A few eating habits for you young men who are starting on and still beginning the changeI'm not saying or recommending that you stay very lean while bulking or to bulk slowly, just that there's a limit on muscle gain, and that eating more won't increase that limit. If you look at two natural lifters with hypothetically identical physiological compositions, with ideal training programs and ideal diets, the only difference being calorie consumption, with one gaining 10lbs a month and the other gaining 15lbs a month, the one gaining 15lbs a month isn't gaining more muscle than the one… | /r/TheRedPill | 17/09/15 07:34 PM
A few eating habits for you young men who are starting on and still beginning the changeWhen it comes to anything not clearly natural, substance-wise, I'm not knowledgeable on it. I would imagine my statements still stand. If you're gaining fat, you're gaining muscle. More fat gain doesn't mean more muscle gain. You're not going to turn in a fat pig overnight, so just note fat growth as you move along and decide what you want to do if you don't like your results. Also people differ greatly, maybe you won't gain any fat at 6000 calories even without prohormones. | /r/TheRedPill | 17/09/15 06:52 PM
A few eating habits for you young men who are starting on and still beginning the changeEven if for some reason you stop lifting, training or improving your body, by keeping up with these habits will help you keep your form. Remember: your diet has a huge impact on your looks. This is ludicrous. You can maintain some semblance of your former glory for a limited time if you stop training, but if your body is doing jack shit, you're going to look like shit. On top of that, this post has nothing on protein and calorie requirements, or even any information or reasonable explantions on … | /r/TheRedPill | 17/09/15 06:24 PM
A few eating habits for you young men who are starting on and still beginning the changeAfter you get enough protein for maximum muscle synthesis and enough carbs to top off glycogen stores, it doesn't matter where the rest of the calories come from. But fuck, 6000 calories? Rippetoe goes overboard because he's all about maximum strength gain as fast as possible with a complete disregard for body composition. Consider that fact that strength and muscle gains are limited and that fat gains are unlimited. If you ever start gaining excessive amounts of fat, be aware that gaining more … | /r/TheRedPill | 17/09/15 06:18 PM
LIFT? Hmmm, no, you are not allowed anymore. There are a few pretty yolked guys at my Planet Fitness. A lot of people grunt and lunk it up, but no one does anything. The lunk alarm goes off sometimes, but it's seemingly random. The no Olympic barbell thing sucks, but no one cares really cares about anyone hitting something else hard. | /r/TheRedPill | 15/09/15 06:44 PM
A beginner's guide for losing weight and body fatNo worries man. Hope the the instruction goes well. | /r/TheRedPill | 09/09/15 08:47 PM
A beginner's guide for losing weight and body fatI don't dead lift either, and I've lowered the weight on the machine as well. I'm not sure what you mean by this. Dead lifting is picking up weight from the floor. I get a fairly constant slight ache in my knees all the time which I got from squatting with poor form a couple of weeks ago. They click also. How exactly did you squat with poor form? And when do your knees click? As for ab recommendations, they're like any other muscle. Increasing intensity is a good idea to induce muscle growth. So… | /r/TheRedPill | 07/09/15 04:15 AM
A beginner's guide for losing weight and body fatDo you have any knees issues dead lifting? And what sort of knees trouble do you have specifically? Clicking? Pain before, during, or after squats? | /r/TheRedPill | 06/09/15 11:19 PM
A beginner's guide for losing weight and body fatIt's a question of how to raise your SMV as fast as possible. Man, I need to keep this context in mind when getting into exercise and nutrition stuff around here. | /r/TheRedPill | 06/09/15 10:26 PM
A beginner's guide for losing weight and body fatA good beginner's guide to anything should have a good summary, so I'll respond to that. Reduce carbs and start eating more healthy fats. This isn't a catch at all recommendation for fat loss. This is generally a good recommendation sense people are pretty weak when it comes to eating a lot, so reducing carbs and eating quality fats will probably make most eat less, but it's not the less carbs and more fat that's doing the trick. Take for example someone who's TDEE is 2000 calories. A 1600 calor… | /r/TheRedPill | 06/09/15 10:14 PM
A beginner's guide for losing weight and body fatI was eating most of my calories as protein, which probably helped protect my muscle mass, but I was horribly skiny fat to start with, (I couldn't do 2 press ups). I don't mean to be disparaging, but you didn't have much muscle mass to begin with if you couldn't do 2 push ups. On top of that, unless your muscle mass was sufficiently low, you definitely lost some muscle mass on such a diet. Someone who has a power lifting total north of 1000+lbs and/or is over 200lbs and under 25% body fat is goi… | /r/TheRedPill | 06/09/15 08:53 PM
Start lifting and just observe the world around youI experimented with a diet that was peanuts and whey shakes some time ago, and that was for under 3000 calories. It was a little tough to power through. I can't imagine 4000 calories in cashews and avocados being a lot more palatable. I guess your miles may very. There's still no argument for why nothing but cashews and avocados would be better than a menu of beef, chicken, vegetables, bread, and multiples other choices. | /r/TheRedPill | 06/09/15 02:51 AM
Start lifting and just observe the world around youI have reservations about believing that a lifter who never runs or does any specific cardiovascular training being able to "easily" run a mile or two. | /r/TheRedPill | 06/09/15 12:03 AM
Start lifting and just observe the world around youA "moderate distance" is relative. Note that I didn't say strength training does nothing for the cardiovascular system. | /r/TheRedPill | 05/09/15 10:41 PM
Start lifting and just observe the world around youLet's see that study redone with individuals who lift five times a week. | /r/TheRedPill | 05/09/15 07:50 PM
Start lifting and just observe the world around youBut not as effectively as actual cardiovascular training. Anaerobic and aerobic systems are pretty different. | /r/TheRedPill | 05/09/15 07:36 PM
Start lifting and just observe the world around youWith absolutely no nutrition knowledge maybe. Macros can be adjusted on McDonalds, protein would be higher, and you wouldn't have to have 4000 calories in nothing but avocados and nuts. | /r/TheRedPill | 05/09/15 07:33 PM

