Suit yourself but leaving an entire country instead of evaluating why you can’t attract the women you want just seems extreme. I think you’re upset because OP demonstrates how important markets and factors like gender ratio are in dating. The more men that are aware of this, the less it advantages women. Dating as a straight male in San Jose and Seattle had me convinced I was an uggo and I refused to believe the skewed gender ratio and type of women in those areas played a role, when simply trav…

But it's actually woman still doing their roll as much or more as men. Compared to when? Women's "role" in the home has become much less intensive, but it's portrayed as the opposite by journalists (whiny women who probably can't make scrambled eggs without burning them). Emily Post is no more. Domestic chores have become notably less labor- and time-intensive over the past century, not to mention it's almost entirely outsourced for the upper-middle class with nannies (pod tutors during COVID), …

"Pill" and IDW-related sites tend to draw people who, at the very least, have a healthy sense of skepticism and are open to challenging their beliefs with data. Of course, studies cannot be accepted blindly and there's plenty of sloppy scholarship and fuzzy thinking (particularly in the social sciences), but there's significant real-world benefit to that kind of analytical thought. Example: Researching crime statistics, school performance and other factors in moving to a new neighborhood or purc…

We now live in a world where the left wing are acting like righteous Christians and trying to censor every day life and burn books that disagree with their philosophies, while somehow blue collar labor workers are viewed as the enemy instead of allies, but that's a more recent change. Quite true. Did you read Taibbi's latest column touching on this? https://taibbi.substack.com/p/the-left-is-now-the-right

That's not true — social welfare spending is the majority (> 50%), of Federal spending when you combine Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid. Defense spending is approximately 31%. It's even greater when you consider state-level spending, which is usually dominated by HHS (Health and Human Services) spending. (Usually followed by K-12, Higher Education and Corrections.) What are the major effects this has on society if this trend continues? U.S.-specific: A permanent Democrat majority in the United States, with increased support for larger social safety nets (i.e., "democratic socialism"). This is at odds with its expensive, graying populations and the national debt. The effects of demography will become amplified in all arenas (education, crime, etc.). Much-maligned "gaps" between groups will magnify. America's upper-class will solidify not just culturally and…

They didn't even make marriage for women. They made it for men. In exchange for one extravagant party and a ring, these men get a life of indentured servitude and pussy. Are you forgetting that marriage (across numerous cultures) used to require a dowry from the bride's family? Men were compensated for marrying, not the other way around. It's only since the advent of the welfare state and women's lib it reversed.

> TRP mistreat women and litter society with bastards and single mothers Cleetus and Tyrone aren't spending time on Red Pill forums or discussing dating strategy — they're knocking up equally low-value women in their proximity. The lower-classes (now quite diverse in America, whereas it was disproportionately a black problem in the 1950s and 1960s) embody the selfish impulses of FDS and TRP. Society is stuck with the consequences (bastard children who pollute the education system and prisons, in…

This echoes my experience as well, and I think it stems from their divergent takes on human nature. Being decentralized at its core, TRP tenants have been crowdsourced for decades, where its data points accumulate into hypotheses that undergo real-world testing by tens of thousands of men. TBP doesn't test for evidence, and doesn't pretend that testing is even necessary, much like a religion. They just repeat their dogma, believing themselves to be on the "right side of history" with the inside …

Most women provide for themselves, these days. 43% of all births in the United States are to women on Medicaid (welfare). "Most women provide" with heavy subsidy from the government or men in their lives. https://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2017/06/27/534436521/from-birth-to-death-medicaid-affects-the-lives-of-millions https://www.kff.org/medicaid/state-indicator/births-financed-by-medicaid/?currentTimeframe=0&sortModel=%7B%22colId%22:%22Location%22,%22sort%22:%22asc%22%7D

> And the percentage of the entire cost of social assistance is 20% while military is 60% That's completely wrong. You have the inverse of reality there. Social services and welfare account for 51% of the Federal Budget, and exceeds 60% when you include CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program) and Healthcare Exchange subsidies. Defense spending accounts for 31% of the federal budget. Chart: https://www.kff.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/8953-02-figure-9.png Source: https://www.kff.org/medicaid…

Others complained to me porn made their BFs get ED. I used to believe this entirely, but I think there's an unhealthy mix of cope in this argument from women. If you're a sufficiently attractive and enthusiastic chick, you'll keep a guy hard. My SSRIs weren't even a problem when there was strong arousal over her. Both sexes have soft spots in their egos. For women, it's particularly distressing to think they're contributing to not keeping their partner hard. Introspection isn't even necessary wi…

True but 30 turning 31 this month so I'm not exactly 35+ right now lol. I would like to think that I would date someone my own age range There's nothing wrong with that, if you're happy with a disproportionate skew of dates feeling like hostile job interviews.

