of your life. Take care of your body, if you gain weight now its hard to drop. Work hard now for easy 30ies.

Common fears are centered around career progression, Jenner believes. Am I able to have my career with all of these equality inclusion discussions going on? or am I second best because there’s a stronger woman, or there’s an underrepresented minority who’s going to get this role? So its the mans fault for wanting to get the job when he is the most qualified? This issue is easily fixed: just stop discrimination.

When there she complains she cant find men. So what reason does she give at the feminist rally? Because boys arent having conversations about feminism. She takes no accountability and has a history of pushing men out and making men out to be the villains. No well qualified man will risk his career in her claws.

I think its gendered, though men are asked to smile too smiling affects women way more as they are supposed to be more emotional from society. However, even if gendered I dont see a simple suggestion as an issue. We suggest that others straighten their backs, cuts "ums" and other fillers from their vocabulary. We constantly show each other how to improve, it would be an issue if we didnt.

Well, the fact is that many are like I was. I have several of my coworkers that I fear for post retirement. They do nothing outside of work. No grandkids, no hobbies, no interest, just work mindlessly killing time and sleep. What is a man when he is no longer useful? To a large part of society nothing. Well, its similar between 10-14 years old, thats too young and too small numbers. After 14 the difference is stark. I think it has to do with the feeling of failure. Notice how frequently old men kill themselves- they are used up by society. I was convinced at university, I would either get a good job after my degree or life wasnt worth it. Supply and demand works the same if you feel oppressed or not. I get it, I have tried dating women way out if my league and I let them get away with far more than I should have. Absolutely, tradeoffs need to happen. In that example our right to privacy is balanced against our right to property. I believe marriage can be a positive. There is something really powerful in saying thst you think youll love them to the end of days. The issue today is that its weaponized to oppress people. Marriage is just a tool, it can be used both positively and negatively.

Dont mind them- as you say pick me is a horrible term. It is actually similar to incel- it tries to insinuate that you are lonely and desperate. By preying on these most vulnerable emotions they will try to ridicule you. And sadly for many it works- people get uncomfortable and pull back from discussions. Im glad you proceed regardless. Getting picked is ny far preferable to them living lonely and bitter. If I can borrow a term I'd say "you go girl".

First off, to understand it watch this video: https://youtu.be/MWuioTsbNDE Now, you can say what you will on Edward scissorhand there- but he sums up feminist ideology really well: men are meant to be submissive. Even feminists have toilets, and when those break they need a worker ant to fix it. So as a man they need you to grow up, get a job they need, collect wealth women can enjoy and maintain a stable home they can live in. Women on the other hand should get these services from men, so why s…

All bros are beautiful at any size ? We are, and you can. If you want to wear makeup go for it. We men should start with the simple act of choosing when to give a fuck. Far too many times kindness will be exploited and its wearying. Men often derive their worth from what they are doing and who they are helping and in the face of adversity this often leads to them trying to help others to substitute for self worth. The fact is that internal happiness isnt something that magically appear from helping others, you need to help yourself first. Second. When you want to help others the key is to …

Get your degree if you havent already. In the workplace record 1:1 conversations that can seem serious (if this is legal in your country) and dont socialize more than mandatory. I dont really care too much about being seen or heard, I think the important thing is to stop supporting bad actionsregardless of gender. I have a colleague, she is great, vocal about her body issues and always willing to help others. For her topics like weight and body should be avoided... Unless its Greta Tunberg doing the insult for a good cause. If anybody, men or women, want to be for equalty then trade out the genders and social status in situations and react as you would for both genders.…

I think this will depend on the newspaper, but it is definetely something OP needs to take into consideration.
/r/MensRights03/01/23 10:26 AM

This is why it is important for both the person taking action as well as the person receiving the action to communicate together, especially with someone new. Well- if the person you are with arent taking actions that should be a warning sign. Even if you might not consider spitting, hairpulling or shoving kinks you should still expect the other person to be reciprocrating with positive attention. As you say communication is so important, so you need to get that going before proceeding.
/r/MensRights03/01/23 04:26 AM

