It's no coincidence that all the happily ever after stories end just when a woman gets married. They end right there because that's the best it will ever be, the highlight of the relationship and it's all downhill from there (because she's married a guy who has terrible qualities for a long term relationship but is able to act for long enough). Then there's a whole narrative drop until you get to the next phase of Hollywood storytelling where is 8-10 years later the teenage kids are ungrateful, …

The difference is that when women get these diseases it's not normally because they DGAF. Instead it's highly likely some scrote boyfriend brought it home because he's cheating and he's against wearing condoms. The average man with AIDS etc is someone who has been playing Russian roulette with their health while the average woman is not than likely someone who has been lied to. So I don't think women who listen to the episode should be thinking that it applies to them - it applies to the attitud…

Exactly. He could think through all the silver jewelry she has and work out what she doesn't have or he could just be lazy and give her something she definitely doesn't have (and likely doesn't want). It would be a bit like getting him a Harley add-on for his bike when he owns a Ducati then when it's unusable shrugging and saying it's the thought that counts 🤷. I've never heard of a woman making the latter mistake (especially women who buy tools for their husband - it's always the right brand, s…

I don't count. There's experiences to remember and some you'd rather never remember. Trying to work out what to think about and what to count does my head in. It's the past and nobody else's business. I don't want to spend a second on past guys out exes who don't deserve even a millisecond of thought. Counting how many and being active about "raising your count" is like mcdonalds sex - quality doesn't matter just the sheer number. And that says enough about never ever wanting to have sex with th…

Imagine being a grown adult and fighting your own children for food. Even back in the 1950s in my family (most families?) if you acted this way you would die of shame. Not only are you taking from your children you're literally implying you're too poor to afford adequate food and that you failed as a breadwinner. So this is some 1800s the man is working and we have no other money so he eats first shit.

I think a big part of them looking the same is part of their behaviour. The whole weird creepy facial expression comes from their inability to socialise. Same deal with the bad photos etc they don't or can't put themselves in other's shoes so they don't care about wearing clean ironed clothes, stains, or being socially presentable. It's great in a way because you only have to see what photo they use to know to avoid them.

Fine print: includes a lifetime of trauma that you will spend 10x the amount trying to escape. Also reinforces bad financial habits by putting you in a boom bust relationship to money. Said relationship to money encourages you to break your boundaries leading to more trauma. Also included is the ability for any dusty ass scrote to dox you in the future and get you fired/harassed when you finally manage to crawl out of that cesspit and deal with your trauma.

He's the ultimate pickme project. They believe that deep down he's a nice person that has been messed up by his lifestyle and that somehow they'll save him. The worse the problem (while still being able to believe he is a good person) the more attracted they are.

I want the ten minutes I spent scrolling through that back lol. At first I was like wtf are these women doing??? Like no man of worth all that shitty heartache and why???? The casual models or whatever is sort of understandable given they'd think that it would boost their career etc but the women with established careers like Selena noooooo don't do that. But then it finally clicked that the problem is that they're up to the gills in that whole "one true love" and "love will save him" bullshit. …

Charity doesn't have to come from a place of kindness. A lot of wealthy people use charity as a form of reputational rehabilitation. It gives them status and wealthy men often like to get into a dick measuring competition regarding how much they do or give to charity. For these men it's just another way to stroke their ego. It's the same old "but he didn't seem like a bad person" thing. He's nice to "the people that matter" but is horrible or abusive in private. I wouldn't be surprised if this i…

Irony is that the dog finally made her see just how bad he was. As for people taking issue with how she dislikes the dog - she's allergic, she never wanted it and her boyfriend doesn't sound like he has any boundaries when it comes to the dog. If you're allergic, everything is covered in dog fur and drool, dog is jumping on the bed the couch etc and you feel like you're slowly going insane because "how could you hate this little cute puppy with its widdle eyes" you're not exactly going to be dip…

100%. If a guy is texting or typing to me and can't be bothered then this just comes across as lazy and aimless? They're always the kind of guys who expect you to carry the conversation or to somehow entertain them. Also often it's because they're sending out a barrage of messages and it's not because they want to have a thoughtful conversation with you. For me it's up there with shirtless profile pictures on OLD it's just eww. That said I'm not overly fussed if people skip using periods when te…

