I traced the issue back to a lack of self-esteem. I thought I needed to "prove" something. That's the thing, you never do. Don't ever dare think you do. It was just a matter of starting to enjoy life outside of having to chase for a woman's attention. I actually started to have fun.

Took me a while to develop that cartilage. I was such a softy. I'd fall for a girl, and just blatantly throw money at her. Buy her shit, feed her, you name it. Then one day she'd "dump" me (we would not even be 'dating') and I'd be pathetically emo for weeks; complain about women and throw fits. Now, I do none of the above. Just don't. Can't bother.

Just say hi. Either send her a PM on OkC or text/call her. Bloody ask her out. If she's on a dating site she's looking to go out. So what are you waiting for? Trust me, I'm from the Internet.

Maybe he needed someone to tell him that. The world just keeps throwing standards at you of what your life should be, you start to forget it's all about what you want, not what the universe wants from you.

I hear ya. And agree with your point of view. If said ex had been sleeping around with one if not several other partners, then it might be wise not to approach. Whatever the situation, honesty is always the best policy. Sorry 'bout the jolt by the way

What if I'm the ex? I mean, I'm not. Not this one. What I want to say is that I'm heading back to the city where my ex lives and I want to ask her out to ask for a second chance. We basically broke up because I had to leave / was uncertain where I was going to be living for the rest of my existence, so since I'm moving back, I thought that we could give it another shot. ....Wat do?

Word on the streets says that attractive women are talked to less because men chicken out because they're intimidated. Consider this while you approach. Confidence is key.

In practice, I try to look like I "belong" wherever I am, as if I have been there before and am familiar with this kind of situation. I keep reminding myself that my story is probably way different than that of most people I will meet, and I shouldn't be intimidated by whatever cool stuff others might be up to, but proud of what I have achieved. When in doubt, I try to treat everyone like I've already hung out with them quite a lot. This is what I can come up with at this time. It's almost 4AM w…

Also, in order to apply said points, BE CONFIDENT :) Confidence is easy to notice and highly attractive for both genders. Edit: fixed smiley
