I hate to say it but these beliefs have been held by certain men for decades. The internet helped the shit hit the fan, though.

Yeah he wasn't operating under the label of redpill, because he was like this before redpill existed. But it's basically the same shit.

Ideas/beliefs like: You can and should trick/manipulate women into what you want. Everyone is out to get you and manipulate everyone else so you need to do it to them before they do. Constant power games and ego trips. Flaunt your money, posessions, and physical power. Don't get me started. Traditional families with tradwives is the way to go. But also how dare she not work and not give you money... Constant sexualizing of women and girls. Pedophilia. Voting republican. Racism and homophobia.

I was raised by someone with beliefs very similar to redpill and it was incredibly damaging. Very traumatic.

Think about it. Do the opinions of random idiots on the street speak for all men?
/r/ExRedPill27/05/26 09:04 PM

For the record, it also depends on what you're looking for. Do you just want to have a good time with someone? A short term or not serious thing? Anyone with basic social skills can do that. If you want something more serious, more long term, a future with someone soon, that's something that you need to get your crap together for. Both you and the other person will have to show you are capable and serious about it.

Those street interviews are often scripted and/or they pay people to be there who have concerning views.

Girls? Or women? At 20, they are women. Not girls. Is it women who are putting this pressure on you? Or is it random internet people? Or is it society in general? What socioeconomic group are you in, and what is the socioeconomic group of the person you're listening to? This is all relevant. You're going to find yourself under pressure from all sorts of directions as you get older. You have to discern for yourself what information is useful and constructive vs what is unhelpful judgement. Some p…

Nobody yet has mentioned how it depends on age. If you're an 18 year old, no one expects you to have your entire life figured out. But you can date and have fun anyway. 25ish? You don't have to have your life completely together but you should be on your way to doing so. 30? 40? Older? Yeah you should have your act together by then.

Getting rid of social media (or at least starting over with new accounts and completely different content) and meeting as many people as you can irl will make a huge difference. Try this for an extended period of time (months at least) and see how it goes.

Most people your age are very focused on looks because they are immature and don't have the life experience to understand that there's more to dating than looks. Of course 16 year old girls want a handsome guy... it's called being young and dumb. They don't even know themselves yet. Don't let this bullshit define you forever. Seriously, what gave you such terrible self esteem? Because you're going to have to stay away from whatever is doing that to you and heal from it.
/r/ExRedPill24/01/26 04:10 PM
2

Bro you're only 16. Everyone your age thinks their life is over already. Most teens are self conscious of their looks in some way or another. But you live and grow anyway. Few people take dating seriously until they are in their 20s, because it's an age range with a huge amount of growth and change. And few people have the attention spans to focus on someone for more than a few weeks or months anyway. You're going to meet so many new people in the coming years. You can't expect to have loads of …

/r/ExRedPill26/11/25 04:40 PM

Maybe ditch the redpill and go for a creative writing degree. That sounds like a more productive life goal for you, because it's clear you have a lot to say.
/r/ExRedPill26/11/25 04:05 PM

I disagree. I've seen too many people be miserable because they try to fit themselves into whatever box society dictates for them.

If you don't like it, the last thing you should do is try to adhere harder to those norms. It's destructive. It sounds like you know this. Doubling down is not the answer.
/r/ExRedPill26/11/25 03:34 PM

Of course there are gendered norms and expectations. But you don't have to follow them and build your self esteem around it.. Nor do you have to write an essay about it.

When I was in my teens/early 20s, I didn't care who else was a virgin or not. If anything, dating someone who had a lot of experience would probably have been too intimidating. My first boyfriend after high school also had very little experience and I'm glad. We learned a lot together.
/r/ExRedPill24/11/25 06:33 PM

Good lord why are you dating this guy???
/r/ExRedPill07/11/25 08:14 PM

What helps is taking your time. Don't rush into things with people. People who are fake nice on the outside and have shitty intentions typically can't hold it together for too long. The other part is to have some standards and self-esteem. People who don't have any of that will typically stick around shitty people for too long. Learn that it's better to be single than to be putting up with someone's bullshit.

If you're this lazy on dating apps, you'll be just as lazy when it comes to real life dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/25 03:08 AM

If you're this lazy on a simple dating app, it's safe to assume you will be equally lazy when it comes to dating someone in real life. Disagree with this all you want. It doesn't matter. This is how it appears to others.

I always read bios when I used online dating. If a guy didn't have any bio, it was instantly not a match.

I had a friend once and she was tall. Like 6'0 ish. (Her whole family was tall, I think her dad was like 6'5".) It was mostly shorter dudes who were interested in her and that's who she dated.
/r/ExRedPill25/02/25 04:05 AM

From what I've seen, they mostly ignore gay men and lesbian women. It's like they don't fit into their worldview at all.
/r/ExRedPill22/02/25 12:06 AM

For what it's worth: I'm a 5'2" woman. My height is very common for women. I think the average USA height for women is 5'4". Even if most women want a guy taller than them... the fact is that for a large number of women, most men are taller than us by default. It's not like we're all 5'10" vixens who insist on 6'4" guys.

I was raised by someone who had redpill-ish ideas. It was very damaging. It had nothing to do with online coaches, grifters, or influencers. If the results of an ideology are shit, then it's shit. It's not that complicated.
/r/ExRedPill07/02/25 02:03 PM

Yeah if you're looking for a specific type of person, you will have to get more into detail about that. If not on this subreddit, then at least do more exploring on your own.
/r/ExRedPill22/01/25 11:46 PM
3

You should still provide more details. My initial thought after reading your post: the sexual revolution was like 50-60ish years ago. And there's a number of studies floating around right now that say Gen Z is having less sex and socializes less compared to previous generations. I see no evidence that non promiscuous people are less common these days. It might be more difficult to find them, since the internet is flooded with very sexual people and trolls, but it doesn't mean they are all gone. …

Why do you give a shit what bullies say? Tell them to fuck off, block them, and move on with your life. These bullies you ran into don't speak for those of us on this subreddit. We know these bullies suck. You know these bullies suck. So what's the problem? Do you really expect any of us to agree with that bad behavior?
/r/ExRedPill11/10/24 04:10 PM

How is this relevant to the discussion here? This is nearly word salad. What are you even talking about?

I was raised by someone with similar ideas to redpill. It was fucking damaging. It's not good to raise children that way.

It's sad how you believe the made-up garbage that people write for fun on reddit. Going off of your comments... you don't know how relationships work. The problem is not women. The problem is your shitty view of yourself and the fact that you project that shit onto women. You're not ready for sex or relationships.
/r/ExRedPill12/09/24 05:13 PM

Using your own logic.... you are planning on settling in your relationship.
/r/ExRedPill12/09/24 05:11 PM

I don't think you're here in good faith.
/r/ExRedPill07/09/24 10:12 PM

Yeah if anything, people might be having less sex these days. The internet seems to be making so many people antisocial and fearful.
/r/ExRedPill07/09/24 10:10 PM
4

You make a lot of false, stupid assumptions. Then you get afraid of them. 30s age range is great. You get to leave behind the stupidity of being in your 20s. Guess what bro... you haven't hit 30 yet. So you don't know what it's like and you're still acting like you're in your dumb 20s.

Because people tend to grow up and mature.