She wasn't into how rough he was being, but never communicated it. Yes he could of asked her what she was into too, but never did. A lot of woman don't like a guy asking questions constantly during sex and want them to just take lead Taking the lead is completely fine, you dont need to ask questions. But with taking the lead comes responsibility. Responsibility to read the situation, and responsibility to make it an enjoyable evening. The further you stray into kinks and the further you stray in…

Thats not how it works. We need to keep people accountable for their actions regardless of inebriation (provided they willfully put themselves in that state). The person who does the action is responsible for the action. Him shoving and spitting on her has nothing to do with if she told him off for it right after.

It was not a relationship status situation where they are going to discuss who is into what sexually especially in the middle of the night both when they are both high and drunk. If I am uncertain if someone wants to be spat on, then I dont spit on them. If I am drunk that needs to be taken into consideration and I should be even more certain before doing stuff like that. Being high and drunk is a reason to take more care you are on the same page not less.
/r/MensRights03/01/23 03:06 AM

First off: consider career implications. I laud you for wanting to choose a brave topic, but depending on field and how large the newspaper is this can have real implications for your future. Second: if you are ready to take this brave step then prison sentencing is a good place to start. In general there is a lot on how courts treat men that can be brought to peoples attention. This is concrete, it has some data and because of this its a good starting point.
/r/MensRights03/01/23 02:55 AM

Well- this is actually split into many issues. Shoving/spitting can be considered assault when done against someones will, but here she doesnt seem to have stopped him. So this is not assault. Then its the oral and any other contact. This is hard because she says she doesnt remember. So assault can have happened, but there is no evidence of it. She was drunk and uncomfortable, but she was concious and aware so thats not the same as assault I agree with OPs assesment here: I am ok with my husband…

Bodily autonomy is definetely a issue of mens rights. I have heard it mentioned here several times. Babies cant consent to the procedures and so it shouldnt be done until the person can make an informed decision about it. It is a legitimate discussion if banning it would increase home surgeries, but if its banned then there will at least be legal recompense for the victims.
/r/MensRights03/01/23 12:32 AM

So the issue is that we talk about mens "needs"? I would think a country with public healthcare accepted that their duty is to take care of peoples medical needs, regardless of gender.

Because of a percieved lack of trust. Many people (myself included) is averse to conflict. So we wait to talk about stuff like this. Then when men after birth demand a paternity test it looks like they dont believe the baby look like them and they expect infidelity. There is an easier solution to this, but that requires that we take the bull by its horn: we need to tell women that we want a paternity test asap. Preferably before there is a fetus. This way its easier to say that its not distrust …

/r/MensRights02/01/23 04:42 PM

Yes, we can say that those two are not the same. But its still great for an analogy. Because both are highly uncomfortable for me and I wouldnt get involved with either. The analogy doesnt make sense to you because you only dislike one, but thats the beauty of prefrences-we can all have one. Im sure that things I like isnt your cup of tea either, just like on abortions.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 02:59 PM

The analogy makes perfect sense- showering like we do in the west is bad for our skin. So with your logic Even though I stink my partner should be with me-after all Im just excersising my right of bodily autonomy. She also shouldnt leave me just because I call all other women fat cows... after all I have freedom of speech. There are lot of things that we could do with our freedom of speech that we shouldnt do.

There are many things that are human rights... that doesnt mean you cant exclude them from your dating pool. I am well within my rights to stop showering, wouldn't that be a valid reason to break up? It is a right after all... You should ask yourself: do you want a world where people are free to have their own preferences or do you want a world where people should stick together despite sexual incompability.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 01:38 PM
21

Attraction doesnt need to be rationally explained. Either its there or it isnt, and if it isnt OP shouldnt stay. I'd only be worried about STDs myself in this scenario... That is perfectly fine. If your attraction is still there thats your prefrence. Your prefrence is valid, just like OPs.
/r/MensRights02/01/23 11:44 AM

She is allowed to have her history, you are allowed to not accept it. This is a perfectly valid reason to break up. Even though you might be fine with sexual promiscuity that doesnt mean you are fine with many abortions. I certainly wouldnt be even though I support abortion rights I also believe in responsible use of contraceptions. You are right to feel the way to do. If you want to work with her then therapy is smart, but you might Also want to just leave.