Contacting you out of the blue at odd hours. For the younger crowd: If you have a disagreement he leaves and that night hangs out with his friends in a pub/club. Accuses you of cheating and is very sensitive to any other man being around you/paying attention to you. Goes uncontactable without good reason. Changes in habits + appearance without any lead up as an orange flag. E.g used to get a take away coffee after going to his hobby but now stays at the cafe despite saying that he hates cafes. S…

The upside is you're able to weed these guys out much faster. Sure they will pretend to be nice to get sex but they will put in very little effort and soon retreat if you have boundaries and stick to the FDS strategies. It's very hard for these kind of men to hide their disgust/disdain.

They hate women who act that way but it won't stop them from trying to fuck her. Or at least seeing how far they can get before it's too much effort for them. That's why letting men make the first move and show that they're invested in a relationship with you as a person is so important. It's too much work for the guys that are bottom of the barrel.

"True love" is such a horrible scam for women. Teaches young women to ignore their boundaries and how they think they should be treated and encourages them to beg for scraps because "they're in love". Love doesn't exist in a vacuum.

What I didn't get until the last decade or so was just how much they're all about power, control, and dominance.> Me too. It's relatively hidden when everything is stable but when things change in the hierarchy its like watching a circus. I always thought that I was really lucky in my family to have people who weren't like that. Then my dad died and instantly the men around me changed. I legit had a moment where I could hear an anthropologist doing voice overs in my head. Little behaviour change…

"Love" has got to be the biggest socially acceptable scam to get women to drop their standards. I'm not saying that mutual affection etc is itself bad but the centuries of mythology that have been developed around it are so damaging for women. It's how you get women who have everything going for them ending up with men who offer nothing or are even a drain on her resources. Best care lottery scenario is that he actually feels that way and works on himself to become a better person. Most often th…

It signals an unhealthy attitude towards relationships. Also low self esteem. It shows that they will have a relationship with whoever is around because they rely on someone outside themselves to affirm their value. It's also a manipulation tactic - they'll build you up really high on that pedestal and wait for the female socialisation to kick in where you'll go "we'll I'm not really that good at XYZ" or "here's all the last trauma I've had to deal with around relationships". It's not something …

It sounds like she's projecting how she feels onto you given your description of her. She puts men as her highest priority so for her a dog or cat would just be a stand-in for a man. People who have other priorities look at women with animals as if they have them as some kind of coping strategy. I saw a post around a month back where some armchair evo psych dude proclaimed that it was some maladaptive coping strategy for not having kids. That animals can be companions, interesting to be with and…

Going off the photo I don't think it's necessarily targeted towards men. You don't sell women on dating sites by showing them men because the qualities women look for are ones that show up over time. Instead you use an ancient hunting technique - set up decoy prey and watch the rest stumble in thinking it's safe because they can see that one of them is safe and well and then you close the trap. With dating sites they show attractive and successful women doing stunts like this. Other women subcon…

Excellent post. One thing it brought to mind is - what if the lack of rough play (not harming other people but wrestling etc) is part of what holds young women back in terms of self defence. They don't get as much experience as young boys in getting out of an older or bigger child's chokehold etc. Anecdotally one thing I learnt as a child when playing with my 10 year older is to use tools to your advantage. Yes he was physically stronger than me, taller, bigger etc but that doesn't mean shit if …

I think you hit the nail on the head here. While I respect the guest's experience with children in early childhood, I felt like the questions went beyond to what she could speak to with experience as an expert. So she prevented the boys from rough housing with the girls, and redirected the physical energy of one boy to another bully (is that um ethical?) There was lots of interesting information about good parenting techniques (redirecting physical energy, presenting options instead of cutting t…

I found the discussion on gender roles being innate to be misinformed. I would direct anyone who picks up these various studies that haven't been replicated or that make huge leaps of inference to read Cordelia Fine's work. Her first book Delusions of Gender is essentially a metastudy of all the research around gender roles being "innate". She's a professor and did her PhD in Psychology and is well respected in the field. She found that despite being a popular topic, most of the studies were fla…

I was a bit shocked too. Like FDS is about the bare facts whether you like them or not. People aren't going to blow smoke up your ass and say it's all alright. In that vein I can't help but feel that there's a subsection of commenters here who are not interested in leveling up or changing any of what they do, but enjoy calling out shitty guys (which is fine, but I'm under the impression FDS is about leveling up and calling out shitty guys for bad behaviour).