Y'all want to blame feminism for the world falling apart. But then you post shit like this that clearly wants to break all social contracts.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/08/24 11:14 PM

Lol, you must be new to having conversations with other humans if you don't understand that sometimes things go on a tangent. Go start your own post if you have a problem.

"you can see your penis size based on your height" Right off the bat... this is so not true. The rest of it comes down to compatibility. after breaking up with your girlfriend a few hours later after we saw each other for the first time a little later, So are you talking about breaking up in a relationship? Or are you talking about dealbreakers when two people only have gone out a couple times? Pick a lane. Your question makes no sense.

Right, because nobody lies or exaggerates on social media. /s Don't watch content that upsets you. Find less shallow people to spend your time with. You're causing your own problems at this point if you're wasting your life believing every dumb shitty thing you see on social media. Don't you have anything better to do? A lot of patriarchal society is rooted in "applies to you not me." I've really been coming out of the ether with a lot of this shit and the more I actually analyze it the more it comes unraveled. "Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect."

They say Gen Z is having a harder time making/keeping friends irl compared to past generations. So no, you are not the only person out there struggling.
/r/ExRedPill10/07/24 02:17 PM

It actually shows that shorter men have more successful marriages overall; they’re significantly less likely to get divorced, though they tend to get married later than taller men. Getting married later isn't even a bad thing. People who marry too young and before they are ready is one reason why folks get divorced.

I read somewhere in OP's comments that his parents sheltered him, and his mom is the type of person who is a religious nutjob and yells at the TV all day. Something along those lines. Basically, his mom is the only woman he has ever interacted with. He needs serious long term therapy.

I'm dating a human being. Not a robot. My partner and I are vulnerable with each other every day. Define "respect." You're being disrespectful to men by calling them "males." women have a monopoly in the dating world. They are in high-demand, and most women are primally, enthusiastically wanted like most men will never be Even if this was true, the solution is for lots of men to stop being so desperate.

Here's an idea: multiple things can be true at the same time. Person 1 thinks ABC. Person 2 thinks EFG. Person 3 thinks HIJ. When it's a topic that is all subjective and comes down to personal taste, it's all valid. None of it is false. If you don't get along with opinion ABC but EFG works for you, then don't have out with person 1. Look for someone like person 2.

/r/ExRedPill08/05/24 01:13 PM

You should express that same concern for incels and redpillers. They all have their own traumas and mental health they need to work on. That's what this subreddit is for. If they're not gonna listen to a woman saying it, maybe they will listen to a guy saying it.
/r/ExRedPill06/05/24 02:53 PM

By the way, having trauma doesn't invalidate someone's opinion. What an asinine comment.

I'll give OP the benefit of the doubt that it happened. Who knows... but I'll go along with it. Thats means it was likely a traumatic experience. How do you know it's ridiculous? Have you done any of the research? I asked you last time on one of the posts you made. For the sake of argument, let's say you're ugly. Now what? What do you expect any of us to say or do? What do you expect? Why do you need this subreddit to tell you that you're ugly? You can listen to the trolls who hang out here, they would be happy to tell you what you want to hear. Once again, you aren't answering the points or questions in front of you. You're inventing str…

That means there's no reason for OP to hate on himself, if that were true.

Are you gonna answer any of the points that were made?
/r/ExRedPill04/05/24 08:43 PM

I never said that. I absolutely believe that happened. It would make perfect sense, because you learned to hate yourself and your looks. Trauma fucks with people's heads and self perception. You should do some reading on trauma. There's a lot of research going on about that subject right now and it's helpful to a lot of people.

This question has been asked and answered 1000 times before on here and incelexit. TLDR: Most dudes who post here aren't ugly. They just think they are. Their self-image is distorted. They need help that is beyond reddit's pay grade. If lots of people genuinely don't think you're ugly, what exactly do you expect to be told by them? Validate your false belief? Or lie and agree with you?
/r/ExRedPill04/05/24 08:10 PM

It's not the worst interpretation. It's the truth when you understand what relationships are about. Good relationships are about compatibility. Relationships go bad when two people are desperate to not be alone. I can't make this shit up. I've seen it happen countless times in real life. Should I not be telling you the truth about this? Clearly you have some attachment stuff going on. That sucks and that is legit. The answer is professional help.

If you just want a partner to fill a hole in your life, you'll be getting with them for the wrong reasons. It's clear you just want a warm body by your side. Why would anyone sign up for that?

Agreed. I don't talk about it because it would be a weird flex... but I have a lot of friends. At least compared to a lot of people. At least, that's what some other people have told me. I don't know how many. I never counted. I don't complain because it's a privileged problem to have. But it's definitely not easy keeping in touch with so many people. I'm close to a handful of them, some more than others. I do have my own trust issues. But I've found that sharing a bit of vulnerability and being…

not gonna share the thoughts and feelings they have about their deepest insecurities and failures with their friend group? If you can't do that with your friends, how are you gonna do that with a romantic partner? Nobody said anybody has to be perfect. Nobody has to share every detail with their friends. But people are not best friends if they can't ever be vulnerable with each other.

There's also the fact that us random internet people don't know you irl. Maybe there is something wrong or sabotaging with your situation, but it's out of our scope of knowledge. So internet advice may not be what you need.

I'm not sure if I've said this to you before. But I have said it on reddit before and I'll say it again. Maybe you're one of those guys who just needs to relax and enjoy life more. Maybe you're not exactly doing anything wrong. But the anxiety of this could be killing you inside and giving off weird vibes. It might be one of those things that you don't get what you want until you are okay with not having it or you stop wanting it. Life is weird like that sometimes.

"you are more dangerous to me than a wild animal" Once again, nobody said that. You are inserting race into this issue simply because it's another thing you feel victimized by. That's the only thing in common. If you want to talk about race, make a different post. I'm a leftist. Lol. Not that you bothered to ask. And you want to bitch about stereotypes? "Victim Olympics" is not a talking point of any political party. More bullshit you pulled out of your ass.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 07:31 PM
8

Don't you have anything to add to the conversation other than your victim Olympics? Race never had anything to do with this debate.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 07:05 PM
5

You weren't the person I was asking. Wow, your comment is highly insulting to trauma victims. Nice job downplaying trauma. Wild animals don't even do that. What is wrong with you? People like you are the reason many would choose the bear.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 06:13 PM
4

So you didn't even pick up on the joke? Consider yourself lucky and privileged for not knowing what being raped is like.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 06:11 PM
5

You'd rather die instead of dying? Ok buddy...
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 05:58 PM

Good for you.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 05:43 PM
8

Your imagination has failed you. Many rape victims are suicidal (or do commit suicide) after it happens. Including men.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 05:32 PM
7

I know this is probably frustrating to hear, but trauma responses are often not very logical but rather very emotional. Not really. Trauma responses make a lot of sense to trauma informed individuals. Avoiding risk, avoiding the unknown, and avoiding trauma are not signs of low intelligence or lack of being logical.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 05:21 PM
6

Clearly you don't understand how dehumanizing rape and assault is. It is so bad, that loads of people wouldn't ever take the risk of it happening, no matter how small the risk. It's not about how likely it is to happen. It's how bad the assault is and the lasting effects of it.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 05:18 PM
3

How
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 05:01 PM
4

If that man was literate, he would have read the comments where women say they would rather die than be assaulted.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 04:23 PM
8

