I don't understand why not being able to drink would kill the vibe. I get migraines and there have been times in my life where I can't drink at all because of that. If anyone has a problem with that, they don't need to be in my life. Alcohol is not necessary to have a good time.

Omg I hate beards and all these guys have them!! Newsflash, most guys look better without them! I've yet to meet a guy who looks better with a beard than without.

I hate that subreddit. I spent a long time trolling it on an alternate username. These are just complete LV losers who embrace MGTOW because no woman will bother looking at them. I got into it the other day with some people, because I once again reiterated that I only date men with college degrees. It's not my fault most men don't aspire to more than a high school diploma these days.

I actually hate most male doctors and refuse to see them, especially when they're going to be touching my body. I was seeing a urogynecologist who was a man, and he had the audacity to tell me that the problems I was having were all in my head. I was like, "first, you're a misogynistic asshole and two, I'm a therapist. Don't tell me I'm crazy because you're too dumb to actually know what's going on." Fast forward to last year. I went to go see another pelvic specialist who happened to be a man. …

This is so sad. He was so young. Typically, colon cancer advances very slowly and there are plenty of signs. I wonder if he just ignored them.

That has to be so hard for you to watch. I would probably end up destroying the friendship because I wouldn't be able to keep my mouth shut.

lol, I sent him a message asking him to take down the post he made on another sub that's totally irrelevant to this topic. He wrote back and told me he had 500 people messaging him supporting him and only three people who support me. I was like, "doesn't that tell you something about the world we live in?" Tried to give him a little advice. Reminded him that instead of being angry as successful women, he can become the successful man they want. He thinks it's all about money. I make my own damn …

Wow, he was so desperate to respond to me that he actually responded to a thread I posted on another sub (but not this one!). Let me point out also the fact that he's evidently a custodian at a school, and he has a severe porn addiction. This worries me tremendously.

I know, amongst all of the validators on the thread, there were some women who were talking about how they'll date men who are way below them. Good for them. More power to them. Let them try to save the world, one LVM at a time 😂.

You're right. I'm not shitting on his job. I'm shitting on his lack of ambition and the fact that he's upset that women aren't willing to settle for that.

I just responded to him. I literally can't handle this pity party. A dude who wants to do nothing to improve himself, and thinks he deserves a woman who has actually done something with her life. Can you imagine how miserable any partner of his will be? One of those pickmeishas on that thread who are telling him that they would be okay with his lack of ambition would marry him thinking that they can change him or deal with him, and then be miserable for the rest of their lives, but stay with him…

No, I didn't read his post history! I thought about it, but didn't. Let me go check it out. Maybe it's good he's weeding himself out ahead of time with his career 🥺

Oh my God, but the comments were full of talking about her and how she's superficial. How he's just working honestly to make a living, and how she is an awful person for wanting more.. It got me furious.

And as a woman who knows what she wants, I totally get and appreciate that. But there's also got to be a modicum of flexibility. Also, she's a little bit awkward. I feel a little nervous when I watch her interact.

It's true. I don't know if they talk about her in later episodes, but I'm still only about halfway through. I'm planning on watching some more right now. I kind of want to know what happened with Nadia.

You're welcome! There's actually something to the whole arranged marriage culture. The rate of success in those marriages is actually significantly higher than it is in love marriages. I wish I had been paired with somebody when I was younger. Might have saved me a lot of aggravation 😂

I hope so too! She's definitely one of my favorite people on the show. I can't stand Aparna, though.

I know. I really liked her insight. I think a lot of us do this and don't even realize what we're doing. So it's really refreshing to see somebody actually aware of it.

Wow, I'm getting all sorts of messages in my inbox, including an abusive message from a guy named u/ihavezeropersonality telling me I'm "fat as fuck." Reported him immediately.

I can also identify with this. I grew up traveling the world and still love to travel. I love it when I ask a guy if he likes to travel and he tells me he went on big vacation to the panhandle of Florida last year.

Oh, that's not even the best part. For like weeks after that date, he kept telling me that he really wanted to date me but he couldn't because I "insist on having children." I'm like, "you might be an awesome kisser dude but not good enough for me to give up on my dream of being a mother." They think they're so special that we should give up on everything we want for them. I think he's kind of a serial dater. A short time later, he started going out with a new girl and made another comment to me…

I went out with a guy I already knew and he told me he hadn't closed his mind off to more children, then after our first date, he said that he really didn't want any others. So he'd be totally okay with me taking care of his so he can go out and have fun, but would deprive me of having my own. Ugh. No way dude.

I just got out of a relationship with a man who makes a lot more money than me. I'm working on my PhD and have a stipend of about $20,000. He made over $100k as an officer in the Air Force. it was very common for me to end up paying for my own meals. On top of everything else, he rarely opened doors for me and also was completely cheap about my Christmas present and I spent a ton of money on his. Anyway, I digress. I think the real issue is that men are adapting to this ultra feminist society th…