The Red Pill Guide to Advanced (Natty) FitnessWhat damages the metabolism? Foods that spike insulin. As per your explanation of the chronic response of eating sugary foods, it's not foods that spike insulin that damage metabolism, but the specifically defined chronic over-consumption of such foods. The statement quoted is similar to the statement: "What causes spinal disc herniations? Exercises that load the spine." There's a lot of talk about getting fatter because of eating more due to hunger, but what if you ignore hunger and stick to a … | /r/TheRedPill | 30/08/15 06:06 AM
The Red Pill Guide to Advanced (Natty) FitnessSo if you feel "very tired"... you're very tired. Just to clarify, there's a clinical definition for over training. It's not just a catch all term for above average fatigue. | /r/TheRedPill | 27/08/15 09:57 PM
The Red Pill Guide to Advanced (Natty) FitnessOvertraining training isn't just being tired. When you're riddled with constant aches, multiple injuries, and an abnormal hormone profile, you can start thinking about being overtrained. | /r/TheRedPill | 27/08/15 08:57 PM

I'm a 16 year old swallowing the pill, and I have to say...SL would definitely have an effect on growth. And what exactly are you referring to when you mention lifting passed your body weight? On lifts that load the spine, or with anything? Your use of extreme is still nonsensical to me. | /r/TheRedPill | 22/08/15 11:51 PM

I'm a 16 year old swallowing the pill, and I have to say...It's not just your personal theory. Muscle size is related to myofibril amount in your muscle. After building myofibrils, they generally stick around for along time unless you're bed ridden, so even if muscle size goes down, your myofibrils are still there to kick start muscle gain. Later on. I believe this is also a factor in getting back strength gains quickly after a training lay off. edit* A reference for this information. I believe my use of "myofibril" is interchangeable with Nuckol's use … | /r/TheRedPill | 22/08/15 10:07 PM
Think I stood my ground but still feel bummed out.I was under the impression that an abundance mentality has no relation with actual abundance. You could have an endless harem of 10s and still be a whiny bitch around them. An abundance mentality is knowing that any interaction with one woman means nothing since there are more out there, thus frame is bolstered down. This generally results in spending time with quality women since, with this mentality, there is no logical reason to spend time with women that you wouldn't consider to be high qual… | /r/TheRedPill | 01/08/15 07:00 AM

Blood Sacrifice for the Iron GodsThat post doesn't counter my point. Many people lack quality squatting mobility and proper squatting form knowledge, but these things can be remedied. Though I admit it is possible to have physical ailments that can completely remove the ability to squat safely, and this has nothing to do with competence, but that's true for any exercise. I also admit my response may be off point, since squatting may not be vital to someone solely interested in looking good. You're not gonna look very good if yo… | /r/TheRedPill | 07/05/15 11:37 PM

First time benching 225Just wanna chime in to be another voice that wants newbies to know that squats and dead lifts can absolutely be safe. Don't force heavy reps and be conservative with strength gain if you don't want to get hurt. | /r/TheRedPill | 29/04/15 07:18 AM
| 5 | Little help for GymCan you save money? If you're on a budget and want to start strength training, you can get pretty far on $10 a month. You can start off with simple body weight exercises and move on to more advanced movements. You can also buy dumbbells to slowly add weight to pull ups and dips (which can likely be done at your local park). Save up money and incrementally add to your dumbbell collection. | 2 | Ralph Waldo Emerson on TRPThis isn't the gender dynamics subreddit.