I keep waiting for any of them to prove why they are safer to be around than the bears. But these dudes keep insulting women and not listening. Lol I just had one guy block me because he was so offended over it.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 04:14 PM
11

They say there's an overlap between the smartest bears and the dumbest humans... a lot of men in these comment sections are proving it.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 04:06 PM
7

Guys like you are the reason that most women (including myself) would choose the bear. The bear's behavior is predictable. If any woman chose the man, she'd be stuck having this sort of asinine conversation with him. You really want a woman to choose you to depend on for her survival? YOU the fucking reason, bro. Check your arrogance.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 03:37 PM
4

It's already been explained to you. Too bad you didn't read it or comprehend it. Are you aware that statistics say women are more risk adverse than men? There's a reason you pay more for car insurance. Please tell me, isn't it risk taking that is generally considered stupid?
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 03:33 PM
7

Did you read my comment at all? Jesus. I'd still rather pick the bear because at least the bear has an excuse for being illiterate.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 03:28 PM
5

Victim blaming! Wow. A bear isn't going to victim blame women... you're not helping the case for men.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 03:18 PM
3

Irrelevant. The point of the thought experiment is that the woman in the woods is guaranteed to run into either a bear or a man, and she has to pick one.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 03:17 PM
10

Read his post history. His stubbornness and unwillingness to listen are astounding.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 03:07 PM
3

Yup, that too.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 02:55 PM
6

Victims of rape are dumb? Wtf is wrong with you?
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 02:22 PM
10

I'm one of those people who often prefer animals over humans.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 02:11 PM
4

Oh speak for yourself. Clearly you don't understand the trauma and dehumanization that comes with rape. Many victims of such trauma commit suicide or are suicidal afterwards. They are not stupid. Grow some empathy.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 02:10 PM
14

and that the low rate of humans being killed by them is simply due to the fact that we don't normally encounter them, when this is simply not the case. This isn't even relevant to the debate anyway. Because in this thought experiment, it's a guarantee that the woman in the forest will run into either a man or a bear. The point is to pick which one.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 02:00 PM
16

Yup. And every single one of those women have been victim blamed.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 01:52 PM
14

Yeah he just wants to play victim. That's why he played the race card.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 01:51 PM
11

I read a post from another woman who goes hiking/camping frequently and she would rather have the bear.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 01:43 PM
19

Oh fuck off with this. You were using your own anecdotal evidence about how you've been targeted as a minority. How come others can't use anecdotes, but you can? People are allowed to make decisions for themselves based on past experiences.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 01:41 PM
10

But this is exactly the same logic conservatives use to justify police brutality against minorities. You know those arguments are bullshit. We know those arguments are bullshit. Because conservative bigots like to say how the minorities they hate on are animals. This debate is about actual animals vs actual humans. Huge difference. It doesn't compare.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 01:39 PM
20

Nobody cares that you're black. Nobody would have any idea if you didn't bring it up. The arguments remain the same. At least the bear isn't gonna play a victim card...
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 01:37 PM
12

men are more violent and dangerous than wild animals"? Where did I say that? Just my 2 cents. Fuck the statistics. It's about human dignity. The bear has a reason to not understand human dignity. Men do not have any excuse to not understand it.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 01:34 PM
37

Just my 2 cents. But I don't give a fuck about the statistics. At least with being attacked by a bear, that's nature doing what nature does. The bear is either doing it for food or self-defense. But raping and/or murdering a human being. That's a choice made by humans. Can't use the excuse that it's for food. Rape is not done in self-defense. And murdering a defenseless woman in the forest by a most likely larger man... this speaks for itself how it's likely not self defense.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 01:33 PM
17

You need to do less talking and more listening. Most women have either been assaulted or know someone who has. Many who have suffered through it (including men) would rather die than go through it again. Fuck the statistics. Animals are predictable. People are way less so. Death by an animal has more dignity than rape or murder by a human. Full stop. Have some empathy.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 01:23 PM
40

Exactly. Also: a bear isn't going to bearsplain about men or statistics to me.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 01:19 PM
15

Wow you really don't get it.
/r/ExRedPill03/05/24 01:18 PM
20

There's more to the conversation than cold hard statistics. There's more to life than cold hard statistics. The stupidity is in ignoring the larger conversation and variety of viewpoints. At least the bear isn't going to mansplain statistics.

What about the part about women with less than optimal aesthetic value? What about it? It's just meaningless. OP asked questions, I contributed to answering it. Just because it means nothing to you, doesn't mean it's not clearing stuff up for others. You're not the only person on this subreddit. You're not the authority on what has meaning or not. Lol, how is a direct answer to a question meaningless? Doesn't that make the question meaningless as well? This is just some strange way of trying to …

I answered your question in multiple ways. I meant standards in all aspects: looks, mental health, compatibility, and so on. I said it before and I'll say it again: have whatever standards you want. You just need to accept the consequences of having those standards. Lower your standards, raise them, adjust them in another way, or keep them the same as you please. Whatever. Just accept the consequences. What part of this is confusing? How likely do you think it is that a 50-something guy with zer…
/r/ExRedPill01/05/24 06:10 PM
10

Do you have anything to say about the points I made? Typically I think it's a bad idea for people to lower their standards. The exception is when someone has astronomical standards... like the one 50 year old incel from incelexit with a not good job history who expected to be able to graduate from an ivy league school and bang instagram models. I think people usually have too low standards, and that causes them problems.

It's interesting how you ignored the context behind every comment and post. Overly picky people are less likely to find someone. It's fine to want what you want. But expect that outcome. Less attractive women exist. Do you have an issue with this fact? Dudes on here like to complain how alone they are, while ignoring the fact that women experience the same feelings. Less attractive women often get ignored and dismissed, and treated like they don't even exist. Porn warps men's perceptions of what…

You've already said it's all about your looks. What do you want from this subreddit? Do you want people to prove or disprove that you're ugly? Because you've built all this armor around your beliefs about how you hate how you look. What is anyone here supposed to do about that? For the sake of argument, okay, your looks are that bad. Now what? What are you gonna do about it? There's nothing about this subreddit that is equipped to help with that.

Subjective: based on or influenced by personal feelings, tastes, or opinions. It's a fact that not everyone agrees on what is attractive or not. Everyone has their own opinions. Just by definition, it's subjective. I don't know how you can say it's not, unless you believe most people are lying or don't know what they want. Let's be real here, this isn't about what other people are attracted to. It's about your own feelings and experiences with not feeling good enough. You should seek professiona…

This is a very good explanation. Unfortunately this might create a problem. There is no way of knowing. It would constantly be an evolving and dynamic number. Sounds like you need to come to terms with this and worry about yourself. From what I've seen in my own life, every man I've known over the age of 25 has had hookups, and/or girlfriends, and/or marriage. Just my own experience. But I wasn't taught anything growing up that anybody has any value as a human being. The exceptions are unborn babies, and adult men who are leaders. Typical right wing bullshit.
/r/ExRedPill12/04/24 06:10 PM
19

It's dehumanizing, like other commenters have said. "Woman" refers to gender identity and also the cultural/social influences that shape us as human beings. "Female" strips away all of that. Same with "men" and "males." I've noticed a lot of pill type dudes want to ignore gender identity, socialization, and cultural influences. They pretend such things don't exist, or don't have much of an impact on anybody. Often when they use the terms "men" and "females" its because they recognize some of wha…

/r/ExRedPill11/04/24 07:54 PM

Just my 2 cents. But I want to be around people who I can enjoy their company and have a good time. I don't want to hang around anyone who is arrogant, or so depressed that it rubs off on other people, or who act like an asshole, or whatever. Looks only get someone so far. It's not what long term relationships or friendships are based on.
/r/ExRedPill11/04/24 06:31 PM

Here's an idea: maybe nobody is interested in you because you don't give a shit about anything other than finding women. (Or at least that's the attitude you give off.)
/r/ExRedPill10/04/24 03:18 PM

It sounds like you just haven't hung out with enough women. Try making friends with women and just talk to them, without any goal in mind other than to just learn and be open to new info/experiences.
/r/ExRedPill09/04/24 09:20 PM

Yup. As if marriage is only worth it if you can 100% control the other person.

