Woman #2 for sure. I won’t date a woman who isn’t intellectual, they’re boring af.

Lol victim-blaming.

Put on a pedestal vs treating them well… hmmmm.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/21 01:01 AM

What is HVM then? Men who will do everything for you and put you on a pedestal? Gross. I’d never want to be with a woman who expects that from me. I’m tall, handsome, well traveled, cultured, educated (just not rich). All my intellectual friends would feel the same. Relationships are about equality, compromise, communication, not domination and a rigid rule set.

Yeh

But women didn’t evolve to like fancy apartments. They were socialized into that. Or fancy cars. Also money =\= competence. Guaranteed I’ve read more and know more than the vast majority of my rich friends (I went to the best public university in the USA so I have good comparison points with those who graduated and made lots of money.)

Men earning more money is so complex, it’s not remotely comparable to what homo sapiens evolved to find attractive at an instinctual level. It is something that has been socialized into women to be attractive and that can change rapidly.

But if you are less attractive to men then your pick of the litter goes down in quality as you age because you yourself become less attractive compared to other, younger women who will out compete you for the best men do you not agree?

“Why is it that women always think personal anecdotes or the exception to the rule is a legitimate argument? Serious question I notice its really just women that do this, and they do it all they time” That is not facts and figures it’s just plain old sexism. You literally used your own anecdotal evidence of talking to women as an excuse to be a bigot while also being a hypocrite. That is toxic behavior. Please be better.

It does suggest a larger truth though don’t you think?

Yet women do it all the time. Are we really going to put all the blame on the guy in a consenting adult relationship?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/21 05:27 AM

As a feminist, I actually agree with this take.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/21 05:24 AM

Sorry for the toxicity from the two assholes who spoke to you. Not all men, as I’m sure you know, are like that.

Yep.

They’re more educated, they beat their wives less, they do more of the house chores, what are you even talking about lol. Maybe they don’t earn more but that’s through no fault of their own. Read Piketty my friend instead of Taleb.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 05:19 AM
2

That is insanely toxic. How can you know that that is correct. Most modern women do not have what it takes to be partners if we consider them by the same standards either. Humanity is a hodge podge and we each find someone who works for us. No need to attack an entire gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 04:53 AM

Also ew. Women-first. That’s so toxic.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 04:38 AM

I disagree. A profound amount of thought went into today’s incarnation of feminism. If you think FDS is better you simply don’t understand the world, relationships, or just don’t read much. All of which are awful. The man who does not read has no advantage over the man who cannot - Mark Twain. FDS was made by a few spurned women. Modern feminism is a profound rethinking of society achieved through centuries of very considered thought and has been nuanced to encompass as many things as possible t…

So you don’t Christian men. Sorry but that isn’t exactly the way the world is going in terms of ascribing value. I don’t doubt that you’re v successful though. Just saying as time goes on your way of being is lowering in value. So maybe FDS works in your niche idk.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 04:22 AM
1

Right it was just the easiest quantifiable measure I could think of. I’m willing to submit myself to whatever standards you have and I’m confident that either I’d meet them or I wouldn’t be the guy for you but you’d understand how I am HV to many women. To any men who come across this I acknowledge I got v lucky in the genetic lottery in terms of bone structure and height but that isn’t the only thing I consider makes me HV. I consider my financial independence, extensive knowledge of multiple r…

I doubt your bf’s accomplishments would impress me very much. My best friends are working on the forefront of quantum computing and writing novels so you can go ahead I won’t accuse you of lying. I’m curious what you consider HV I’m guessing $$$$, which is fine but it’s not what the most cultured and intellectually developed/artistic people want and that’s the field I’m successful in. The reason I’m talking about myself is to establish credibility and describe how a large portion of HV men would…

Trust me, in big cities no one wants to date a conservative.

I see. So you’re very low value in any modern metropolis in the Western world. Got it. If you’re rural then I get it. Y’all have not caught up yet.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 02:41 AM
9

Also if you are HV (you don’t have to believe I am for this point to stand) you have your pick of the litter. You aren’t going to waste your time on girls who follow FDS hahahaha for the same reason HV girls wouldn’t waste their time with RP men. It’s pathetic that you need waiting and vetting to be able to tell the caliber of a man. HV men don’t want their girlfriends to see them as consumer objects. They want women with maturity and taste who don’t need a subreddit to tell them what they need/…

I mean I can send you screenshots of how many dating app matches I get? Not sure why you doubt me when I don’t doubt the user I replied to is very successful.

