I’m dealing with this issue as well and I think all you can do is not be intentionally misleading. I’m not gonna talk about meeting her parents or saying I love her unless I mean it, etc. Beyond that, it’s up to the other person to navigate their desires and expectations.

I was skeptical but I tried it and this is actually a cool little exercise. Well done.

Could someone explain WHY assumptions/cold reads are better? Because it’s not obvious to me.

If you are being respectful and she is willing, nothing wrong with it at all.

I agree that "progressives" are also playing into the casual sex is bad thing. But in doing so they are, whether they are realize it or not, playing into conservative ideas.

I get it, dating sucks. But I'm average at best and I've had casual sex (with women who weren't hideous, if that's gonna be your follow-up).

The hating on casual sex is part of a wider trend back toward conservative sexual morality that I think is unfortunate. Of course, people can have bad experiences with casual sex, and they can be doing it for the wrong reasons, without the required ability to set boundaries, be self aware, self protective, and so on. But that doesn't mean the very concept of casual sex itself is inherently bad.

One certainly shouldn’t simp, but the definition of what a simp is has become very muddled. It means to treat yourself as lesser than, to debase yourself for someone who doesn’t respect you just for the chance that they might throw you a morsel of attention. Loving, caring for, and respecting women isn’t simping. Neither is basic politeness. Is Will Smith a simp? We don’t have enough information to know. How could we? Maybe his wife is a dedicated and loving partner to him. Maybe despite whateve…

You did the right thing. You have the right to bodily autonomy, as everyone does. It’s a turn on when a hot girl talks like that ofc but props for not giving in to the heat of the moment.

I do A LOT better in real life than in OLD, so if what OP is saying is true, that would suggest that something about me other than my looks is giving me a major boost. I actually wish I knew what exactly that something is so I could figure out how to somewhat replicate it online, for times like the pandemic when I have to rely on OLD.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