I was raised by someone who had views similar to redpill. Being raised by a psychopathic pedophile was incredibly damaging. Imagine being taught growing up that you have no value other than your body and whatever you have to do to sacrifice your soul. I think most people don't question how they were raised. But I absolutely had to in order to survive.
/r/ExRedPill08/04/24 06:02 PM

The whole point of dating is to get to know people and find out who you are compatible with. I see a lot of pretending you know how to read minds in this post, but not a lot of communication with these people irl. How do you think that is helpful?

What even makes him a "bad boy"?
/r/ExRedPill08/04/24 04:12 PM

The solution is to change your worldview. The crap you were taught was wrong. It's too easy to believe the stuff we were told first, or when we were vulnerable and young.
/r/ExRedPill08/04/24 01:37 PM
9

True. But don't forget how a lot of these pilled dudes want to find a wife from other countries because they think she will be more submissive. It's still white supremacy. I guarantee you they want to whitewash these women, while also being insulting to white women by saying "you should be more submissive."

OP, I was raised with the same beliefs growing up. It took me a few years to undo what I was taught. First, I found better people to hang out with. Good friends who I formed genuine connections with. If the way I was raised (and the things you were taught through redpill were correct, then why would the results of it be so devastating? If a belief system is correct, good, and helpful, it wouldn't have driven you into isolation and fear. It wouldn't make it harder for us to make friends. It would…

I'm gonna go a bit against the grain here. In her defense, it sounds like she doesn't know how to stand up to these guys. Women are socialized to play nice in situations like that, because being too harsh can be dangerous. And many women/girls feel like the bad guy for telling a guy no, because they've been treated with manipulation. I know a lot of commenters are going to say you should break up. What I would do first if I were you is be supportive. Tell her she doesn't need to put up with guys…
/r/ExRedPill01/04/24 05:07 PM

I am a woman. I was raised by someone with beliefs similar to redpill. The manipulation, the misogyny, the right wing crap, it was all the same shit. There was so much abuse in that household and I spent like a decade being suicidal because of it. It took me so long to heal from that. I also haven't spoken to my family in years.
/r/ExRedPill01/04/24 05:30 AM

Yes, there have been stories like that in this very subreddit. If you do some searching you'll find them.
/r/ExRedPill31/03/24 09:44 PM

Ok? Lots of people get lucky when they find the right person for them. Idk dude. It's obvious you want to date and have companionship and whatnot. But also you talk so negatively about yourself. It's a form of self sabotage. Honestly from your post history it sounds like some mental health stuff is holding you back (totally understandable.) Maybe you don't need to completely give up on dating or whatever it is you want. Just put it on the back burner. Or figure out how to stop stressing over it.…
/r/ExRedPill31/03/24 12:10 AM

Depends on the person. Some people care, some don't. I'm 5'2" and most adults are my height or taller. So it literally doesn't matter to me.
/r/ExRedPill30/03/24 11:32 PM

Even if it was true, that doesn't mean you have to give up. There's a near infinite variety of people in the world, and you only have to find one person who likes you. Maybe work on your life instead of stressing over dubious graphs of unknown origin.

That OP proved to be an unreliable narrator. They changed their height. They said women were rejecting him, but his story was about random teens acting like assholes. Plus he said he has a gf in the past. Then they nuked their account when called out on it.
/r/ExRedPill27/03/24 05:40 PM
3

Like I said in another comment. Even if someone did have a horrible experience with bullying or whatever, it doesn't mean the OP deserves it or that their misconceptions about all women are true.
/r/ExRedPill27/03/24 05:35 PM

The story of a group of people descending on a random guy, in a public space, solely to berate and abuse him because he’s the ugliest person ever seen on the planet…COULD, in all technicality, happen. But I’ve never once seen anything remotely like that happen. Like, I haven’t seen ONE person do something like that, let alone a gang of young women. Yeah even if that did happen, it means the agressors are assholes. It doesn't mean the OP is ugly or deserves such treatment.
/r/ExRedPill27/03/24 05:33 PM

Why would anyone want to date you when you just want a warm body by your side?

Define "success"? Is sleeping with a woman one night, not caring about her pleasure, then her ghosting him considered success? A dude who is already in a relationship and he gets into redpill, then nukes his relationship because of it, is that considered success? Even if a dude uses redpill to sleep around, that doesn't mean he ever learns genuine connection with others or how to deal with stuff in life in a healthy way. Where is the success?

On the other hand, they told me that I am not socially in control or masculine enough. Socially, I am kind of clumsy, bumbly, dorky and awkward. This seems to be fine in a friend but not in a partner. Have you ever tried seeking out women who have the same/similar/compatible traits? A woman who is kind of awkward herself probably isn't going to hold it against you if you are too.
/r/ExRedPill16/03/24 12:21 PM

Just my own experience, but I've done all of this for my partner. I bought him a plant and chocolates for his birthday. I keep his favorite energy drinks stocked in the fridge. I've taken his car to the car wash before. And more. "you’re not his mom, you shouldn’t do stuff like that for him” this is usually either said by someone bitter, or because the guy literally doesn't clean up after himself.

Good, you understand that those tropes are bullshit. Guess what? Loads of other people (including women) think it's bullshit as well. Twilight is an obvious example. A bland girl gets the guy who does these big romantic gestures. It's silly. All you have to do is search for criticisms of these tropes and you'll find them. Social media, movies, TV, these are all cartoons of real life.

Exactly. Love isn't just about buying someone flowers. Sometimes it's doing a thing for someone to make their lives easier. The 5 love languages aren't an exact science but it's definitely something to consider about how different people show love: What are the love languages? We all give and receive love in 5 different ways: words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, and physical touch. U/candid_drawer_4856

I'm not sure if you're aware of this, but relationships take work and effort. There's stuff that goes on behind the scenes. It takes communication, understanding, and effort around the house to keep your lives together. It's not just about making big romantic gestures.