You’ve been serially dating men correct? Who will all pay for first dates? If a guy is paying for your food at every meal then he has no self respect and isn’t a feminist.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/06/21 02:33 AM

I’m what is considered “high value men” and if I ever heard a girl I was dating was in FDS/taking advantage of men for food I’d drop her instantly.

I honestly find myself struggling to find attractive (I myself am 6'2, normal weight, attractive face, head of hair, etc.) women who will also be able to converse with me about the things I read about like postmodern lit, economics, philosophy. They're just very rare. They're rare in men but less. Almost all the people I meet online who are into these things are men. That makes it hard for me to like women as much as I do men on the whole as people.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/21 08:30 PM

Some of us are actually hot though. Why do I have to settle for someone who isn't attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/21 08:26 PM

What about love? Should I not be looking for love? Should I compromise on that too?

Everything in the world is what people think it is. We are what makes things things. Without us everything would just be everything. Nobody there to generalize, systematize, organize, classify, etc.

Lol to you maybe but not to the men consuming your ass honey.

Ever heard of necessary but not sufficient? It's a pretty basic philosophical concept.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/21 07:09 PM

Studio is just 950/mo. I agree it isn't that much but it's enough. But you're right on no retirement/emergency fund. But again this is the MEDIAN wage. And starting out you can't really expect to have enough to put into retirement and an emergency fund. You know how we fix that? Raise the minimum wage so it pushes other close wages up, make a national free healthcare system, and massively build out apartments in cities so that they are more affordable. That lowers insurance and rent. I don't own…

Lol I live in Austin and comfortably live at 40k/yr. You just need to not have kids. Especially starting out right out of college 40k/yr is totally respectable and actually the median salary in my city.

Even first dates?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/21 12:04 AM
1

Sometimes. And much more often from the man than the woman. So just statistically women are more likely to flake. Just the act of making and organizing a free plan also would invest a man more actively in the date and make it less likely for him to flake though.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 03:59 PM
1

Definitely a cultural difference. It is overwhelmingly expected for men to make plans here in the US.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 03:32 PM
2

I'm not saying men don't flake but again, the institutional framework of dating in a patriarchy makes it such that women are much more likely to. Period.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 03:19 PM
3

You’re just wrong. Think about it. Men overwhelmingly initiate and make plans. Who’s going to be likelier to flake? The person making the plans/buying tickets etc or the person getting asked to plans?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 02:40 PM
-2

Not in the dating world. Women are insanely flakey.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/03/21 01:40 PM

LOL you clearly haven't seen the stats that show dating apps are quickly becoming the number 1 way people start relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/03/21 04:23 PM

What? I don’t get this?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/21 08:08 AM

Easy for you to say. You just sit around waiting for men to approach you. You go out there and try it and see how easy it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/21 03:59 AM

It’s because of the amount of it. With dating apps you are constantly rejected. Constantly.

I dated a sex worker. Super normal chick. Not all sex workers are dirty whores addicted to crack in motels with pimps. Just saying it’s a spectrum...

I dated a girl who did sex work (full on selling sex) essentially for fun/extra cash/as rebellion. Nowadays with online sex work it seems super easy and not at all as a no other option gig.

I’m 6’2” considered very attractive (sorry, you asked) and I get tons of matches on tinder and date really easily but once they learn about my lack of career ambition, my messiness to the point of disgustingness in my apartment (I dress well and present well outside), my obsession with reading, dislike of traveling/sports and desire for settling down and creating a family they back off VERY quickly. I have never been able to hold down a relationship for longer than 3 months (some i broke up with…

Can you not understand the massive difference in power the two groups hold though? 50mil + never has to work another day in their life, can lobby politicians to get them to do their bidding in countries that were founded as DEMOCRACIES, get to pass on that wealth to their children who will not have earned a cent of it, at that level of wealth it tends to grow and you get an accumulation at the top as has been shown in many many studies, the most influential of which is Thomas Piketty’s and his t…

Some I suppose but they would be the minority. Most who can’t attract women would be poor/unintelligent/short.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/18 07:27 PM

The argument being made is that if you can’t attract women you can’t have kids and are therefore sterile. Hookers do not affect that argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/18 07:24 PM

Sperm banks are pretty exclusive actually. You need to be completely genetically healthy, tall, and graduate from a good university. If you are those things already there’s a huge chance u have no problem attracting women to have babies with you the normal way.

How you gonna have children with a hooker?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/18 07:22 PM