Its only usefulness for men (today) is simply for the raising of children. If you're childless, there's minimal benefit. Men should play the hypergamy card in their own lives when it comes to marriage. My criteria are that she has a good personality, earns a six-figure income, is moderately attractive, childless and no older than 32. I think that filters out a fair chunk of low-value women.

They're not out there living interesting lives and talking to women Speaking for myself, men who are "economically attractive" enough often work a lot and don't have tons of spare time for both "interesting" hobbies and "talking to women" (dates, hanging out, listening to their gossip). Swiping on Tinder is still economical, even if it's generally a crapshoot. For non-Chads, the IRL opportunity cost of being her time hoe or dancing monkey just isn't worth it. Working on your career, having hobbi…

20s were borderline the worst...primarily because after college, working 60hr weeks, broke as shit most of the time, not part of the college social scene so little time to scrounge of women, moved a bunch for career...too broke\young for older women, not part of the college scene so a little out that market, still had attention but too busy to focus on just banging girls or even relationships. Started to change once the consulting took off..career settled down, got the condo in a prime location …

As far as I see the vast majority of single mothers had a child during a committed relationship Sexual relationship != committed relationship that then fell apart for a variety of reasons Namely the fact that "commitment" means nothing without social norms to enforce them (the legally-binding institution of marriage is one example), which society ejected in the 1960s.

> Men will only invest in what they care about. Screening for men who are not generous early on prevents you from locking yourself down with a low effort individual who will likely cost you down the line Given the dearth of debt-free virgins without tattoos, what makes these women think they deserve 1950s-style courtship without consequent obligations on their end?

women want to be with a guy who appreciates her and pedestalizes her Any man who does this has sown his own destruction. There are almost literally no women today by the age of 21 who are debt-free virgins without tattoos, and therefore they're not worth any more than equal treatment to start.

> "BEARING MEN CHILDREN" You're not bearing anyone anything. If you have a child, it's because you wanted to have a child Some women literally think taking a load is some heroic accomplishment and a favor. What a time to be alive. :)

Women are tired of spending time and afford to look pretty and feminine and also do all house work. This shit always amazes me, why are women such bums? Your routine to paint yourself a new face and conceal flaws is self-imposed and only takes as much time as you dictate. If housecleaning is such an issue, there are Merry Maid services who can perform those duties weekly for pay, much like UMCs do with landscaping services. Is laundry that difficult? What am I missing that women do around the ho…

On the otherhand, Women fuck us by taking up our time, taking our effort, getting us to buy them food and objects, and overall eating up our attention. Or as Patrice O'Neal called it, being her "time hoe." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9QOQNcpuiA

350 is nothing compared to the expense of a family. A man should date someone he thinks is worth that much. The point is to make it hard make it expensive. More likely a man will set up a woman who constantly splits the bill and has sex early on as a plate. Do FDSers think it's still 1965? I certainly don't see a woman who splits (some) dates and waits a reasonable amount of time for sex as a plate. That seems prudent and like a solid foundation for a lifetime partnership, if you're aiming for m…

Nature's constraints on women's fertility is something I empathize with. I cannot imagine how difficult my life would be if I had the looming thought of finite fertility on top of trying to build a career and climb the corporate ladder. As a man, I don't need to take dating as "seriously" as a woman does in her late-20s and early-30s. They need to filter for parental material, maintain good appearance, on top of the stress of work, school, etc. This shouldn't be confused with sympathy, though. I…

Agree with this post, well said. > If someone is using me for food, she gets that once, I'm not going to get put out by the price of dinner, but its only once. This is now a hard rule that I abide by, and only after a coffee date. It's one thing if there's reciprocation, like she's made dinner or agreed to cook together or something similar, but outside of Mormon communities, you're a fool if you're on multiple dinner dates and haven't closed on escalating. I've never expected sex from a dinner …