Sounds like they caught feels or they changed their mind. It's bizarre how so many dudes want to have sex early on to see how things work out with a woman. Not at all. I said nothing of the sort. Please try to read what is in front of you. Generally, I choose my words carefully. Dating is about compatibility. If you are inexperienced with sex and you simply want someone who is in the same boat as you, I see nothing wrong with that. If you started throwing out reasons saying it's because non virgin women have less value or some pseudoscience crap, I would call that misogynistic. See the difference? I'm just letting you know that you'll get a lot far…
/r/ExRedPill24/02/24 09:12 PM
5

Very good point. I just wrote a post in a different subreddit on a different topic, but the principle is the same. A lot of these backwards ideas that people have were either taught to them as they were growing up, or it arose out of traumatic experiences. Most people don't question how they were raised, and trauma is often too scary or difficult to process. It's possible to change one's mind and let go of toxic crap. But it can be very difficult and one actually has to want to do it.
/r/ExRedPill24/02/24 09:05 PM
8

So you're quoting the entire post, is that right? It's a post calling out how having such a preference makes absolutely no sense and is usually rooted in misogyny. You're still allowed to have that preference. Your preference is not logical and is likely misogynistic. But you're still allowed to have that preference. You don't necessarily need to change your preference (how would this be enforced anyway?) But you should accept the labels and the consequences that come with it.
/r/ExRedPill24/02/24 09:00 PM
6

It's like you only read one sentence of the entire conversation. No, you are not wrong. You can have preference, anyone can have whatever preference they want. Whether they will/can access that is a difference story. Exactly. This translates to "people can have whatever preferences they want." Why is it usually the dudes having the least amount of sex, who are discussing which women they would "rule out" the most? This is a separate question asking why these dudes are so judgemental.
/r/ExRedPill24/02/24 08:56 PM

I'm asking what the objective of telling someone they should be okay with dating someone they dont want to date is. Who said that? Can you quote this from who said it?
/r/ExRedPill24/02/24 08:51 PM

A lot of insecure people out there (both men and women, usually conservative in some way) are threatened by the idea that women can and should have control over their own sexuality.
/r/ExRedPill24/02/24 08:49 PM
5

I think there's a number of people out there in the world who feel like they have no control over their sex lives, so they jump to the conclusion that they are actively being controlled and need to take that control back somehow.
/r/ExRedPill24/02/24 08:46 PM
11

You're replying to comments that say people are allowed to have whatever preferences they want. And yet you read it as So men who struggle with dating should not have standards or preferences? Seriously how did you come to that conclusion?
/r/ExRedPill24/02/24 08:44 PM

That doesn't address what I said Tons of people don't date in high school. Teens are young, shallow, dumb, don't know what they want, and most would rather play stupid games and drama. People grow out of it by the time they are 25ish, usually.
/r/ExRedPill19/02/24 08:35 PM

Most men end up married or in relationships at some point. So using your logic, most men are attractive.
/r/ExRedPill19/02/24 06:59 PM

I'm gonna take a guess that it's not really about facts or logic. If most women are attracted to their partners, then OP has to face the fact that no women (that he is aware of) are attracted to him. Since his self-esteem and happiness rely on attention from women, this is a very difficult and ugly thing to deal with. It's easier to deflect and say things that aren't true.
/r/ExRedPill19/02/24 06:58 PM

A few women do use apps. Or for only a short period of time. Most don't. A few people find relationships on there, most don't.
/r/ExRedPill19/02/24 05:55 PM

That's not really a gendered thing. People of both (all?) genders experience getting more attention when they lose weight.
/r/ExRedPill19/02/24 04:41 PM
5

The problem is created by desperate and thirsty men. Because they are desperate and thirsty. It's not the fault of women that many men just want a warm hole to fuck. Edit: don't forget that the ratio of men to women on dating apps is like 3:1. It's a shit show on there that is not appealing to most women. So many dudes message the most degrading shit to women. Same goes for prostitution. Pimp = good. Prostitute = bad. Onlyfans girls = bad. Why? Because women who are in control of their sexuality and profit off of it are threatening to them. They think women shouldn't be allowed to be in control of their own sexuality. The fact that we have prostitution thanks to the patriarchy and higher sex drives of men (on average) is conveniently forgotten. Dating is about finding someone you're compatible with. Are you and him compatible? Do you want to be with someone who sees you as not a partner, but as an inferior? Do you want to be with someone who doesn't think for themselves? Do you want to be with someone who doesn't take your issues seriously? I'm guessing a lot about what his mentality is. But this is still something to consider. You can't change someone who doesn't want to change.

/r/ExRedPill27/01/24 07:07 PM

I'm trying to understand. If you're not into hookup culture, but you exclusively want lust, then what are you looking for? What kind of scenario plays out in your head that would be ideal for you?

It's definitely a case where people talk past each other and are not listening.
/r/ExRedPill27/01/24 06:41 PM

"Dating" usually means romantic dating. Some people interpret it as hookup culture, but that butchers the meaning of the word. If you want lust and to be involved in hookup culture, that's fine. But you do need to be very specific about it. Unfortunately, this is the internet and it's very easy to misunderstand others.
/r/ExRedPill27/01/24 06:26 PM
5

I think if what you want is mostly or exclusively to be lusted over, that's fine. You're allowed to want that. But you do need to be honest and clear about it. And understand that not everyone wants the same as you. Obviously, the advice you were given was not relevant to you. It's unfortunate that it was a big waste of time to deal with that.
/r/ExRedPill27/01/24 06:25 PM

, they just want to make other guys pay for the shit another man did, and for sure there are plenty of men more than willing to go above and beyond for those women, but having seen how they live and the dynamics on their relationships, especially when they dont work, i just cant bring myself to even consider being one of those men. What on earth are you referring to?
/r/ExRedPill27/01/24 05:49 PM
5

Why don't you want to be liked for your personality and as a person? Romantic love includes attraction for both personality and physical traits. If you want only the physical part, or don't find the personality part relevant/important, then what you want is lust.
/r/ExRedPill27/01/24 05:40 PM
8

i like being liked in a way, in a very physical way, and a lot of women both on the internet and real life tell me i have to do it their way, A lot of lonely dudes on here say they want to be liked in a physical way, but they want to be liked for who they are as a person too. Maybe there was a misunderstanding between you and the women you were talking to. Women are tired of being told that they only care about looks and not personality.

Those are all the worst assumptions about someone. People date around because not everyone is compatible with each other. Many people don't even know what they want when they are younger. Drama and flaky relationships are kind of the norm when it comes to teenage/early 20s relationships. Nobody has matured at that age, and few people know what they want. From both genders, people act like idiots. I'm sorry to inform you of this. Dating as a teen is typically a drama filled shit show. It's best to just focus on having fun and meeting people. It's not "feminist academics" that disprove it. It's reality and the scientific method we use to research it. Anybody can take a dive into their own genealogy (or the genealogy of others) to see that there's no such thing as a perfect family.

People still have sex in those cultures. If anything, sometimes religious pressure is so bad that some people never learn to enjoy sex. It kills their libido and they never want sex. Because they were taught it was sinful and dirty. This only happens in religious, traditional cultures.
/r/ExRedPill23/01/24 01:59 AM

I think this "wanting a virgin" mentality may come from some sort of motivation to reproduce, thanks to the lizard part of our brains. That tells me that whoever believes this shit has their own lack of self-control. Which is the opposite of what OP suggests.
/r/ExRedPill23/01/24 01:57 AM

Not necessarily. Someone who has slept with nobody (or very few people) can have impulse control issues. And someone sleeping with lots of people can have plenty of self-control. They decide to sleep around because they want to. It's a choice.

Don't find each other attractive enough to want to have sex with. Don't have similar libedo and partners are too possessive to allow satisfying the higher libedo partner with external help. Not everyone cares about this or wants this. It's so superficial.