University professors can come in the self aware type that know the limits of what they have studied and are aware that they're not experts in other fields/at least engage with people in this other fields to see if they're on the right track. Then you have your Jordan Peterson's who think because they know a lot about very little that they can be an expert in everything.

You weren't the only one who saw that. I was around on GC too although maybe not at the same time. There have been multiple studies linking obesity and trauma. What the fuck. That's psychopathic. I mean it's already crazy that it's so normalised that women can shorten the strings because sometimes the guy doesn't like the way it's feels. So a woman goes through all these side effects so that she can have sex and some dick is like waaaah I can feel something different. Meanwhile men are like "I can't feel anything through a condom". It just shows whoever is making the claim knows nothing about FDS. Apparently paying attention to red flags, having solid boundaries, not having sex before at least 3 months, and letting a man prove he's interested by paying for the first date is as heinous as men who coerce women into sex (aka rape them), who also gaslight, humiliate, and abuse women to get what they want. Men hate anything that makes them look bad. Most cats have a higher level of emotional intelligence than most scrotes. A cat will actually purr and cuddle you if you're sick, scrotes can even stop bothering their girlfriends for sex when they're sick. Like they can't even locate the glans of the clitoris let alone working out the rest of it. In terms of women doing it themselves, depending on your cervix it could be pretty deep inside in which case you need a specialised tool (ahem). Not to mention the angle, the pressure etc has to be just right and women don't tend to spend hours masyurbating/exploring that kind of thing when the…

So many older women refuse to deal with men's shit. They've been there done that, now they want to do the things they want to do without having to be a caretaker for some dude who can't take care of himself or never took care of himself in the first place and as a result has poor health. Just on my little street there are two women in their 70s, one doing her PhD, living in her own home, volunteering in the community, and the other owns several properties + businesses and is always out walking, …

Block and delete these men. Don't feel any need to apologise or explain. A reasonable person would assume you have a life and got busy. These scrotes know that but they want to make you anxious about missing out on their text/call and get you into be a dynamic where they completely control your time even when they're not with you (force you to keep thinking about them by having the phone around, and being worried about missing and text/call).

When your own brother would pay for your girlfriend's vacation to see your family, that's like, if you don't know you're a scrote and feel a sense of shame then you never will. He's treating her like paying for her to come would make her a gold digger meanwhile he first mooched off his parents and now he's mooching off her. The only gold digger is him and I hope she ditches him and gets to enjoy her lovely new condo without this parasite.

I'm not actually sure on that one as an official thing. I don't believe so, is hard because a lot of this is more etiquette than hard and fast rules. It's always changing really quickly too because in comparison to other countries is only recently that families have started to have a lot more money. Definitely if a guy didn't take care of his in-laws he wouldn't be seen as a decent person and he would suffer at work/be shamed for that. So if the bride's parents were struggling then the husband w…

Dick shape is a big deal (pun intended). I have a low cervix so I'm not looking for a man who is longer than 6 inches or much shorter than that. However his penis should have some girth (no pencil dicks!) Also if it gently curves upwards - perfect. I was with a guy who had the perfect penis for me, he could just do his thing and because of the shape I would orgasm every time. So if a guy wants to be lazy then at least he should be the right shape. I find most scrotes tend to fit into one of two …

Not to mention it was for TWO WEEKS (later 5). They did for two weeks what a woman does for 18 years and they were like nah let's not have kids.

Same deal in South Korea, you're expected (as a couple) to pay an allowance as gratitude for them raising him. Like there not going to expect to move in when they get too old to live independently 🙄.

Jokes on them, Christmas cakes are even better after Christmas. Not to mention if they mean a traditional Christmas cake - they last forever without going dry or stale. Just another example of men outing that they don't bake.

In a country where men can't get wives too 🙄. Or complain that women only marry men who have basic shit together.

It probably involves telling the other partner about their intention to divorce. Giving husbands a month to "persuade" their wives not to divorce, and given the amount of domestic violence... It's sick.

Especially if you block them, don't know who they are, and when they tell you their name you say "oh you're the doctor right?" Or whatever profession that they're not in. They literally howl with rage when you forget who they were (and expect you to remember going on a boring unremarkable date with them 5 years ago).