Yup... Biologcally women survived by being middle of the pack, uniting together. Men succeeded by being the strongest/smartest or the best hunter. I dont think technology can ever replace social interactions. Because the thrill of sex isnt in "getting off" its in the relationships we form. Wanking, sex robots or prostitution can never really compete with the whole aspect of working with another person to do something that feels great. A robot can never replicate that, because it doesnt give you what you want because it desires you, it gives you what its programmed to.

but what good does it do to keep smearing masculinity as some sort of "prison" when most of these male traits are what allowed men to literally flourish humanity to what it is today? You assume people care about the long term. Too many people only care about themselves in the short term. I prefer women with fewer partners and partners from monogamous relationship (as I have the same experience). This doesnt give me the right to judge anybody for having different values. To put someones value purely in amount in sex partners is no more ok when you do it to women than it is if they do it to you. New year new me is a great sentiment to put the past behind you and work towards a better future. Nobody regardless of gender should be shamed for wanting to be better.

I get the frustration. But remember that although some women abuse the legal system, many do not. You walk into the same trap as the extreme feminists, some men rape, so therefore men are evil. Here is why a guide to prenups cant be done on a general basis, where I live this would never work. Prenups here need to be officially sent in to a public register. In general courts are skewed towards women, so any place where things like this is the case even prenups cant be relied upon. But a good lawyer would here have put in a specific clause that no oral agreement can override the prenup.

I feel almost like its my obligation to say something so people know what kind of person she is and know to either avoid her or beware of red flags if they become involved in her life, but i fear that i partake in risking my own reputation and safety by doing so. If you could warn others, that would be your moral obligation, but why would they listen to the jealous ex (which is how she will spin it). Depends on the masculinity. The silent husband supporting his wife is great, but if he talks against his wife and is right then that can quickly lose them the audience. Take Jamie foxx in dad stop embarrasing me. Its fine to be a masculine man in a sitcom, but you need to be wrong enough of the time. I cant think of any strong willed macho men in sitcoms that hit home. But that being said Im no expert in the genre.

The issue is that prenups are location dependent. I could write the requirements for my country, but if you followed the same guidelines you could get screwed. Me giving that advice could give a false sense of security to you, so its best to stay quiet. The only general advice I can give that will be important no matter where you are is that if you are in doubt see a solicitor.

That Wikipedia definition really highlighted why men go their own way. To got your own way doesnt mean you hate women, just like women being independent doesnt mean they hate men. And if society continues to judge everything you do for yourself as being anti-women then of course you will distance yourself from society. Herbivore men is a really good term too, and Japan has an extreme distance between genders. Unless we want japanese culture to take root here we need to improve. To me the point o…

Thats called knowing the audience. Simple sitcoms are mainly watched by women, so the network cant bite the hand that feeds them. I actually dont mind the network, they are just trying to earn the most money. The issue here is the mindless consumers who cant be challenged, as well as society for creating these echo chambers. If we are to avoid growing divides people need to be challenged. As long as people cant handle challenges networks will continue to pump out the content that earns them mone…

What you got to understand is that women in general are far more averse to conflict. Biologically they need social cohesion so they need to be more circumspect in their interactions than men. That being said most women can be both great and horrible, just like most men. You have just been unfortunate in seeing their bad side. You cant change your past interactions, but can you see a common thread in when the bad interactions happened? Even if its not your fault you may still be able to fix it.

Men are on average more active in formative years. Boys learn more from practical excercise than to sit on their butt the whole day. This issue is increased by women being the majority of teachers. This will compound over all the years of education. Then when its time for grades the same female teachers grade papers, and girls are more likely to please the teachers and get better grades for the same work. The solution is more active learning (which suits both girls and boys, but girls are just b…