Ok? And?
/r/ExRedPill15/01/24 01:53 PM

You sound exhausting to be around. No wonder you're single.
/r/ExRedPill15/01/24 01:50 PM
4

I'm saying the threshold has gone up. It takes more to be attractive as a man. Source? How would someone measure this anyway?
/r/ExRedPill15/01/24 01:49 PM
5

All the female friends I have (and had) are heavily fixated on how cute the new guy is. Ok? So what? This is normal human behavior. You've never heard men say stuff like "she's so hot, bro!"?
/r/ExRedPill15/01/24 01:48 PM
15

Hot take. People should have higher standards. I will die on this hill. I've seen many relationships between others who have low/no standards. It's not pretty. It always ends up super toxic. People need to filter out who they are not compatible with. And I'm sure people who spread redpill/blackpill ideas are gonna be a red flag for many. Like, I'm not gonna date someone who watches Fox News and believes in it. Same thing with redpill.
/r/ExRedPill15/01/24 01:45 PM
7

My point is that it has gotten more difficult on average. If you're gonna say shit like this, you better find some data for the past number of decades. Who would measure this shit and why?
/r/ExRedPill15/01/24 01:41 PM

Average height for men in the USA is 5 foot 9.

You're going off on a bizarre rant. I have no clue what you're talking about anymore. Have a good day.
/r/ExRedPill15/01/24 01:35 PM

There's not just one reason why someone turns to redpill or incel ideas. They might be an asshole, they might have mental illness holding them back, they might have social anxiety or be lacking in social skills, they might be living in the wrong place at the wrong time. There's not just one reason why someone will get rejected. It's more than just looks. Whoever they asked out may be creeped out by them, maybe they didn't like their attitude or personality, or maybe they were interested in someo…

/r/ExRedPill15/01/24 01:18 AM

Answer this. Why do you think people get together if not for love? Looks or money? Because that's shitty and shallow, if there's no love.
/r/ExRedPill14/01/24 10:47 PM
1

It's a weird fucking idea that the first person you date has to be the hottest and best person you'll ever date. As if compatibility means nothing.
/r/ExRedPill14/01/24 07:36 PM
2

It doesn't change my point at all.

/r/ExRedPill14/01/24 02:38 AM

It's really obvious from your post history that you don't want to change your mind. So why are you even here? You don't listen to anyone, you only see what you want to see.
/r/ExRedPill14/01/24 01:58 AM

Confirmation bias.
/r/ExRedPill14/01/24 01:48 AM
8

Lol if that's what you want to call it. What a sad existence you choose to live in. That doesn't answer the question. Also, it sounds like you don't understand what dating is about. It's about compatibility.
/r/ExRedPill14/01/24 01:46 AM

You think the likelihood of someone settling for you is as likely as a pet is going to die? Meaning, 100%? You must think very little of both yourself and everyone else on the planet. What makes you have 100% confidence this is going to happen?

The 80/20 rule doesn't apply to men because as so many men and woman will tell you. No, this is the first time I'm hearing this. It's rare to hear any women supporting redpill ideas, even more rare to say such a thing. Men will sleep with anyone. Which sure is hyperbole, but I think is much more close to reality for men than women. You're not making men sound good here.
/r/ExRedPill13/01/24 09:45 PM

80/20 rule debunked History of 80/20 Basically, 80/20 is a mathematical principle that works in fields like computing and economics. But it's not very reliable when applied to sociology. People are not as predictable as computers. Edit to add: How does the 80/20 rule not apply to men? That's never talked about.

It boils down to Stop consuming toxic crap. Start consuming stuff that helps you. Stuff that makes you feel better about yourself and be more productive. There's no other way around it. Your feelings CAN change, but it takes time and work. I'm saying this as someone who spent the first 25ish years of my life with zero self-esteem.

It recently came out that amouranth (popular female twitch streamer) made 57 million USD on onlyfans since starting it a few years back. I had to click off the video informing me because I was so enraged and disgusted. I nearly cried and banged on my bed because of how easy she and many other women have it. What would you say to someone who is upset that they are not rich and famous like Margot Robbie or whoever? I went through an article for a minute just to see how rich some celebrities might …

What makes you think women have it easier? Onlyfans has something like 75 million users. 1/3 of them are women, so that's 25 million women. Compare that to 168 million women in the USA (half the population, this includes women of all ages) that's less than 15%. Compare it to all the women in the world (3.95 billion) that's 0.0063% of women in the world who are on OF. So it's obvious that most women are not on Onlyfans. They choose not to, for many good reasons. Those who are on OF don't represen…

This is definitely some trauma that is resurfacing. People who have trauma sometimes can seek out scenarios, behaviors, or validation that reminds them of their trauma. I'm afraid I have had extreme schizophrenia and psychosis episodes and PTSD due to reading creepypasta and being exposed to MGTOW forums... I have to ask. Did you see a doctor and get a diagnosis of these issues? You are barely an adult, and you've unfortunately spent a good chunk of your formative years consuming horrible content. It's bizarre how redpill and blackpill folks blame feminism for things that are actually due to patriarchy and traditional ideas. In regards to suicide, men complete suicide attempts more often than women. In more feminist countries, the gender gap is less. Such as the Scandinavian countries, it's like 1 woman for every 2 men. But countries (like some in Eastern Europe) they are much more traditional in their values and beliefs. It's one woman for every 5 men who commit suicide. (I'm speaking in…

It's one possibility. Some sources say women self-harm more. (I see sources conflict on this, some say there is no gender difference.) Just speaking for myself (32F) when I attempted, I changed my mind at the very last second. My mind sort of went blank. The choice I thought was right suddenly felt wrong. I'm not usually one to nit-pick and debate semantics... but I don't care for the word "fail" in this context. Failing at suicide can be considered a good thing.
/r/ExRedPill18/12/23 05:49 PM

Women are more likely to choose less violent methods, like poisoning. Which may or may not work. I read somewhere that women are more likely to consider who finds and cleans up the body. So a messy method is not preferred. Women attempt more often than men. Women are more likely to seek help. These stats are just off the top of my head. I can dig up sources if you want.

Both men and women make bad decisions, which includes choosing the wrong person to be with. I know some people who have done this, and usually it's because of their own problems they never sorted out. "Bad boy" can be just an aesthetic. I can’t help but see women as incredibly demanding, unempathetic and judgemental Who gave you that idea? because they get tons of attention from men. If you’re a woman, you’re automatically more valuable to society than men. Based on what? Our bodies? Fuck that. If a woman goes onto OLD, she can get more matches and offers for sex as well as dating in one hour than a man in a year. They also have more options for situationships as well as casual sex. Why is any of this a benefit? None of this so…

If you want the real thing like you said in 2 and 3, then why does 1 matter? There's a billion different possibilities why a stereotype can be true. We don't know which reason is true here. Either way, it might not be a healthy situation between those two people. So it's nothing to be envious of.
/r/ExRedPill07/11/23 09:22 PM

Are you trying to discuss stereotypes or real life people? Are you looking to date a stereotype of a woman, or a real life woman? Would you rather be noticed for you who really are as a person? Or would you rather be judged as a stereotype, or try to fit into some sort of stereotype?

There's not necessarily overlap between those three things.