This. They get so offended that overweight and obese women even exist. Their tiny minds just explode trying to work it out. Like they think if a woman is not attractive to them then she just shouldn't be there. It's really disturbing. Oftentimes it's the guys who themselves struggle with weight issues who are the worst.

Standards are infectious. If you start holding men to even the bare minimum and your friends see your confidence, they will start holding the men in their lives to account even if they start small. If there's two of you (the first follower is the most important in a movement) then your circle of friends will level up in that regard because there's no way they're going to see you guys succeeding and think "Nah I'll just keep my NVM rat nest man".

A FDS app would be heavenly. Even like having a FDS group in my city where we could talk and meet others who are leveling up (and also keep each other accountable in not allowing any scrote behaviour from men). But given how controversial our views are outside the community having FDS meet ups is not possible at the moment. That's not going to stop me from daydreaming though.

If there's something about him that is turning you off and its only the fourth date its just not worth it. Someone can tick all the boxes and still not be right for you, that's why we date in the first place. This guy while he sounds like he ticks a lot fo boxes for you, there's something about him that's just not right for you. Listen to your feelings.

Such NVM behaviour - and to grab her arm too! I think the drink with the meal is an old timey etiquette thing? I seem to remember when I was growing up that my mum would be really frustrated if they brought a meal without a drink. She doesn't really do it anymore (not that a lot of places will bring your meal first). But I do remember it being a thing.

It just goes to show how brainwashed society is. Like dick ain't that good, yet pickmes will bend over backwards for it. If you even begin to voice statistics about domestic violence and how the majority of relationships pan out then you're labeled bitter. Uh, if you're going to label me then logical would be a good place to start. I really don't understand the "I'm the exception" mentality.

I feel like there's a huge market for an app/website that matches people with friends who have similar values or hobbies. Make it as user firnedly as a dating site and boom. I think there's bumble BFF but at least where I am it doesn't seem to have caught on?

I'm so glad this is a rule now. I mean that's the thought process behind it? At best it's oh look someone else is repeating what is said here, FDS is become more mainstream. But at worst it's a "see men are saying it too" which is just falling into the trap of seeking male validation. I really hope that just been the best case scenario in the past. Now no more hepeating (also my phone tried to autocorrect that to hepestering 🤭).

They always go with the "women are faking it" and "they just want attention" angle when they hear about how women attempt it more. Not once have they actually tried thinking about it and gone hmm how many women have access to firearms? Or hmm maybe women who are socialised to avoid creating problems for others aren't going to jump in front of a train or kill themselves in a way that is going to leave a big mess behind for others to clean up/trauma for others. It really says something about how m…

It's not work and these two links explain why: http://logosjournal.com/2014/watson and https://nordicmodelnow.org/2020/03/12/prostitution-is-not-a-job-and-never-will-be-heres-why/ Slavery is not considered work - even though it involves a lot of labour. Same applies here.

And they call us gold diggers - imagine if every time they wanted something they had to do something for us? Thing is that women have some semblance of regard for fellow human beings and generally don't see other people, men or women as objects to use.

They'll protect... their property. They'll provide... not out of the goodness of their hearts but because it used to be an ego competition. Some still do for this reason which is why vetting carefully is so necessary because they might seem ok on the surface, but the reality is that it's all about them and their ego.

I'd really love to see a focus on hearing from women and not so much from men. Men are everywhere they don't need more of a platform. I'm sure there a certain men who get more exposure on certain things like Bancroft, but surely there's got to be a woman out there who can provide the same advice and insight who we can uplift?

This! Counter the whole "but it's empowering" crap with women who actually have power and don't put up with bad behaviour. It would be really nice to have examples of women who have traits to look up to (and if they're not fully FDS then obviously point those bits out). Ideally though they'd match up completely. To add, maybe a podcast on strong women through history who took no crap from men? Especially powerful women who got divorced or otherwise got rid of their LVM/NVM and leveled up.

Her work is fantastic and very much needed. I've been to a talk by Gail Dines and she definitely has queen energy. When one of the few men in the room spoke up and asked what he could do she was fierce and said "Stop using porn". So she would be a very good fit not just because of her work.