This is a very scary and unhealthy way to think about sex. This is something that requires professional help.
/r/ExRedPill25/10/23 01:20 PM

Ok. That's why communication and compatibility are important. Communication and compatibility are everything. I think you both have some trauma and misunderstandings about sex. If you do decide to go through with it, these sorts of issues will make sex so much more difficult.
/r/ExRedPill23/10/23 04:18 PM
10

Okay. So then why does the sexual lives of anybody else matter?
/r/ExRedPill23/10/23 04:02 PM

I have to ask... are you two waiting for marriage to have sex? There's nothing inherently wrong with that. But a lot of couples who do that expect their fears/insecurities/misunderstandings about sex to go away once they are married. It doesn't work like that. You don't want the beginning of your marriage to be stuck in a dead bedroom.
/r/ExRedPill23/10/23 03:41 PM

I just want to say, if you feel alone in this, you're definitely not.
/r/ExRedPill21/10/23 06:12 PM
10

This sounds like a classic case of being unhappy with yourself, and you're directing it at others. No judgement, I think we've all done it at some point in some way or another. We don't know you so the advice here is generic. But you really do have to figure out happiness and acceptance for yourself. Nobody can change the past. I get it, it's not fun. The process of figuring it out sucks. But I wouldn't be suggesting it if I haven't seen it work for myself.

Most people experience jealousy over something or another. Myself, I'm jealous lately of people who can afford to buy a house. What I do is I try and turn that jealousy into motivation. It motivates me to do better at school/work or to do other good things. It's clearly nothing personal against whoever has what you want. There's probably stuff going on in your life that other people would be jealous of.

Why do you feel such resentment?

Yup, you put it into words better than I could! The only thing I would add onto is #5. Profit doesn't necessarily mean money. It can mean they get whatever they want out of you. An ego boost, political power, sex, control of any kind.

The stories here of guys falling down the alt right rabbit hole are so similar to the stories over at r/foxbrain. These grifters use fear to get people hooked on their nonsense. It's like a drug addiction. He has to want to change. Otherwise, I'm very sorry but this is probably the end of your relationship. You really don't want to stay with someone who sees you as an enemy.

Lots of couples live together so they see each other every day. I've heard the average frequency for sex is once a week. (Don't quote me on that.) I don't live with my partner and we work opposite schedules. So I only get to see him once or twice a week. I'm looking forward to living with him.

The draft in the USA hasn't been implemented in 50+ years. What are they supposed to fight against? Don't you think there's more important, recent stuff to work for? So you do understand my point. Well unattractive women still are higher value than men. Who do you think would be saved in a sinking ship an unattractive woman or a good looking man? Who would be given shelter at war and who would be sent to the frontline? Men are disposable women are not. I was just reminded of the movie/musical Grease. The whole entire film is about sex and rock n roll, and promoting old gender norms. Half the characters are obsessed with sex. A lot of your post has been debunked many times already. Most women don't go looking for sex on demand with random guys. That means it's not that easy and/or not worth it in the end. For men, they're competing with the algorithms. Dating apps/sites are all a sausage fest. Whoever runs the sites/apps wants your money and your time, and they design the sites/apps as such. What does your title have to do with the rest of your post?

If you have plenty of things in life that make you happy, and sex is the only thing missing, then it's true that you have plenty of other things to focus on. There's tons of dudes out there who find themselves in your situation, that when they do get laid it's still not enough. They still aren't happy. So try to learn something from that. Was it a past relationship, friendship, or problems with your parents that helped you form these trust issues? That's usually where this comes from. It's important to take your time getting to know someone before you are officially a couple. Even then, people can spend years dating before they decide to combine and build their lives together…

The "man's world" is also the default world, i.e. what is normal. This is basically what the patriarchy is. But a lot of them claim the patriarchy doesn't exist.

Here's an example from history. Faber-Castell AG is a manufacturer of pens, pencils, other office supplies (e.g., staplers, slide rules, erasers, rulers) and art supplies, as well as high-end writing instruments and luxury leather goods. Faber-Castell was founded in 1761 in Stein, Germany, by cabinet maker Kaspar Faber (1730–84) as the A.W. Faber Company. It has remained in the Faber family for eight generations. The company expanded under Kaspar Faber's great-grandson, Johann Lothar Freiherr vo…

There's a lot to pick apart when it comes to this claim. But right now I'll just bring up one aspect of it. They usually say this and follow up with "because women get frequent attention and possible sex all the time." Not every woman gets sexual advances and attention all the time. The redpillers/blackpillers are stuck in their own mindset. They want attention. Sex is always a positive thing. Therefore, receiving sexual attention is a good thing. It's an "I want XYZ, therefore you should be hap…

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Gus was a great guy. I just think he had a better grip on his ego and masculinity than Walt did. Maybe I'm wrong... but I think the job market and the housing market are going to be the biggest influences on the future of the younger generations. Even if you manage to find your soulmate one way or another... it doesn't mean shit if you can't build a life with them. Even just basic starter houses and 1 bedroom apartments are out of the question for TONS of people. Trying to find decent jobs is a bullshit process. You have to network and know people, blah blah blah. We know how that goes.
/r/ExRedPill13/07/23 04:41 AM

No idea. I think in the western world, a large percentage of young people will try it at some point or another. That doesn't necessarily mean they will choose it as their main method of finding people. Social trends do change over time. Maybe younger people (millennials and younger) will use such sites/apps even more. Maybe in the future there will be a trend of not using them much/anymore for whatever reason. Maybe Gen Z is using it the most, but generations younger than them will see the issue…

Plenty of people still meet in person through friends, work, or whatever. Seems to me like social media in general (online dating, Facebook, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, literally any type of social media) is making life difficult for younger generations. Surveys don't predict individual opinions. If you were as good at statistics as you think you are, you would understand that. Not to mention, you keep inserting your own opinion as some sort of objective fact. It's not the case. You really should keep your mouth shut until you learn the difference. Besides, none of what you are saying would help OP. He needs professional help for his issues. I read something somewhere about how manhood and masculinity shouldn't be about trying to be ultra manly, in opposition to femininity. Being a man is in opposition to being a child, a little boy. (The logic would also follow that being a woman is not in opposition to being a man, but not being a little girl anymore.) So many of these redpill types act like immature wannabe frat boys. And they seek out women who don't act like grown women. This makes perfect sense the more I think about it. So ma…

Anything regarding aesthetics is subjective opinion. All of this nonsense about trying to pin down what is conventionally attractive is just a cope for body image issues. You really should work on speaking for yourself and not pretending you know the thoughts of others. It's not a logical argument, it's purely emotions and insecurities.

Why is it that if we said he looks fine, it automatically means we're liars, but if we said he looked ugly we are telling the truth? Selection bias and confirmation bias. And an inability to distinguish subjectivity from objectivity.

That's an incredibly heartless and cruel answer. Besides, your DNA is not that special bro. Nobody's DNA is that special. If you don't know how to love or care for anyone who doesn't share DNA with you, that says more about you than anybody else.
/r/ExRedPill30/05/23 06:53 PM

That's a very shallow answer. Decent people get into relationships, marriage, and kids because they care about each other. If you care mostly about risk and risk assessment, you should be looking for jobs at an insurance company, not for a relationship.
/r/ExRedPill30/05/23 04:28 PM

Children are an investment in the future, no matter who their parents are and no matter if their parents are in their lives. Personally, I think it's messed up to not care about others simply because you don't share DNA with them. That's some tribalistic crap.

That doesn't even make sense within the context of redpill. Allegedly, women have millions of options while men have next to none. So why would women be settling? It sounds like men would be the ones who have to settle. It's all bullshit anyway.
/r/ExRedPill09/05/23 01:31 PM
1

For inexperienced men (most redpillers) yes that might have its appeal in theory, I think a lot of redpillers don't even realize why it appeals to them. but both experienced men and women realize that the volatility, poor communication skills and general chaos that comes with dating an emotionally immature person is not worth it. It definitely goes both ways for both genders. Being young, dumb, and immature is not specific to a certain gender.
/r/ExRedPill09/05/23 05:00 AM
3

That's what redpillers want, though. It proves their (wrong) bias that women are inherently immature They are immature themselves. Like attracts like. If she's young, dumb, and immature enough, they can take advantage of her and treat her like garbage easily.

Because it's not about power. Dating is about trying to find the right person for you. If you think dating is about power dynamics, you're already off to a bad start. Going through messages from guys online is kind of like going through your spam folder in your email. Quantity =/= quality. It's difficult because loads of guys do just want one thing but they pretend to want another. There's also the fact that many people (both men and women) don't know what they want in life or dating. So it ends…

The wife wants to sleep with her husband like any normal couple. But he sees married, non virgin women less attractive so he isn't interested in his own wife. It's messed up.

I think it's worse than hypocritical. Such an ideology is based on the fact that one person gains value as a human being by doing something that is degrading to another. I don't know how much more fucked up it can be. Life is miserable when it's all a zero sum game.

I did not specify friends or romantic partners. Why? Because it doesn't matter. It's both. I've met most of my romantic partners through friends anyway. The problem with that is men who are struggling with relationships and dating might not know what it means to be successful at relationships. That's why they go for PUA's. Tell him to cope harder. 😂 Jokes aside, it's sad how far people will go to defend someone. Tate isn't just a manipulator of women, he's a manipulator of men too. It's easier to fool someone than it is to convince them they have been fooled. Sometimes I have this fantasy in my head that all the manipulative narcissists on the planet would just disappear to their own separate space and let the rest of us just carry on with normal lives. The narcs world would dissolve into madness instantly.

I can't speak for the influencers. If you have enough money and fame, you'll have a fan club somewhere that supports every stupid thing you do. As for the garden variety redpillers, there's no way they get older without alienating people in their life. They die alone, with the exception of maybe a few braindead enablers that stay by their side. No true friends or love.

It's not a fact just because you want it to be. Putting words into my mouth and creating strawman arguments doesn't help your case. Where'd you get your information from anyway? From Andrew Tate? Lmao

What the fuck is a sexual market? It's called Sex Trafficking. Or Human Trafficking. Which by the way, Redpiller's homeboy Andrew Tate was just arrested on trafficking charges. Fuck around and find out!

I’d say majority of women don’t want to financially support their husband. They’d want him to be the provider, protector, and leader (which is no problem btw). So they’d rather not pay majority of the bills and/or lead him in a relationship So you think the average women would much rather pay majority of the bills, marry a man that can’t really protect u in certain situations, and rather make majority of the decisions? It’s pretty much the reason why they want the “6ft, 6 figure, confident, inte…

However, there is this issue where most people (primarily women) aren't realistic with dating partners when it comes to socio-economic circumstances. I don't think either gender is realistic. Too many men have zero standards except wanting to find someone attractive. That's not a recipe for long term relationship success. It's not realistic. Now that the other half of the population has entered the work force, the salaries are lower and generally the market is more competitive. What does that ha…

In gender terms, I just feel like a disposal tool - yet another cog in the machine. I don't feel as though I'm taken seriously as a person unless I provide something only the top percentile of the population can provide. That's not a gendered thing. Loads of women feel the same way. Most of my perspective and mental health issues (like most men) are downplayed or invalidated by society disproportionately compared to women. Women have been socialized to be more emotionally aware and sensitive. Th…

Love is a form of joy. I'll just leave it at that. I think the fact I got so depressed over the past year is because I started relying so much on loving someone else. That's a very powerful and wise realization. I think you have more potential than you realize. It's just plain as day how much you drag yourself down. Nobody wants to watch you do that and I know you don't want to do that either. . I often do end up looking back at myself years ahead and realizing "wtf, how did I think that," so it…

You really need to work on keeping an open mind. About anything and everything, really. New ideas, new experiences, new people. It's important to recognize our own biases. One of them being, once someone believes one thing it's incredibly difficult to change their mind. Another bias is how just because you haven't experienced something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Especially if you're lacking in life experience (which everyone is at your age) then there's so much you just don't know. Yet anot…

I don't "envy" them. I don't think it's envious in any way. It's just a form of entertainment they choose to go with. Sex and going on "cute" dates is fun, Then why would you constantly bring up how shitty people end up in shitty relationships? You know it's not relevant and it's not the best way to go. and it gets more fun when you're with someone you think is extremely valuable. Shitty vapid people think this way. Normal people don't. You can get this idea out of your head now. Well it's just …

It's the way the world works for shitty people. But plenty of people out there are not shitty. You're not going to attract them with a shitty attitude.
/r/ExRedPill28/12/22 04:23 PM

Most people aren't aware of how they appear to others. So I don't believe you. People stick in shitty relationships because they are afraid to leave and be alone. Your astounding lack of experience, paired with your arrogance, is making you say shitty and wrong opinions like you just said. Do you envy shitty relationships between shitty people? Why is it so hard for you to believe things can/are different for other people out there who aren't so shitty?

Meanwhile, all I fucking care about at this point is just someone to be decent looking. I honestly have no fucking idea what else I would care for. Lots of women your age think the same way. Nobody in your age group has any life experience so all they know is who they think is hot or not. As people get older, they learn to value things that are more important than looks. You're honestly going to shit all over women your age for having the same standards as yourself?
/r/ExRedPill28/12/22 03:28 PM

This is what happens when young people are told that the only value in life is to find someone else to date. I'm sorry you're going through this man. You're going to have to find your own path. No one can or will do it for you properly.
/r/ExRedPill22/12/22 02:26 PM

You just keep missing the point, don't you? I think the one suffering from confirmation bias is you. I lived for years thinking all I had to offer the world was my body. It was miserable and depressing. Sounds like where you're at right now. I worked on my depression, found another purpose in life, stopped giving a fuck, and grew the fuck up. It's way better and happier. I don't give a fuck if people are into me sexually. Don't need it. It's too much baggage. Besides, someone has to photoshop th…

Most people are bad at viewing their looks objectively. You're probably not as ugly as you feel. Even if someone else is good looking, it doesn't mean their life is all happy and perfect. Everyone has problems. You don't know what goes on in their private life. Literally everyone in their teens and 20s compares themselves to others and thinks they aren't good enough in one way or another. There's probably someone out there who is jealous of you or some aspect of your life. I have a friend who I …

Usually their relationships are shitty and/or its hurtful to their partner. That's not something to be jealous of. Having a partner is not a good thing in itself. It depends on the relationship. Would you want to date someone with any of those bad qualities?
/r/ExRedPill17/12/22 03:07 AM

I agree. I don't think I could ever date someone who was not intelligent. There was a few guys I went out with who were not the best looking. But we had a good thing going because we had great conversations.
